What I am not understanding is if Badi Dadi read the pundits book and found out the truth why she didn't tell the family? Why did she keep quiet about this pooja and why she allowed Keerti to take part in it knowing the reason behind this pooja?

There are showing wrong to add drama to the show but this plot was not even necessary. This is not called entertainment. This is showing humiliation of others who have gone through difficult circumstances. Singhania's are not like that and what dadi bua did was malicious and intentional. If she truly cared about Naksh's feelings she wouldn't have been so selfish. She hid from her own family because she knew no one would agree to such a pooja.
