Chapter 2
He was making his way to his room, the wedding rituals had tired him much already. He was stopped in track by his brothers. He told them be was tired and would talk to them the following morning.
"We need to talk Shivaay!" remarked Omkara, folding his hands against his chest.
He knew he din't have an option. He sat on the couch by the pool, preparing to answer their questions.
"What's happening Shivaay?" Omkara spoke up sitting beside him. "Ever since the day your alliance has been fixed, you have been running from us, haven't spoken to us until the ten minutes before the wedding today. Is everything okay? And Anika ? I mean..." Omkara said concerned. "I just want you to be happy, Shivaay." His voice trailed off.
Shivaay smiled at his brother. Omkara had known that Anika had been in Shivaay's class during his MBA. Om and Rudra had also known their fights. The two were big ego heads and their fights were even bigger. Though Omkara quite din't understand why Shivaay was so against Anika, he had spoken to her once or twice when he had visited Shivaay at the college and she was a jaunty happy-go lucky girl.
"Bhaiya aap Khush toh hain na?" Rudra asked concerned for his elder brother.
Shivaay pulled the two closer for a hug, he was so happy to have them in life. Breaking the big he held their hands and spoke up. "I m happy! "
"But..' Omkara asked confused.
Shivaay sat up straight, " Alright ...this is complicated,...I knew Anika from last two years of college...and after college ...We had different ways until an year after graduation, I met her again."

Finally, the idiot was opening up about his relationship with her instead of running away. The college...Well that's when I had cast my first ever spell. But instead of falling in love they grew enemies. Each ever ready to pounce upon the other. I waited for two whole years in hope that they would eventually fall for each other, they were far from that. Then I undid my spell exactly at their graduation, and they had different paths until an year later , The Cupid Strikes Again. *winks.

"That means you met her again after 1 year of graduation...to fight?" Rudra exclaimed dumbfounded.
"Shut up Rudra! Strange enough but she landed up as my personal assistant. I mean the recruiter got confused and gave the job to her, the interviews had been taken by Mishra and I had taken the interview of two short listed, but destiny had other plans, something went wrong and Anika got the job.
" Oh My God...!" Rudra exclaimed realising something. The other two looked on baffled. "O...this is it!" Omkara looked on confused while Shivaay turned from Rudra to Om, trying to fathom what was happening.
"Arey O...remember, a year or so after graduation Bhaiya used to be to busy in office, used to come home late. Leave early in mornings . Rudra raised his brows implying his meaning across to Omkara. Shivaay sat tight-lipped.
Omkara got the reference. " O yes. " his eyes shined with realization. The two turned to Shivaay for confirmation and elaboration. Shivaay sighed, "its nothing of that sort. But yeah...we did have ...an...affair... I mean...it was..." He groped for words, to explain to them the complicated situation, it of course wasn't a normal affair.
"Bas Bhaiya, We got it...! No wonder Bhaiya agreed for an arrange marriage to a middle class girl so fast ...!" Rudra exclaimed excitedly.
"Nothing of that sort alright, I mean First. I din't know the girl was Anika..." The two looked questioningly. "I hadn't seen the details mom had given me, you all liked her so I said a yes, and after the Tia drama I really din't want another of similar sort. "
"Secondly, I agree we were attracted and stuff but it was quite trivial and baseless...I mean it happens...I mean...ho gaya...'
" pyaar?" Omkara asked stifling a smile.
"No...!It wasn't that... Just mere attraction nothing beyond." Shivaay informed genuinely. Omkara and Rudra now looked on even more confused. "And after an year she was transfered and that's it...until...!"
"Until?" Both his brothers exclaimed bewildered.
"Until an year after that we met again!" Shivaay completed, he knew this was coming. Their shocked expressions were totally something he expected.

I giggled at the animated reactions crossing the faces of the three men. Yes, that's the second time I cast my spell. I brought them together, it took so much efforts to muddle up the papers and exchange the secretary's file with Anika's. And she was finally in a bond to work under Shivaay. I had assumed of would be the perfect Office Love Story. Sad enough for me the two were only attracted to each other, nothing else. My spell had backfired again! Nevertheless I waited for another two years just in case they would fall for each other but they din't. And I couldn't let them be in that lust and attraction forever, so I undid my spell. Ahaa, I clearly remember that day. But If I was to bring them together I had to let them part, to see of there were signs of love. O detected none. Perhaps at time I was too naive to understand. Let's go back to them.

"Met Again!?" The two voices shook in shock. "Yea" Shivaay sighed itching how forehead.
"Then..?" Rudra asked out of curiosity.
"We became good friends!" Shivaay shrugged.
Omkara blinked in bewilderment. "Shivaay Are you okay?because your trick isn't working. What kind of stupid story is this? Agar Kahaani banani hii thii toh realistic toh banta." He patted his brothers shoulder.
"This is no story this is the truth! Why will I lie to You Both.? Besides, you remember Three years back when Ranas had tried sabotaging our company? It was Anika who told me this and helped me, I mean she worked for Rana's then and when she came to know of his evil cheat plans, she came up to me and helped Mr out of the mess. "
Rudra sat down amazed. "From all this one thing is clear!' He said thoughtfully.
The other two looked questioningly.
" that...you guys were Meant To Be. I mean so many coincidences ...aisa sab ki lie mein nahi hota hai!" Rudra completes smiling.
Omkara smiles, "I agree..! But...Why did you let her go after that?" He frowned at his brother.
"I din't have a reason to stop her" he shrugged casually.
"Then you are the biggest idiot on earth!" Omkara gave a dramatic smile.
Rudra, "O...we need to let Bhaiya go...he is paraya Dhan now...he has a wife waiting for him..!"
Shivaay rolled his eyes. "Shut Up Rudra!"
"O waise ek baat clear hai. Bhaiya Bhaabi Ki Love Express Ulte Direction Mein Jaa Rahi Hai..! Ab dehko arrange marriage mein kya hota hai ..
Step 1- Shaadi,
Step2-Dosti
Step 3-Attraction
Step 4-Jhagdaaa .! " he snorted.
Bhaiya toh ulte direction mein jaa rahe hain!' He added.
Omkara chuckled giving Rudra a high-five.
"Good Night Guys!" Shivaay sighed tired of everything including their teases.
"Good Night Bhaiya..! All the Best!" Rudra exclaimed, as both burst into laughter.
Shivaay paused and turned to glare at him. Shaking his head he left.

Coincidence Really? If only these human knew us. Of course it was me who made Anika find out about Rama's plans. Oh, But That's what humans call Coincidence. #laughs.
Yeah that was my third try. It dint work, as well, I frown. It was a close call though they became friends, real good friends, working as the team. But they din't cross the thin line between Friendship and Love. I sigh.
But the special spell ...! That's the most beautiful thing that's happened. Let's go to their room and see what happened after that.

I was going to slowly reveal the past but Then the next part wouldn't be that much understandable...!
