I would say No.

The movie has very poor WoM.

My friends who watched it were extremely disappointed. Few people even thrashed it badly

So don't waste your money on this crap.

I saw the Tamil version.

Strictly speaking, VIP the original was very down to earth and was not flashy. The music was good and so was direction.

This is not the same but I am comparing it to the original and find it wanting in all departments. As a stand alone movie, not bad. One time watch. Dhanush Kajol scenes are good though.

ETA: If you like the actors go, otherwise skip

I would suggest watch VIP 1 of you can findnit with subtitles. I loved that movie, it was crispy and entertaining with great songs and some great emotional sequences too.

If you are interested in tamil movies then watch Kodi, you will find the hundi dub in YouTube. Its an awesome movie, Dhanush is outstanding and so is Trisha and the movie is never boring at any point
