11/08 Episode Discussion!!

Hey there all the lovely people!!
Although todays episode doesn't demand a post, but here is a tiny one.

One meets people, see people and with time people turn into friends, relatives each person with a different name. One has no control on whom we meet and click with. Kanak found her mother in kaushalya Maa, the one who couldn't talk nor gesture but understood Kanak in silence. And in silence their bond grew. It's the irony of life that where hundreds of words can't build relationships, there kaushalya maa silence has built an unbreakable bond with Kanak.
--Irony again that Kanak can hear kaushalya's silence but not Uma's. Kanak cries her heart out, how she is going forever. How she wants to be with her forever. -- the way is in front of her, but as ever Kanak couldn't see that she has no control on the effect she has had on the people in that family. She got love, scolding, rules and respect, a different array of relations but all that remains in shadow of her motive the shop. It's not that she is doing it intentionally, it's just her attention is focused totally on the shop.
Kanak says her final goodbye to everyone, it's emotional, touchy but inevitable. Kanak did something for everyone, but forgot Uma. He stood there watching her hug Massi and shiv, saying goodbye, he couldn't take his eyes off her. The way he said " she forgot him" brings out his state of mind. That how hurt he is, while she was busy with rest of the her relationships, she forgot him as her husband or even as a human being. He always felt left out by Kanak, and today that got voiced. His silence is right in front of Kanak, but she is unable to understand it.

His one wrong and their differences overpower anything and everything else for Kanak. She also believes that he doesn't want the real Kanak...she can afterall be replaced by her photo. He doesn't need or want her. He needed to be there for her not just in silence, but act n gesture. So his silence is inaudible. From her perspective what has he done...given her rules galore n tried to change her. Maasi n shiv have showered her with love. Even maasa with her own silent communication has conveyed love to her. Has Uma done anything of the kind other than some seaside romance n the necklace?

He needs to prove himself. Y test is only for wife...what makes UmaShankar a worthy husband?

Indeed Uma's original sin weigh heavier than all his goodness. Their differences playing against them all the more. I just drew a parallel between the silence of Uma and kaushalya. How words and silence have their effect.
Yes Uma has to prove himself worthy of deserving Kanak. He needs to break his shell and silence and let himself be known, but it's still a long way.
"I am not dasi, Lakshmi, dharitri... I am Kanak" this came after soo long in their journey. A journey in which they are together but not with each other.

I love the phrase "his silence is inaudible" --- exactly he just gave her a set of rules and his time table. When did he travel out of his comfort zone till date. Being in Pushkar is going to be game changer.

Did he really say she forgot about him? I read the sadness on his face but i didn't get he voiced it somehow.

Thank's God tomorrow he will find the reason he couldn't be loved!

Today he looked like an unarmed soldier in the middle of the fire.

What can be more painful than love wounds?

He didn't say "forgot" but said that she didn't get time for him. It's more or less on the same lines as 'forgot him'. But I rewatched the episode and found out that he said, she was busy with others that she didn't have time for him.
He is angry, hurt and lost, unarmed as to what caused all this, but he has to burn for he is the sun. For he himself is not innocent in this war.
Indeed love hurts and hurts real bad, but is it love as of yet. At the first step of loss would Uma have us melted like wax. It's a long winding way.

His silence always disappointed her. Whenever she wanted support atleast moral support all she got was silence or indifference. Others earned that love and care be it Shiv, Saras Maassa or Massisaa.. Uma's crime his silence weigh more than his positivity.
