practically and legally speaking there should be a witness for any act. The marriage as per their heart is fine... but neither the sindoor was applied nor the mangalsutra was worn which would atleast serve as married symbol.
even in legal court wedding two witnesses are required to solemnise the wedding.
without the legal binding or the traditional binding (mark of the symbol) any act of becoming together as body and soul may lead to problem if the guy (mostly) does not remain truthful to the relationship.
this may mar the character of Chakor who goes by ethics and legal. Yes she accepts she is married but as a girl would want the binding in front of the society... thats why I said Suraj goes by his heart (he is genuinely truthful and fully consider himself as her pati) but Chakor who goes by her brain wants everything to be in the proper way.
