About half an hour later at Siddhant's friend Rahul's place. Sid thinks for a moment before he pours a drink for him and drops ice cubes in to it. He's still hesitant to pick it up and gulp it down his throat. Rahul watches him closely and slowly slides away the glass from him in response to which Sid looks up at him confused. "Don't begin unnecessary habits... you don't need it...' asserts Rahul. "Why don't I need it Rahul...Of course I need it... with all these negativities around me, I think only a drink can fix peace in my messed up brain...' states Siddhant as he remembers the unpleasant incident that happened a while ago. "You can liberally feel bad, but I will definitely say this...You definitely deserve a slap right now...' says Rahul as he gulps the drink that Sid had poured for him. Sid looks at Rahul as if he has seen some ghost while he just smiles gulping the drink. "I can't get you Rahul...' says Sid as he is yet to comprehend Rahul's point. "This is your problem Siddhant..You really can't understand anything...Even the simplest things...' says Rahul with a smirk. Sid's face goes red remembering Roli accusing the same. "Don't talk immaturely like Roli do Rahul...' says Sid as he leans on the couch. "Oh so Roli is immature?' questions Rahul. "Of course yaar...She's very very immature...She's still having that small village thoughts inside her... if your husband holds another girl's hand or be friendly with her; confirm it, he's being infidel; that's her policy...' says Sid as he closes his eyes in tension. "Fine Siddhant...I understand it...but was it just holding a hand that happened in the photoshoot?' questions Rahul as he sits up straight. Sid looks unpleasantly at Rahul clearly showing he's not liking his questions. "No!!! I agree, the photoshoot was a bit daring...but only a bit...There's nothing in that to howl and cry so much...After all, it's just reel life, not real life...' replies Siddhant for the sake of doing it. "maybe Siddhant...but let me ask you; did you ever think from Roli's perspective?' asks Rahul. "No...why should I even think like her? She's just being stupid and over possessive...Just that...' says Sid as temper builds up in him. "You should think Siddhant...you should definitely think...Roli has lived with you for the past one year...In the initial months she was alone at your home there in Delhi; did she complain? No...she adjusted with all that...And after being here, in Mumbai too, she always lived as you prefer...no complaints...no riots...Remember, all these are not my findings , you yourself said all these to me...' says Rahul. Sid's features soften as he hears Rahul. He obviously knows that Rahul is right. "you're right Rahul..She had adjusted a lot for me..i mean a lottt...and that's why it troubles me so much...I never expected her to accuse me for just doing photoshoot..It's my profession yaar...She knew it even before marriage that I love my work and how much struggles I have gone through to inscribe my name in the industry...' says Sid as his eyes gets moist. "I agree Siddhant...it's your profession but did you forget that she's your wife? That she loves you over anyone in this world?' questions Rahul. "I know Rahul and even I love her like crazy and that's the reason why her accusation hurts me so much..I'm living for her na? Then why doesn't she understand me?' ask Sid as he hits his fist on the couch. Rahul listens him patiently and then opens the video quietly. "Siddhant...look here...' he demands. Sid though upset, obeys Rahul. "Do one thing...Just imagine this..In Lara's place, it's Roli and in your place, it's some random guy...' he orders. "what??? why should I ever think like that Rahul?' asks Siddhant all shocked. "Just do it...' orders Rahul. Siddhant just closes his eyes and tries to visualize it but finds himself instantly distracted. The thought itself is so disturbing; so painful. He opens his eyes and nods in negative. "fine...then imagine Roli ruffling that guy's hair like Lara did with you...' says Rahul with a smirk. "No!!!! I can't think like that...' shouts Sid going all red. "Why??? Why Siddhant? Why can't you just think so?' questions Rahul trying to hide his smile. "No..i can't think so..' repeats Sid. "Why???' questions Rahul again. "Because she is only mine dammit!!! No one else can touch her!!!' shouts Sid. He sits hiding his face in his palms whilst Rahul smirks. "There...there is the point...Just as you imagined Roli with some other guy, you felt bad...but Roli did actually see such moments before her eyes...Yes, that was a photoshoot...but still it happened right?' ask Rahul. Slowly realization strikes Siddhant meanwhile Rahul continues. "you, a guy born and born up in a metro city felt bad when you just imagined your wife with someone else..Then what about Roli who was brought up in a small village...She actually saw you romancing other girl, though onscreen...' states Rahul. Siddhant slowly starts to realize Roli's pain, her perspective. He just remains silent. "Siddhant...I agree, she did let out all her fury on you...Didn't even agree that you're doing your profession...Threw away the sweets you brought for her in happiness..But you know what's the reason behind all these acts...Because she loves you...Loves you much more than you imagine...and may someone like me who miss all that love can make you understand all these...I used to feel angry when Shina used to fight me for similar reasons but now, only I know how much I miss her..But you're blessed enough to have Roli in your life, so I tell you buddy, don't take her for granted...' says Rahul his eyes softened up as he looks at his late wife's photo on the wall. Siddhant says nothing but just gets up and walks to the door. "Siddhant...' Rahul calls all confused. "I'm going to Roli...I want to settle all the issues between us...to promise her that I won't hurt her again...' says Sid with a smile. Rahul smiles back at him and give him a thumbs up. "All the best...' he wishes. "thanks...' replies Siddhant and walks out quickly, not able to wait to see his Roli.
