Even in BM movie, all the Maharashtrian women wore high neck blouses all the time. Having said that I will still say that the costumes in PB are really good including Mastani's. The lehenga Mastana had worn in the initial episodes (pastel pink and green one) was really beautiful and the jewelry looks authentic too.

Of course, Ishita is only doing what she's been told to do and she's doing a good job at it.

@ It's so pathetic that the CVs have to stoop to such low levels in order to gain TRPs. Don't they realize that people will actually believe that all this is true? Those who have no idea about actual history will believe that Kashi and Ruqaiya were evil, power hungry, scheming women, who didn't give two hoots about their husbands. I stopped watching JA because of this (and well many other reasons). It was absolutely disgusting to watch how such an esteemed empress was reduced to a daily soap vamp.

I'm clearly seeing PB heading the same way and I'll stop watching it too now. SLB's Bajirao Mastani was actually spot on with their portrayals of Kashi, Bajirao and Mastani. This is how it must've really happened and I was shocked that an Indian filmmaker can actually handle a love triangle like this in a mature and realistic fashion. I thought the movie was going to be all about BM but I was pleasantly surprised by how maturely they handled Kashi's role in this whole BM saga. Really kudos to SLB! 👏

PB makers should've just copied the movie! 🥱🥱 but of course they have to win the TRP war 🤢🤢

I guess all of us here in the forum are disgusted with Kashi's portrayal 🤢 But the fault lies with the makers not Kashi or even Ishita. I don't get why the first wife has to be power hungry and evil. I haven't watched JA on a regular basis but yes Ruqaiyya was unnecessarily made to look like a vamp for Jodha's benefit. Kashi has already made an ultimatum to Baji and going by that she will certainly become a vamp once Mastani makes her entry in Bajirao's life. In Kashi's case many historians have iterated on the fact that Kashi was a sweet docile housewife who had nothing to do with conspiracies hatched against Mastani but here Kashi will be heading the conspiracy group 🤢 They can take fictional liberty but to an extent they destroy the image of a person? Thats very low 🤢

They don't realize that not many are actually aware of the history but most of them have seen the movie. So even those who are not adept at history will be aware of the tale. Ruqaiyya, little was said about her n its sad that people will now believe that she was a scheming evil woman, when fact remains she was Akbar's most loved queen. I read the WU for yesterday n its already gone that way. Mastani is portrayed as a perfect woman whereas Kashi is an incompetent wife 🥱 Even by doing all this, the TRPs are not improving. What's the point? Almost everyone is vehemently complaining about this injustice done to Kashi's character but the makers have promptly decided to ignore us.

Actually even if people have watched the movie, they relate more to a TV series because they're watching it everyday. People see a movie and then they forget about it, that's not the case with a TV series. And as far as I have seen (at least on other forums not PB forum) not many people are aware of actual history. They really believe what's being shown on TV and are literally brainwashed by it. It's only some history buffs like us who actually know the whole truth.

Even if TRPs are not improving at the moment, I think the delusional CVs believe that the BM romance and marriage will definitely give them a huge boost in numbers, which actually will not happen. The same mistake was done by Contiloe in CAS. They thought by bringing in Karuvaki earlier (and I mean waaay earlier) they would get higher TRPs with the "AshWaki" romance.

They continued with the same ridiculous idea after the leap and what happened? Even a talented actor like Mohit Raina could do nothing to stop the show from going off-air because the fault was not his, it was the CVs who were digging up their own grave with their pathetic storylines and distorted portrayals of historical figures. CAS was all about AshWaki rather than Ashoka post-leap and that's why it went off-air.

I'm actually laughing at this article now:

I knew this was all BS! 🥱🥱
