Oke... now episode...nope no filler...just the beginning of the much awaited conversation/ confrontation ...The build up is good..Payal did her work ...US didn't found his papers and concluded that Payal told the truth...which is the case...

Kanak : she never considered US her husband and never accepted him...so al this time she is staying with a guy, sharing an bed, keeping her izzat intact, bounding with his family...and still doesn't know and trust the guy...she can't think beyond the shop and his wrongdoings...

Meena and the truth...why do ppl consider other ppl weak...not being able to handle the truth...all our life's we fall and stand up to fight again...same goes or meena...who made so many mistakes and still is standing strong... she would have handled this situation more mature then how bhabo and vikram did...

Hey there

I don't think nakedness coming tomorrow, tomorrow he is dressed in red seeing red 😆

Payal just put the dominoe effect in order. Someone had to do so, why not Payal.

Kanak and Uma have their share of mistakes misinformation misunderstandings. That's M3... it is what it is. Well what Kanak concluded today was a direct opposite of what she said to Vansh "character ka pakaa hai" whenever you see nothing beyond him how does one say or negate character ka Paka hai. -- this jalebi is way tooo twisted. Leaving it and moving on.

Everyone thinks that they themselves are super humans. And rest are just weakling who can't bear the truth. Truth is never easy. Saying or hiding both ways. After such a long time meena comes to know who pawan is -- how does she take it. Is her present break down any different from the past had it been revealed earlier. No --it's going to hurt all the more. Her hatred her guilt would consume her. She would get to start fresh but still her actions committed in ignorance would stand in front of her. Yes meena sayani would have handled things much more better.

I feel story is finally moving, I like Meena- pawan tract.. it will be good to know who is father of Pawan? If its Aditya will Uma accept him?
High time for Uma to know truth. Lots of drama on in coming week..

Hi Blue, Nice analysis.
They did cram 2 revelations in one episode and somehow I felt both lost some impact. Those should have been in separate episodes. Bhabho has always made unilateral decisons. Often those have resulted in making her daughters in law suffer. Being a mother herself she should have known that a woman can withstand anything related to the children. She always rises up to anything that Is thrown at her and becomes their champion. But the pain of infidelity is something far greater and soul shattering. She made Meena go through that terrible pain for 5 years. She thinks that she sacrificed being away from Bhabhasa. He is right there in front of her, still worshipping her. What about separating her son and daughter in law who loved each other and who were in their prime? What about that little boy who lived in fear? I feel bad for Bhabho for the loss of Suraj Sandhya but that pain is the same for everyone else in the family too. Other than that, Bhabho glorification is very much unwarranted. She has always sub consciosly chosen to inflict pain on her children. SurYa always paid heavily for her so called love. Now Meena and Kanak too.

Uma, true, his bubble is bursting. He now has to face his demons. His actions that have caused reactions. He has to broaden his horizons now from Ladnu to Pushkar at least. Kuve ka mendak has to take a leap outside of his comfort zone and face the uncomfortable truth. If he is the Raja of Ladnu, Kanak is no less in pedigree. Her parents were the pride of Rajasthan if not the nation. He feels betrayed but this would be the test of his love, if that is what he feels for Kanak. Can he harm sandhya's daughter, who saved so many lives throughout her career? It would be a test of his character too. On a side note, I feel Uma's smile is much more charming than his shirtlessness. Suraj and Sandhya had what we called a million dollar, & billion watt smiles combination. I still remember the first time Sandhya smiled openly after their reunion at the bus accident. It was like the sun had come out and Suraj could not take his eyes off of her. Sorry to lapse into nostalgia but I still miss them. They exemplified the diya baati concept. I hope Uma and Kanak can live up to it.

I really enjoy how well-constructed the screenplay and structure of TSMSP is.
On one level I can reflect on how Sooraj and Sandhya would have handled a problem. E.g. Sooraj - well he would never impose his will on anyone, as for Sandhya - she would have picked the legal way of addressing a crime, such as fraudulent signing of shop papers.

However neither is Uma Sooraj nor is Kanak Sandhya. They've both been crafted the way they are to tell a different story.

To me, this is a story about someone who refuses to drink the Kool-Aid but is forced due to circumstances to deal with the delusional people who have brought it and keep selling it on like it's the best thing since sliced bread 😆

Said person has her own flaws too ofcourse and that's what hinders her efforts at being entirely effective. Case in point - Kanak keeps losing moral high-ground in Uma's eyes, e.g. impulsive decision to lace his jalebis with alcohol, lying about the reason she is doing the test, etc.

This keeps giving Uma the chance to dismiss her POV, devise his own tests, and have them reaffirm his own ideas about dharmic rules and signs from the Gods. E.g first he says Kanak doing the Rambha test is a sign from god that the forced marriage was meant to be, now he says Kanak doing the Rambha test will be a sign he is not a true devotee of Lord Shiva... and obviously she won't go through with the test, but this has nothing to do with how much of a bhakt he is or not.

This logical fallacy in Uma Shankar's thinking won't be resolved for a long while...I just hope the writers have thought of a clever enough way to break to Uma Shankar that his way of seeing signs and acting on them needs serious reexamination. For that to happen Kanak as a character will need to overcome her own flaws and develop major credibility so when she tries to disprove his ideas about dharam it actually goes through to him.

Back to the clever screenplay bit - Meena and Uma finding out the major truths in juxtaposition with each other was a neat idea. Both feel betrayed, hurt, and a bit of a fool right now. And objectively speaking in both cases there were better ways of doing things than hiding the truth. Kanak confronting Uma Shankar directly about the shop may have lead to him giving her information that would have clarified matters for her. Meena being told about Pawan directly would have saved the family years of heart ache. However the ones holding the truth opted for a different route and the story lies in the fallout here onwards.

@Deebz - thank you for such a wonderful elaborate comment.
I don't think I can actually add anything to it. It sums it all

As for Bhabho taking unilateral decisions, she has been like this for a very very long time now. But the importance of her decision is always undermined because she herself is compromised as a an emotional being. Her grief for Suraj Sandy overpowers everything else. Be it her decision making power or love for rest of the family. In anything and everything Suraj and Sandy are being unnecessarily dragged. As for when Vedansh confronted her about pawan truth she was all Gaga about sacrifice Suraj Sandy made, I understand it's irreplaceable loss but undermining everything below who have left for the heavenly abode is just not having moved on. She is still stuck in that phase of grief.

Uma definitely is a mendak. Happy sad and heartbroken in his pond Ladno.
Let's not bring in the pride and ego of who is who. But yes as a human being they do need to realize the importance of self and the other in a different light. Kanak has been out of her comfort zone flailing like a fish but her underlying purpose has somehow made it a bit less important, her hard work honestly turned to cheating and lying.
But yes Uma does need to give test of his worthiness to be Kanak's husband. He can't be let off the hook just like that.
