One reason that khushi never wanted marry a businessman ever was that they are most busy species on planet. All those romantic novels that showed how billionaire businessman boyfriends or husbands spending their all day wooing their girlfriends or wives were plain lie. its been three weeks but my dear husband and i have braely talked except the bear essentials or a good morning or goodnight.

He had gone to shimla for a emergency meeting and should be coming back tonight but he still is not back yet. She change the channel on her TV getting bored and there is nothing to watch. She looks at the grand clock on the wall.
12:30 am

She lays down on the couch waiting for husband and soon sleep take her in its warm embrace.

Khushi suddenly wakes up from her slumber by sudden sound.

'What was that' she thought.

Calming her fast beating heart , she stand up , picking the vase from the decorative table and makes her way to the source of sound.

She hears quick breaths of someone,than a gulping sound, coming from kitchen .

She reaches the kitchen with hush steps not making much sound.holding the vase in front of her , she barge in the kitchen to attack the intruder but what stood there shocked her to wits.

Her husband stood in the kitchen , his blazer lay crumbled on kitchen counter with the disheveled tie , shirt sleeves folded, one cookie in his mouth while one hand in the jar and other holding the milk bottle in his hand. He looked at me with confusing stares.

His eyes stared in mine as if trying to understand what i was doing here or

Who the hell i was.

He forgot me. He forgot that he has a wife , who lives with him. That realisation made my heart sink to deepest corner. He might not have given proof to clear her her suspicion but his look of bafflement was clear indication.

She really wanted to throw that vase and have a angry fit.what kind of husband forgets his wife. But my mother's words of being patience and control your anger comes to my mind.

Lets forgive and forget.

"Are you hungry? I will heat up the food."

I made my way to him , his eyes and mind still trying to place me about who i am.

"I think AS YOUR WIFE i do have the right to cook food for you."

I say the words in high pitch to get it clear to his head. His eyes brightens with the realization. He leaves the jar and milk bottle and step back to leave.

"Thats ming dynasty vase, its an antique don't break it ever." Arnav says taking the vase from my hand.

"I used it for protection. I thought some thief has entered the house." She defended herself.

"There are 10 security guards , 1000 of security camera for protection. You don't need to go all superwomen, Wife!" He said and left to sit in the living room. I hear him surfing the tv channels and take big sigh of relief.

Awkward!

After 15 minutes , khushi serve food to her husband on table in front of the couch and watch her husband eat all of it at the speed of lightning.

He was really hungry. She felt sad at how hard he is working day and night. But he really needs to take care of having food at the right time and also take proper rest.

Khushi laid down beside her husband who is snoring lightly. He has changed his clothes and slept the moment he hit the bed. He looked so tired.

Her heart clenched at seeing her husband look so tired , without thinking she ran her hands through his hairs and messaged his head a little.

She slept facing her husband who lay flat on his stomach , her hand on his head.

She knew than that for a girl,it is as easy as breathing to fall for her husband.

She is a practical girl , she know she has not yet fallen in love with her husband but she also knew she will someday but will he love her ever.

How will she live with a man like him , who has forgotten he had a newly wedded wife. She has read a lot about his arrogant attitude, tough nature, short temper and introvert nature. This scares her , will she have a normal married life ever.
