So here we are at LONG last...almost😆...countdown to wedding d-day, almost here...two worthy adversaries all squared off since a LONG time...waiting for the other to blink first, right down to the wire😆
That this has been immensely dragged is a given...even the characters are mentioning it to each other now...lol...but that said, today we got some really beautifully depicted emotional moments and dialogues for Shivika...
1) Shivika discussing each other's ability to admit their mistakes...Anika taunts him first about not listening to her on the Ragini issue so he retorts back that even she hasn't admitted her mistakes...just when I thought she would get busy sidestepping again, today Anika finally seemed to tire of holding on to all that inside her...and again worked up the courage to admit her mistake in a HEARTFELT manner...we've wanted this for so long, it was absolutely wonderful to see and a thanks to the writers for giving her good dialogues today..."Galti meri thi lekin bhugat hum dono rahe hain...kab tak ek dusre ko dosh dete rahenge...ek dusre ke LIYE ladte ladte hum toh ek dusre se ladne lag pade...faisla toh lena padega"...there was the Anika we've long waited to see...who understands Shivaay enough to know that his tadi won't let him back off so she even gives him an option of giving her an indirect sign that he wants to give their relationship another chance...
I loved the way she worked up the courage to hold his arm
2) The Gauri-Anika scene where after many days we got to see an Anika pouring her heart out in a heartfelt manner...not clinging on to any grudges or resentments but reflecting about what Shivaay means to her, what he brought into her life as she fell in love with him, never realizing quite when in the midst of all their crazy fights, he became her reason to live...some FABULOUS acting from SC in this scene...jee khush ho gaya seeing her get such a good scene after many days👏...apni familiar Anika itne dino baad dikh rahi hai yaar...I'd lost hope of ever seeing her again😆
3) The KANK sequence...whoever directed this...very nicely done...editor bhaiyya ko big thank you for picking such apt FBs from the engagement epis👏👏...especially the "Humara sab kuch ulta hota hai...pehle shaadi, phir engagement"...lol...I loved the CGI shots of the big huge moon in the night sky and Shivika both in white...the heartfelt pathos really came through today
4) Shivaay pouring his heart out to Gauri...many dialogues here seemed "inspired" from forum discussions😆...but no worries, happy to see CLARITY filled viewpoints being given to both Shivaay-Anika today...Shivaay expressing his vulnerability and admitting that it is FEAR that drives him more than all the anger/tadi that everyone claims is driving him...the fear that whatever drove Anika to break off their relationship can happen again and if he doesn't even know what it is, how is he to ever fix it?
Poor Gauri...lol Shivika seem to have broken her in their crazy games😆...bechaari toh rone lag padi...haha and out came Shivaay's stock "Sab theek ho jaayega...main sab theek kar dunga"😆
Yes, they are back to their crazy antics in the precap and will likely MU each other before they FINALLY manage to get married but jab itna jhel liya hai hum bechaari audience ne toh yeh final bout of contrived stupidity bhi sahi😆
Looking forward to BAND WALA Billu and his baraatis coming to rescue humaari paagal jhalli dulhaniya from whatever hole she has now dug herself into😆
