I read great reviews for Bhoomi too, she is a good contender , But I have not seen the film yet

yup if we are only taking the mainstream performances, than Bhoomi has been the best for me. The way she got the accent right, expressions were top class and the whole presentation of her performance was excellent.
Although this year there has hardly been any great performance, even Kangana was misused in Rangoon.

1. Swara Bhaskar (AOA) / Sridevi (Mom)
2. Kangana (Rangoon) No Chance, movie is a disaster , and she does not attend ,

I doubt they might consider Alia for that atrocious Badri movie

All the good actors in the industry are underrated. And, that is really sad.

Thanks to few people here..I watched Kabila today after reading this thread. Kabil is very good movie indeed with few flaws, hrithik amd gautami justified the roles. Sad that it's a flop too.

If they would have cut out the unnecessary mushy scenes then the movie was perfecf.
The whole ensemble cast did a great job.

but with all due respect..shabana azmi (adjectives fall short to describe the talent she is) was playing a supporting role in Neerja..so i don't think her being nominated in one was due to age..it was at the end of the day based on Neerja and sonam was the lead..shabana supported it beautifully by playing her mom

ratna and koko in lipstick however are lead roles..it was based on them entirely..so if they are nominated in supporting that be unfair..same how fawad was nominated in supporting for KNS was unfair to the core..since he was the lead by all means..

I dint mind the mushy scenes...but the way they forced on us that Rohan didn't leave any evidence behind ...when clearly he left forensic evidence at crime scene and he could have been caught easily. They could have done much better...but however still a good movie...every actor did their part best. And also the movie flowed well and didn't look that patchy.

Any way next is lipstick under my burka...not sure when it will be available on Netflix.

Yami played her role well too , just it was not a lengthy one , and considering the movie was not a huge success ,I am sure they will not consider her , but she was pretty good in her role.
