I have always believed that the best character development in this show has been Shivaay's. Since episode 1, we have seen so many forms of Shivaay: Shivaay the brother, the great wall, the baagad billa, the 'stocks loving business tycoon' and ofcourse, sweet Singh Oberoi/ Paanika's billuji (courtesy of a tumblr name. I cannot remember who!!!)đŸ˜†

I especially loved today's scene where Shivaay voiced his takleef. He admitted that it wasn't his tadi, it was his pain. *points to heart*

The pain he recieved from Annika. The pain he recieved from keeping her close, from loving her. She broke his heart all at once. It wasn't delicate, it wasn't slow. It was fast. Quick, it happened in a timespan of a day.. and he kicked her out. Except that she never really went and she will never really go. It makes me wonder does a person ever only have one soul mate? Can you ever only love once? (A lot of Grey's Anatomy feels here right now, but regardless).

I don't do this much.. but I really appreciate and love Nakuul's acting as Shivaay. Just hats off. Special mention to the beautifully cultivated bond between Gauri and Shivaay- ShivRi right? I LOVE THESE 2. * Shivaay has Gauri and Om had Sumo. Sorry throwback here but parallels, ofcourse*đŸ˜ Hats off.. cannot wait to see more shades/more of Nakuul's versatlity.

Off point- Om. If you can see/hear that Pinky told Annika the wedding dress etc was sent in by Shivaay, when you know it was not, why for the love of God did you not tell Annika? What? I.. just?? Sometimes I just get so mad at the way Omki's character is being written up. Come on..it could have prevented another mu. đŸ¥±
