Have this weeks trp ratings not come out yet? I'm hoping that this week naamkarann is back in top 10. It deserves to be in there. Kind of getting annoyed with the show either being on 7th and 8th position or being knocked out of top 10 and lying in the top 15 shows all the time. It's like a constant pattern where it might be 8th or 7th position, then the following week it will drop out completely. The show deserves to have a spot in the top 5 if not the top 3.
You know, the one thing I have noticed is that the daily serials that are in the top 10 the most and get the highest trp's, as well as being promoted the most by the channel in award shows and stuff are the ones that are by the more bigger and well-known producers like ekta kapoor, gul khan, rajan shahi, rashmi sharma etc.
I've always felt that shows that are by the more well-known producers are the ones that are given the best promotions, whereas shows from lesser known productions are ignored, like naamkarann.
It's extremely annoying to see the amount of favouritism done by the channel towards certain producers and their shows such as gul khan and her show ishqbaaz. Where channels could improve trp's of shows by less well-known and popular productions by promoting them more, it's like the likes of ekta, gul and rajan pay the channels to promote their shows more and give their shows more importance and coverage. How else is it that despite such low trps, ipkknd3, gul khan's production, is being given so much importance by the channel?
If our shows or some of the other shows that are from lesser well-known production houses had low trp's the channels, especially star wouldn't even make the effort of giving the show that much better promotions, yet ipkknd3 with it's low trp's of like 1.0 is getting a big bugdet from the channel to do a grand scale weddings, along side other types of promotions, but then naamkarann, being of a smaller production house, despite having much higher trp's is given far less of a budget seemingly and lesser promotion.
Don't get me wrong. I watch ipkknd3 myself so I am no hater, but it is something that I have noticed about the influence some production seem to have on channels.
