When all of them were surprised/shocked/worried seeing Naira climb up. It was only Karthik who looked on with faith and hope. he was the first one to believe in her.
Then Naira slips down (btw Sherni ne kya kick diya creep ko and she doesn't know also, muaah my girl, bahut jald ek sau do sau muke aur mar do) but Karthik holds her and assures her that he is there and with that assurance she climbs one again, because she believes in him, that he would not let her fall.
Both of them didn't let the other's belief down, Naira broke that matki like Karthik knew she would and Karthik never let Naira get hurt while going, nor while doing down (when she falls right into his arms was aww, like dropped an angel from heaven only for him) just like Naira had faith that he would not let harm come to her.
