Neetu asks Rachna why she returned and Rachna says that she thinks she's sick. Vikram asks Birju Bai why Shradha is being noisy, and she says that she is throwing things around. Vikram tells Sanju that she will take Shradha dinner.
-Patil House: Girls Room-
Rachna's phone rings and the caller is Vivek, so she thinks that Upen sent him the video already. Rachna hesitantly answers the phone, but it turns out that Vivek called to ask about her health. Rachna says she's fine. Vivek speaks very sweetly to Rachna, which upsets her even more.
-Kul House: Shradha Room-
Sanju enters the room cautiously and sees that Shradha is sitting peacefully on the bed. Vikram stands behind her and motions her to go in, while he stands watching.
As soon as Shradha sees Sanju, she gets scared and throws stuffed toys at her. Sanju rushes to the bed, and calmly asks her to calm down. Shradha keeps making noise, so Sanju sternly tells her to be quiet.
She gently explains to Shradha that she won't hurt her. She asks Shradha not to hurt her, and then asks if she's hungry, because she (Sanju) brought food for her. Shradha says that she doesn't want to eat, but she wants to die.
Sanju starts to explain that dying is easy but pointless. We already have short lives, and so much to do, so why waste it. (Vikram is still standing outside and watching all this) Sanju explains to Shradha that time is like the sand on a beach. Shradha is listening to all this intently, so Sanju brings the topic back to food. She points out to Shradha that she had made Shradha's favourite Bhindi (Okra).
Shradha asks if Sanju knows. Sanju says that she also knows a lot of other things, but for this, they have to create love. Sanju says that every day she will come to Shradha's room with dinner and they will chat a lot.
Sanju give Shradha a bite to eat, and Shradha eats it, to Vikram's surprise. Sanju hands Shradha the plate and tells her to eat like a good girl. Shradha starts eating quickly, so Sanju says that she must like the food a lot.
Sanju then half turns towards Vikram, with a slight smile, who walks away.
-Foyer-
Mrs. K is praising Sanju. She says that it's unbelievable. Shradha has never trusted a stranger before. Sanju says that maybe Shradha recognized her from that once before. Mrs. K says that Sanju has made her think about the possibilities now. She adds that even Vikram (Mr. Khadoos Karela himself) admitted that after a long time, Shradha ate all her food without being shouted at.
Sanju asks about Vikram, who comes down the stairs just then. He tells Sanju to call him and tell him about Rachna because he knows a very good general physician is need be.
-Patil House-
Sanju enters her room, where Rachna is standing and crying. Sanju asks about her health. Then she starts to joke that Vikram believed neither her, nor Neetu and he was about to launch detectives.
Sanju asks Rachna what's wrong, and Rachna, irritated and disturbed, asks Sanju to leave her alone. Rachna's phone rings and both of them are shocked. Rachna rushes towards the bed, but Sanju stops her and gives her a stern look. Sanju asks her what the problem is, and who's calling. Then she picks up Rachna's phone and answers it.
Upen is on the other side and he starts to tease Sanju, thinking she's Sanju. He says that she still didn't lose her habit of making him wait. He says that it's good she answered the phone, because her video was going to Vivek and Vikram via MMS soon. He asks if his Rs. 10 000 are ready.
Sanju asks Rachna what's going on. Then she asks Upen who he is. Upen in turn asks Sanju who she is. Sanju announces herself to be, Sanjana Pushpa Patil, Rachna's older sister. She asks him again about his identity and what he was talking about.
Upen is gleeful and says the she's the great Sanjana Pushpa Patil, author of "Pyaar, Mohobbat and all that". He tells her that he loves her column. Upen says that she solves so many problems daily, and asks her if she can solve his.
Sanju says that she will solve his problem in a minute, and asks him why he's scaring Rachna and who he is. Upen says that Rachna knows him very well, and the problem is more Rachna's that his own. He tells her to ask Rachna, and says that he will call a little later, and hangs up.
Sanju locks their room's door and tells Rachna to spill out the truth, because she will not tolerate any more lies.
-Mehra House-
The doorbell rings so Karan's mom opens the door, and finds Karan and Rekha standing outside (back from their honeymoon I guess). Rekha tells Karan's mom that Karan had ordered a stretch limo for their return journey.
Karan's dad comes there and asks how things went. He asks if Karan was good to her, and Rekha shies away, making both parents happy.
-Patil House-
Rachna is crying on the floor and telling Sanju that she was really stupid to go to trust Upen. Rachna swears that this mistake happened only once. She says that she didn't know Upen would turn out like and she curses herself that by this one mistake, she's ruined her whole future.
Sanju tells her not to worry, nothing will happen. She tells Rachna that she did make that one mistake, but Upen will have to repent for it.
Rachna says that after that day, Upen never contacted her. She hated herself for what she did. Sanju says that Rachna didn't even try telling her once. Rachna says that she was too ashamed of herself to tell anyone anything.
Rachna pleads with Sanju to save her from Upen. She says that she loves Vivek and can't live without him. And she says that if Neetu and Prakash find out, they will never forgive her. She asks Sanju to do something, save her from Upen.
Sanju hugs Rachna and assures her that she will do something, and no one at home will find out. We freeze on Sanju's worried face.
