First of all sorry for disappearing yesterday, Forum had blocked me because of more than 20 posts from a groupbie. Had to wait to post .
Second, SymphonyStar- Wish you very happy birthday!!...Don't worry too much about the show..its ficticious characters...don't worry too much about the cast and crew..this is their job and they know how to deal with this and move on.

EPISODE :
Caught the last episode today online just now. Looks like along with effort to close open loops, they also made effot to add the DRAMA element that Sony always wanted in the show for TRPs. I think one the major conflicts between Prod house and Channel was the story and drama element. The prod house wanted to bring a fresh and niche love story which we all loved to bits. The channel asked for more spicy female chest thumping , glycerine overflowing drama that they show in other shows . Thats why we had rumours of insane tracks like Dharmi marrying Mukhi and Aru's affair with City Chikna.
If it was a Kekta show , that rubbish track would have taken place.
I want to applaud the makers here, for not budging giving in to such ridiculous demands of dramatic tracks from Channel. That might have caused your show to shut down sooner, but kudos, you are probably the only show in which the male and female leads are NOT SEPARATED throughtout the show !!!đđ. Shaadi ke din se, show ke akhir din tak, Aru Mukhi saath the, saath rahenge...âď¸
When Mukhi tried to leave her, Aru ran after him. When Aru pretended to leave, Mukhi stopped her.
These guys are couple goals...will always be.đ
I know many are disaapointed that SR was small and more space was taken by other characters . But remember, the very reason show went down in TRPs was the gentle slow burn love story where lot of focus was given to leads. We are the only show that had that element, ebcause of which we fell in love with it. Ab itne last mein aake, ek poora spicy SR dikhaneka CVs ko, actors ko , koi reason nahi hai. A longer SR would have made sense much earlier , when they could have used that for TRPs.
Again, the whole hungama was TRPS, Sony doesnt care about niche viewers like us. I also feel that Sony and Prod house were at logger heads due to what content they should show, and because prod house did not buckle, refused to separate Aru Mukhi and refused to add stupid tracks, SONY treated them badly and ended their show weeks earlier than anticipated. Still, the actors, CVs and prod house held their ground and finished the show on a positive note.
I felt the team did their best under the circumstances. They had no incentive to show a lengthy SR at this point...SRs are usually shot separately with a small team on set, and they have to prep the leads a lot for that...why do that in the last episode when the channel is booting them. Yes had they known the show will shut down today , say a month back, then they could moved the SR sooner in the story. But the team were given a 5 day notice when most of the episode material was already shot. Given that , thier last two episodes have been crazy, but today's episode was much clearer and had better screenplay than yesterdays.
I would say, even though SR was very small, all the right emotions were there in place, you could still see the devotion in Aru, the need and happiness in Mukhi, and the emotion they shows was pure love. I quite respected it actually. For leads to pull this off right when they know show is ending and they are probably not going to work together again for a while, it must not be easy. Especially if they have become good friends.
Anyway, I digress. I liked the way they created a play, a drama so that Arjan and Rami accept guilt publicly. And in the true Anil Kapoor style from MAA movie, Raje leaves everything to Rami and leaves, after giving her Mishri back. And as you would expect, Rami redeems herself. Mishri gets her mother.
Maybe this was how the CVS had envisioned this sequence, but had to play out a shorter version of it. I liked that amidst all this, Mukhi's support was Aru and he leaned on her so much during past few episodes. Her hand in his hand, thats all he needed to live.
Maybe like I had interpreted they did have a though to do this Om Shanti Om type of re-incarnetion story after Rami killed Mukhi. From the episode on 16th, it could have easily gone that way..with all the bhaila has died theme. But looks like Channelldid not extend the show so they had to bring Mukhi back alive, get the SR done even with his zhakham and do the mini stage theater performance all in last 2 episodes.
Considering the speed and thoughtlessness of the channel, what the prod house dished out was fantastic in my opinion. All loops closed, including Dharmi's..which I hated frankly. That was the only thing I disliked, Dharmis redemption.
Anyway, the last dhol scene was an attempt by team to spend the last few minutes shooting in a happy, fun filled, and mast way. They seemed to be laughing while dancing and having fun, including Niyati Eijaz. Like Aru says, tension ho ya depression, bt to akrsakte hai, dance to karsakte hai!!
And the flashbacks were cool, reminded me of how we fell in love with this story.
I am actually quite satisfied with the episode today. Yes, not best performances by all, but they have no reason to give their best today. But they did what they could, closed all loops, stayed in character, and gave us the happy family feel at the end.
By the way, show khatam hua hai, forum nahi, hum nahi. We can always come to this forum to chat, analyze, connect and read each other.
Miri and RadhaRani, have a request for you. SR ke apne version ka ek OS likh dijiye...I always wanted to know how Miri imagines the SR ( mature content pe control đł) and how RadhaRani puts it all in her poetry...we have a wonderful bunch of creative people here, lets enjoy the forum for a while!!!
