Ishita was driving while Raman was patting ruhi's head softly. Ishita was just admiring them, when raman looked at ishita and said-ishita, I am thinking something.
Ishita -what??
Raman -yahin, that I am taking u two there but u guys don't have any clothes to wear, how u people will stay there.
Ishita -maine toh yeh socha hi nahi,then let us go back, hum phir kabhi aa jayenge aapke saath. She said smiling meekly, though she was denying at first but now she too want to spend some lone with with him. But now she had to deny for the trip as they don't have any clothes.
Raman -r u mad, Itni choti si baat par trip cancel karta hai koi. After a km, there is a mall, we will go there and pick clothes for u two along with the basic things for Ruhi and u. And we will have something there also, my bachcha didn't had anything since long. Tumne bhi toh kal se kuch nahi khaya hoga, he said looking at her.
Ishita looked away and said -no I had, main kyun bhookhi rahungi.
Raman tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and said-u really think, I am going to believe this, I know tune kuch nahi khaya hai. I have heard ur stomach growling when u hugged me. He said making ishita look down.
Raman -main jaanta hoon madrasan, u love me so very much,bahut pyaar karti hai tu mujhse and u can't eat anything when I was so angry with u. I told u to get out of my life, I am so sorry ishita. I hurt u alot.
Ishita's eyes got filled hearing this and said-it wasn't ur fault, it was mine. Meri kismat mein khushiyan likhi hi nahi. She said and start crying.
Raman -arey, what's this, hey jaan. This is not done, sorry yaar I didn't wanted to make u cry. Please jaan, chup ho jaa. Achcha gaadi rok. He said and ishita stopped the car. She rested her head on the steering and cried.
Raman felt too bad that he made her cry. He called Mathew and told him to go to the mall while they just come. Mathew nodded and both went to the mall.
Raman looked at ishita and said -jaan, suno naa.
Ishita raised her head and said -I Am fine, sorry I overreacted. Actually it's not ur fault Raman, main kabhi kabhi kamzor pad jaati hoon but very soon I compose myself.so I am fine, she said wiping her tears.
Raman knows well that she is not well and he wanted to hug her tight and sooth her pain but Ruhi was in his arms and they were in a car, so he just let it go and said -ok, then let's go. We have to pick clothes for u two, aur phir, he was saying when they heard, phir khana, luhi bhookhu lagi.
Ishra looked at Ruhi and Raman said smiling -arey mera bachcha jag gaya aur betu ko bhookhu bhi lagi hai.
Ruhi nodded in yes and ishita said -then let's go, we r going. She said smiling suppressing her sadness for Ruhi. Raman just look at her and she closed her eyes assuring him that she is fine.
Soon ishraruh went to the mall, they went to the store where Mathew and his wife was and saw them picking ethnics for themselves, they were too happy in picking Indian things for them, Raman too went and picked some clothes for Ruhi while ishita took few shirts and trousers for her, she was looking around when her eyes fell on a simple pink saree, she was looking at saree when Mary said -it will look beautiful on u, can u please help me in selecting some good Saree for me too, as I don't know much about them.
Ishita -sure ,she said and went with Mary to select saree for her.
Raman picked clothes and accessories for Ruhi and then went to pick something for ishita. He was looking around when his eyes fell on a beautiful black gown, he liked it instantly and thought to buy but stopped seeing it sleeveless.
Raman -ishita will definitely not wear this, let me pick something else for her, he was thinking but thought to give it a try, what if she will wear it for him, thinking so he picked the gown for her and then picked a beautiful black and silver shimmery stole with it, in case she feels uncomfortable. Then he went and picked a beautiful blue saree and few anarkali suits for her. On the other hand, ishita was selecting beautiful colourful outfits for Mary, all the bright colours were alluring ishita too but, she was reluctant to choose bright colours and full ethnic clothes for her, as she wasn't wearing those kinds of clothes since long. All she wore all these days were just white shirts and black trousers, some time a simple Saree, though she want to look beautiful now but don't know how he will react, thinking so she didn't picked anything for herself except shirts and trousers and a simple pink saree oblivious that raman had picked everything for her, starting from,suits,sarees to gown.
Soon, their shopping ended. All went to have their food. Mathew and Mary sat on another table as they were eating non veg and Ruhi can't stand it's smell.
Raman has ordered noddles for themselves along with pizza for Ruhi. He was feeding ruhi and Ruhi was feeding him while ishita was having her food slowly, admiring them. Though she was happy seeing her daughter so happy and contented but deep down she was bit jealous as she too want some attention of raman. But Raman was all bothered about just Ruhi.
Ruhi -bach papa, petu bhal gaya.
Raman -bas last bite betu.
Ruhi -nahi papa,bach luhi thak gayi.ab soyi kalegi.
Raman -but baby, u were sleeping till now naa.
Ruhi -pal cchhopping kalke, khaayi kalaa ke, thak gayi. Ab soyi soyi.
Raman -ok, he said and wiped her mouth. Ruhi snuggled into Raman and closed her eyes. Raman start caressing her hair softly and soon she slept. Raman softly pecked her hair and then said to ishita-haan bol madrasan.
Ishita looked at him and said -kya.
Raman -yahin that why u r glaring my baby since long.
Ishita -main, nahi toh. Main toh kha rahi hoon, bahut tasty khana hai. She said trying to cover her embarrassment.
Raman -achcha tu kha rahi hai aur yeh bahut tasty bhi hai, then why u r keep on adding sauce to noodles. Dekh sauce ki nadi behne lagi hai. He said showing her, her plate.
Ishita was tongue tied hearing this and said -woh main, woh main.
Raman -woh main kya ishita, tell me why u r not so happy.uss samay bhi tu rone lag gayi, I know u were hurt, but ur crying was saying a different story altogether, Koi problem hai kya .
Ishita looked down and said -kuch bhi toh nahi.
Raman hold her hand and said-please ishita, I want u to share ur every problem with me.
Ishita looked down and said-ur all attention is on ruhi only, I too need ur attention.
Raman -i don't believe this madrasan u r jealous from ur own daughter.
Ishita's eyes got filled hearing this and she said -nahi raman, I am very happy for her, Aap Ruhi se itna pyaar kar rahe hai, I am just so happy for her. But I too want u raman, aapka pyaar aapki care, I too need it. I never got anyone's love, jab aapko ruhi ko iss tarah pyaar karte dekhti hoon, I realise how empty I am within, no one to love, naa amma, naa appa,naa bhai, naa pati. I have no relation to get love. Bas ek Aap hi hai jisse I expect love ,aur jab Aap bhi mujhe attention nahi dete, I don't like it. She said looking down trying to hard her tears.
Raman -its not like that ishita, i was just giving u space.
Ishita -i don't need space raman, I just need ur love.she said looking at him.
Raman went little closer to her and said -toh yeh baat toh tu pehle bhi bol sakti thi. Dekh madrasan, I don't know how much right I have on u ,or how much right
u want to give me. So sometime I may back out thinking u may feel comfortable with being so near to u, but that doesn't mean that my love for u is anywhere lessening, it will be like I want u to be comfortable, I want u to be urself. Tune bahut takleef uthayi hai and now I don't want to hurt u for any reason. Toh agar main tujhse thoda dur aur ruhi ke thoda kareeb hoon toh bas isliye coz she has accepted me as her father but u still need time to accept me as ur husband, or just the man in ur life. And it's totally fine, coz the relationship of a man and woman has more aspects then just caring and pampering. That's why I was giving u space ,but now when u have told me that u don't want any such space then I will surely not leave any space between us. He said and start feeding her pizza.
Ishita looked at him and said -i didn't mean that, I can eat myself.
Raman -really but I want to feed u, let's finish all this we have to reach farmhouse on time. He said and they start eating together.
Soon all went to their cars and start driving towards farmhouse.
