Arshi OS: End of Ray
Part 3:

Arnav was looking pleadingly at her as if trying to get through her and make her feel the depth of his feelings. She was looking deep at his eyes as if trying to search something beyond the Plead.
He cupped her face and gently rubbed the tears using his index finger. "I love you so much Khushi. Please don't leave me" he told joining their foreheads together.
Khushi came out of her trance and pushed him away. He staggered back but never let go of her. He hugged her harder this time. She heard his heartbeats racing up at a rapid speed. But somewhere she felt she knew it's rhythm and somewhere she felt connected to every beat. He pressed her harder to him and was mumbling something incoherent where all she could make out where his muffled sorry words repeatedly.
She cried harder " Why is everything in this way? Why is there so much pain? Why did their hearts connect only to get separated? Why?" She was wailing with him. Suddenly realization dawned on her. It was never only her pain that was there. It wasn't only her who got hurt. It wasn't only her tears. There the arms of the man who engulfed her into him, the beat of the heart that always synchronized with hers were also her companion all along. Their love had a strange blend of pain, hurt, tears. If there's always love in their hatred, there's also hate in their love. The streaks and specs of hate, heart break in their bond made their love unique, strong, undefinable, unlabeled. The intensity of the emotions hit her hard. She made his heartbeat as her soothing voice as her tears found no way to stop and drenched his shirt. She didn't understand if those tears were result of sadness, longingness, happiness, fears or anger. But she let them out as if their mingled tears would serve as the witness of their love and confession.
She felt herself being pushed against the wall suddenly and caging her tightly in his hold. There she met his blood red moist eyes
"Don't you understand Khushi? I love you" cupped her cheeks firmly "How do you think I will ever live without you. My breath would stop khushi. How can you leave me dammit" he shouted on her face but still his eyes and gesture were so vulnerable. She saw him taking a deep breath closing his eyes as if trying to recover from the mess of emotions.
When he opened his eyes all she saw was raw vulnerability. He looked scared and defeated. She never saw him like that and could never dare see it now. No she would wipe of all those insecurities. She would shield him from his ownself. She would protect him from his own inner devil. Even if she had to shred to pieces in the process.
He left her hand and leaned his forehead on her shoulder and cried softly when he felt none of his words reaching her. She was rigid and absent minded to his every plead as if she went to oblivion where there's no existence of him. He could no longer stand that very thought where she would go on without him and that too she would be happy in her world sans him. And why wouldn't she be? She had every right to happiness. She very well can pluck away the thorn like him on her way to peace. He defeatedly resting his face on her shoulder accepting her decision as his punishment. Little did he know more than his words, his heart and it's beats made her realise his feelings. No words were needed for them.
She slowly started hugging him and felt him trembling. She caressed his back to calm him. He lifted his head from her neck and looked at her broken. His eyes were full of tears and he looked innocently at her.
She gently wiped his tears and cupped his cheeks mimicking his actions of few moments back. Then she held his hand and dragged him along with her to the recliner.
He followed her like a lost puppy. Has she forgiven him already? Or she's gonna give closure to their bond?
She made him sit and she sat opposite to him on the tea table. He tightened his grip on her fingers unknowingly every second. She handed him a glass of water. But when he looked at nothing except her eyes, she herself fed him holding the glass for him. He drank the water but never moved his eyes and handhold.
"Are you okay Arnavji?" She asked him after few moments of silence.
She herself was worn out with the onslaught of emotions and though her face showed every trace of her inner turmoil with all the tears still there on her cheeks and her voice hoarse, still she managed to look out for him and his well being. In that moment he felt as luckiest man ever on earth to get such a pure hearted soul for himself. Never in hundred lives he deserved her, still her kind heart was generous enough to make space for him in it's confine. When did he become this lucky? What good did he ever do to get her? He indeed was the biggest fool and class one jerk ever for doubting her purity and innocence. He felt as though biggest blessing has been booned on him from heaven. Perhaps Khushi is his maa's blessing indeed. Her kangans had reached it's rightful owner and perfect place to settle. He moved his eyes to her wrist and found it empty. He frowned a bit and there he was brought back to reality where the situation at hand is his live or die moment. He gulped painfully and ran his index finger on her wrist as if trying to fill his place in her life which now is empty without his single trace.
She saw him looking at her wrist and felt his fingers. Oh Maaji's Kangans! She got it.
"ummm Arnv..." She cleared her throat as it was too sour at the moment to speak..
"Arnavji I have kept maaji's kangans in the locker safely. Perhaps it would get it's deserved hands one day" she told suddenly.
He looked at her shocked "what?" he asked unbelievably.
To be continued..

Note: Initially it was supposed to be a two shot. But now I'm planning to give some more parts. Or should I wrap up soon? Do comment your views.
