Ok... watched the episode twice... This is one of the best episodes in the recent times..so couldn't hold myself back from posting this. The episode is a roller-coaster of emotions and platonic relationships.
Many fans liked the episode but still some have issues with SSO and some with Annika at some point or the other.
For me, this is perfectly balanced episode between the main characters of IB (ofcourse missed Om).
COming to the episode:
1) Pinky Ru: I loved how Rudy did partial OMM of pinky. Yesterday we were discussing in the thread why no one puts into Pinky's face when she goes on ranting Shivaay mera beta hai. And today we got it from Rudy. Pinky (don't know if she really loves or hates Shivaay, or she wants him in her life only to to have a status) shows concern and asks rudy if there is any news regarding shivaay. I loved how he gave a smirk at pinky's concern for Shivaay. He rightly said if she wants to show rights of a mother then first she should fulfil a mother's responsibility. No one can form a home by breaking the home.
2) AniRu: I always shipped AniOmRu. And AniRu are love. Inspite of going through an inner turmoil abt his elder brother, he shows his concern towards his bhabi. Tries to cheer her up bringing pari and his birthday party in between their talk. They both are trying to hide their emotions and trying to put a brave front so that the other don't get troubled. At the end, Annika's thanks and the way she caressed his face and wiped his tears shows their relation. Bhavya at a distance witnesses the same. Bhavya also have some serious issues, insecurities like Annika.
3) AniRi: Only one word...Sisters by heart. Gauri trying to make Annika rebuilt the faith in herself and god. Although Annika is not convinced at first she decides to do it, when Gauri takes the name of Shivaay.
4) ShiVika: I felt the whole Annika running from mandir to the main door too dramatic. Mandir is in the ground floor and she comes running from first floor. Ok.. I know should not ask or look for logic in serials... Apart from that, I got ShiVika feels before forced separation. Annika is very vulnerable and through her minced words, shaking voice, flowing tears she said she was wrong in her doings. She accepted she made mistake in her tadi, and almost gave him that she is doing everything in her tadi and she doesn't want it in between them. Shivaay just keeps staring or should I say gauging her thoughts or emotions.
5) Shiv Saahil: i love their bond. EVen though problems exist between ShiVika, Saahil always remain very close to both of them. Even before the lapse, we discussed it how Saahil will be the only one connection and thread between ShiVika holding them together. Shivaay assured him everything is going to be alright. With his dialogue, he not only made Saahil but also me, very confident that everything will be set right by the Great Wall of SSO with a plan up his sleeve. Now i'm going to enjoy the drama with popcorn everyday.
6) ShiVika: Ughh... i loved their conversation in room. Finally they are talking the facts and issues after playing tadi game and farak game after a long time. Shivaay is adamant to know the truth and Annika to hide it. He even said everything will be stopped and handled if she speaks up the truth. While Annika went to an extent questioning him if he can't trust her again without knowing the truth.
Shivaay's words regarding the blind trust he had on Annika in the past might not have gone down well with all the viewers. But seriously, put yourself in his shoes and think. He trusted her all the times except for Pinky issue. And i think Annika also doesn't blame him for not trusting her regarding pinky. I'm married and from my personal experience, I learnt that even when the husband trusts you blindly in each and every matter, he will not show same trust when it comes to his parents and siblings. Almost all the married people over here, will definitely agree with me. And the same happened here with ShiVika. I'm not saying this holds true in everyones life but yes in most of the cases it does. Atleast this is a show, and we can hope for OMM of pinky. And once he comes to know her true colors, he will be taken on a guilt trip.
The words about relationship are very true. It's two people in a relationship. And they were good going with it. But suddenly everything changed, he got manipulated, he was hit on his weakest point, his brothers; most importantly Om, who once was a drug addict and had suicidal tendencies. I'm sure that was what going on in Shivaay's mind when Om's illegitimacy truth was brought forward infront of the media.In their relationship, i always felt Shivaay expected Annika to act as another SSO for the family and esp his brothers. That's the reason he keep saying she should have kept in mind that she is Mrs.SSO before doing this drama. With the drama, he turned to a protective brother and lost his cool and just in the spur of the moment threw the divorce papers and Annika out of the house. These marks can't be erased from the memory easily as Annika said. Coming back, it's his right to know what made this so called perfect and beautiful relationship to break. He knows there is a reason, a reason so big, that it made her to ruin it with her own hands. If u r in his place, would u not try to find out the so called big reason? You definitely will. But here, he is trying to find out directly from her.
Shivaay knew Annika never moved on from him or their relationship but still he is pushing her to the extremes so that she breaks down and comes up with the truth.
Ugghhh... Feel like banging my head.
I'm not taking anyones side... i'm just putting my views down.. So no chamelis and no bashing... ShivIka are both right and wrong at different instances. They should work together regarding trust issues, insecurities and make the relationship a perfect one.
7) Saahil Annika: The cute bonding and him pointing out the similarities between Shivika, doing anything for their loved ones, and the reverse rakhi scene is heart touching.
8)ShivRi: I shipped them since DBO days when gauri was playing chulbul. And then mahasangam episode, where shivaay walked in with Gauri declaring her the Obahu. Even during lapse, we had seen their bond when shivaay comforts a broken Gauri due to Om's coma condition and Shivaay assuring that Gauri's baby will be safe during fake pregnancy track. And today I loved them more. Shivaay is always brother goals since the start of the show. GAuri tying Rakhi to Shivaay and he promising and assuring her that she will find a place in Om's heart is so endearing and heart touching. I'm not talking about conversation abt Shivika as this has become a ghissa phitta conversation now.
Again...no chamelis no bashing...
