Part-1

(Continued from prologue)

Next day early morning, Mihika just came from morning walk and saw Ishita coming fully ready for office from her room. She hurriedly went to her and asked,

M-Akka where r u going that to this early?

I-Factory...

M-What? But why? Any problem?

I-No.

M-Then why u r going Akka? Aapko yad hai na humhe Romi k ghar jana hai to aap please yeh factory jana cancel karo. Aap pooja ke bad chale jana. Pls.

I(smiling)-Meri bullet train, ruk jaa or meri bat to sunle. Ek order ki delivery honi hai aaj. Humhe pooja mein jana hai isiliye main abhi jaakar sab settle karne jaa rhi hu. Okay. Kya agar ab aapki permission ho to mai jaau?

M-Of course Akka. And u know what, U r the best.

Mihika hugged her tight and then Ishita left for factory.

At the other side, Raman and Romi woke up early and started the remaining preparation of Pooja. At 8am, Romi left for airport to receive their parents. At about 9am, Romi was back with his parents. Raman greeted them welcomed them. Mr and Mrs Bhalla were so happy and proud of their children that finally after a long hard work their sons bought and build their own house in Delhi. They were happy to see the decorations and all preparations as all done. They didn't waste much time to see the whole house as they had already saw it and it was as per their choice only because Raman and Romi took their suggestions in each and every thing. Toshiji got busy in preparing Prasad as she wanted to prepare it by herself. After sometime, Panditji also came and he got busy in checking all things and preparing for Pooja. Soon their guests started coming and Mr Bhalla and Romi got busy in attending them while Raman was busy in checking if there is any mistake or problem in every arrangement and running here and there.

Romika were in contact with each other through messages. Both informed about Ishita and Bhallas to each other. Both were nervous also as they will tell everything about them to his parents.

Ishita also came back from factory and both got ready in Anarkalis. Soon both reached to Bhalla house. Ishita was impressed with the decorations as it was simple and beautiful, there was nothing like show off. Both went inside only to see Mr and Mrs Bhalla were at the entrance attending guests. Mihika got nervous as Romi told her that he will be at entrance to handle his parents but he was nowhere to be seen as he was struck inside with his friends. Ishita assured her and both went. Mr and Mrs Bhalla were confused as they didn't know them when Ishita started,

I-Namaste.

Mrs Bhalla-Namaste puttar. Maaf karna puttar par humne tum dono ko pehchana nhi. Kon ho tum dono?

I-Mera nam Ishita hai, Ishita Iyer...

Before she could complete, Mr Bhalla interrupted,

Mr Bhalla-Ishita Iyer, Iyer textile industry ki owner, jahan Romi as a manager kam karta hai.

I-Ji.

Mr Bhalla-Oh, andar aao na puttar Vaise yeh tumhare sath kon hai?

I-Yeh meri choti bahan hai, Mihika Iyer.

Mr Bhalla-Ha vo Raman k sath kam karti ho na tum.

M-Ji.

Mrs Bhalla-Bhot hi pyaari bachiyan hai. Aaja puttar andar aao.

Mrs Bhalla took them inside and told Romi to take care of them and left. Mihika got relieved while now its Romi's turn to get nervous in front of Ishita as now she knows about Romika. Romi was not able to say anything and Ishita noticed his nervousness so Ishita assured both of them to be calm and normal. She was going giving them some lone time but Romi stopped her seeing Raman coming towards them,

R-Wait Ishita ji. Let me introduce u with my Raman Bhai.

I-Ok.

M-But vo hai kaha?

Ro-There he comes.

Romi signalled towards their back side to Raman and both Ishmi turned where Raman came to them giving his dimpled smile at them. Romi introduce,

Ro-So Ishita ji, he is my Bhai, Raman Kumar Bhalla, RKB and Bhai, she is my boss, Ishita Iyer, Ishita ji.

Ishra shook their hands smiling but Raman's smile got vanished hearing Ishita and thought,

I-Hlo Mr Bhalla.

R(st)-What??? Mr Bhalla? How could she? Arey yahan senior ladies bhi mujhe subah se itne compliments de rhi hai ki kina sona lag rha hu or yeh...dikhne mein to young hi lag rhi hai, yeh young lady mujhe Mr Bhalla bol rhi hai. Isse main itna old lag rha hu kya.

He was thinking and looking at Ishita making different faces which made Ishita awkward. She was trying to take back her hand but he was not leaving her hand. Romika saw it and Romi called him slowly in his ears breaking his thoughts.

R-Hlo, Miss Iyer.

He said stressing on Miss Iyer to see her reaction but she behaved normally as it become her habit to call everyone like that professionally but it made Raman ore angry as he called her as Miss Iyer so that may be she will also feel bad and will correct but nothing happened like that. Before anyone could say, Panditji called all for Pooja. They were about to go but Raman was still holding her hand, so Romi said,

Ro-Bhai, chale?

R(little irritated)-Ha chalo.

Ro-Bhai, Jaane do na.

R-Ha to jaao maine kab roka.

Ro-bhai.

He signalled him towards his hand and in next moment Raman left her hand with little force making Ishita too confused with his behaviour and looked at him while he just went from there irritated. Romi apologized for his behaviour.

Soon all were sitting in Pooja. After a long time, Pooja ended and Mrs Bhalla distributed Prasad to all and Ishmi too helped her as she was only woman, yes there were their relatives also but mostly all were enjoying only so they thought to help her. After completing all, lunch was arranged for all. Al had their lunch and soon all guests left one by one while Romi send Ishita and Mihika to guest room for some time till they see off all the guests. After half an hour, Bhallas got free of all guests and Toshiji said,

Mrs B-Chalo ji sab kam nipat gaye.

R-nhi Maa, abhi ek kam baki hai.

Mr B-Konsa kam?

R-Romi go.

Romi left while Raman told his parents to wait. Romi brought Ishmi making Mr and Mrs Bhalla surprised as they thought they had left.

Mrs B-Tum dono yahi ho, mujhe to laga tha ki tum dono chali gayi.

R-Maa vo actually abhi ek kam hai or vo inhi se hai.

Mrs B-Konsa kam?

Ro-Vo maa papa... vo bat yeh hai ki...

Mr B-Romi aage bhi bol. Koi tension hai kya?

Ro-Nhi papa koi tension nhi haui par..

Mrs B-Par kya? Bol to sahi.

R-Arey meri pyaari maa, aap do minute shanti rakho, sab samajh mein aa jaayega.

Ro-Maa Papa, Mai Mihika se shadi karna chahta hu.

He said and looked down while Mihika was already looking down and holding Ishita's hand tightly. Ishra were just assuring Romika. After few minutes all four looked at Mr and Mrs Bhalla who were standing all shocked without saying anything.

R-Aap dono kuch bolte kyu nhi, kuch to boliye.

Mr Bhalla looked at Romi and asked again that he loves Mihika to which he nodded in yes. Then he looked at Raman and asked And u? To which raman looked confused when Mr Bhalla signalled towards Ishita if Ishra also loves each other and Ishra immediately denied. Mr Bhalla at last looked at Mrs Bhalla's shocked face and burst into laughing loudly making all four confused while Mrs Bhalla angry on him. She looked at him angrily and he tried to stop laughing but continued laughing.

Mrs B-Bhallaji hasna bandh kijiye. (turning towards four)-Or tum log, tum logo ko yeh sab Mazak lagta hai. Tum logo kya laga yeh sab humhe btaoge or hum tumhari aarti utarenge.

Mr B-Toshiji shanti. Or aapko to khush hona chahiye ki aapki kam aasan kar diya.

R-Kaisa kam papa?

Mrs B-Tu chup kar, pahle mujhe in kudiyon se nipatne de.

She went to Ishmi and said glaring at them-Tum dono kaisi ladkiyan ho. Arey aise koi shadi ki bat karta hai kya? Arey chalo mana romi to humhe bta rha hai, hum uske maa baap hai par tum dono. Tum dono apne maa baap ke bina yaha aa gayi...

R&Ro-Maa..

Mihika's eyes got filled while Ishita stoped romi,

I-Romi ek minute.

She folded her hands in front of Mr and Mrs Bhalla and continued,

I-Sorry Auntiji Uncleji, agar aap logo ko bura laga ho to jo mujhe pta hai aap logo ka gussa hona banta hai. Kisi maa baap ko bura lagega hi agar unka beta is tarah se achanak kuch karta hai to. Or rhi bat hum dono ke yahan apne amma appa ke bina aap logo se iss bare mein bat karne ke liye aane ki to Auntiji hamare parents ab iss duniya mein nhi hai, hamari family mein mujhse bada koi nhi hai. Isiliye main hi apni bahan ke liye yahan aap logo se milne aai hu. Main Romi ko thode samay mein hi sahi par ache se jaan gayi hu, itna kah sakti hu ki vo meri bahan ke liye perfect hai. Lekin meri bahan aapke bete ke liye perfect hai ya nhi ye aapka faisla hoga.

Al eyes got filled while Ishita hugged Mihika tight to console her. Mrs Bhalla said folding her hands,

Mrs B-Main bhi sorry puttar, mujhe nhi pta tha ki tumhare maa baap nhi hai, Mazak Mazak mein maine tum dono ko bhot dukhi kar diya. Mujhe maaf kar de puttar. Or rhi bat Mihika ko pasand karne ki to vo to hum dono kabka kar chuke.

She said smiling making Romika and Ishra confused and shocked. All were looking at them shocked when Mr Bhalla said,

Mr B-Toshiji ne tum dono ko kabka pasand kar liya tha, arey vo to tum dono k ghar tak jaane vali thi. Par tum logo ne pahle hi bta diya ki Romi aur Mihika ek dusre ko pasand karte hai, to isiliye Toshiji thodi gussa go gayi thi ki tumne unke plan par pani pher diya or Mazak mein tum dono ko dat rhi thi par.. Sorry putar.

Ishmi-Its ok.

R-Kya aa bekar mein sabki band bja di.

Mrs B-Tu to chup hi kar.

R-Kya maa jabse chup hi kara rhi ho.

Mrs B-Tu hat pare. Aaj main bhot khush hu mujhe meri dono bahu mil gayi.

She said making Ishra shocked.

Ro-Arey maa yeh kya bol rhi ho. Sirf Main or Mihika pyaar karte hai.

Mrs B-To ki hoya, Ishita ko main pasand kar rhi hu apne Raman puttar k liye. Kyu Ishita Puttar tyujhe koi problem hai?

I-Sorry auntyji par mujhe shaadi nhi karni hai. Meri life mein in sab cheezo k liye koi jagah nhi hai. Aap aisa mat sochiye ki mai aapke bete ko reject ar rhi hu, Mr Bhalla is very intelligent and hard working person but I'm not interested. Aap log samajh rhe hai na...

Mr B-Koi nhi puttar, tumhari life hai, Tumhe jo acha lage vo karo.

R(thinking)-Abhi bhi Mr Bhalla. Or upar se mujhe na bhi bol diya, yeh to meri insult pe insult ho rhi hai, unintentionally hi sahi but insult to hui. Is Miss Iyer ko to main bta kar rahunga ki kisi ko aise hurt hota hai.

He was so busy in thinking that he didn't even know that Ishmi left from there. Mr and Mrs Bhalla tried to stop them but Ishita said that they must be tired and they should go and Bhallas invited them for dinner tonight. Ishita gave Romi offto spend time with his parents. Seniors bhallas also left and Romi saw Raman lost and thought what's wrong with him today. He broke his trance and then Raman realised that he is lost from long time. Romi asked but Raman told that he is just thinking of something.
