I made a last ditch attempt n made a comment on Sony's channel on YouTube. After this am done with this show. I will stop watching it from next week onwards I guess. Not sure.

It is sad to see Kashi being vilified like this.. Just to make Mastani look good they are fabricating so called strong scenes for her alongside.

Again and again Bhiu keeps saying Kashi doesn't understand her brother and I get that what Kashi said to Bhiu was wrong but maybe she is only seeing from her POV.

It's only now that Bhiu is saying so much about her life so Kashi is looking at it as frustration more than anything else.

And Baji IS rude and indifferent to his wife...I am sure they are building up to Bhiu supporting him when Mastani arrives on the scene!

It's disheartening to see Kashi destroyed just to say that Mastani is some glorious fit for Baji!

Kashi was chosen to be his wife and moulded for that role..Mastani promises to be someone who simply doesn't care about social or any other conventions.. Making one greater than the other is so unfair I have no words!

Especially for the age the show is set in, this is utter nonsense!

Why can't Baji be the one in the wrong.. Falling for another woman despite having a perfect relationship with his wife.. His father did..! No no.. Instead he had to be shown as a victim who is suffering wth a wife who doesn't understand or match him and so is perfectly justified in going after the one who does!

And that scene with Mandakini further seemed to cement this... He is in full control of himself.. He is loyal etc etc.. But he cannot help it when Mastani comes into his life because they are just meant to be! Sheer stupidity!

I actually liked the scenes where Baji's political smartness was showcased.. Those came as a breath of fresh air and at least didn't seem contrived!

And I wonder if the makers plan to not show specifically the family life and children of Baji and Kashi and simply skip to the love story!

I know its sad. Mastani who happens to be a stranger writes a soul stirring letter to Bajirao and he instantly connects with it. Her voice soothes him. All this much before they are destined to meet. Kashi who is staying with him for ten or more years cannot understand him, know his likes n dislikes. The makers have taken us for fools. Bhiu will be the first one to support Mastani 🤢 She dislikes Kashi as it is and she will support Mastani as Mastani is her bhau's amar prem 🤢

Makers just want to portray how Kashi is a misfit for Baji since their alliance was made on political grounds n Baji was forced to marry her. Bajirao is indeed shown a victim of a bad marriage and I am sure the makers will just jump ahead in time by a decade to start off Bajirao Mastani track without showing how Baji got over his awkwardness towards Kashi. I am not a huge fan of consummation tracks but they should at least show how a couple came to understand n acknowledge the other's presence in their lives n that wont happen here coz they are saving it BM track 🥱
