What's up with the lame trip/catches?

So I know this is a Gul show and all with it's endless list of cliches but Shivika for the most part haven't been made to succumb to those cliches as much and their story wasn't built on random contrived trip/catches...so what's been happening off late? LOL are the writers out of ideas?

Out of practically NOWHERE, Anika just slips...khadi khadi hi slip ho jaati hai😕😆...they don't even bother making the tripping halfway believable just cuz they want to do that cliched pose and a 5 minute long dragged out eyelock? I could live with the Monday trip/catch cuz it still had intensity to it vis a vis their expressions and it wasn't dragged on for a full five minutes...but what was this dinner date trip/catch? They made Anika fall in such a super contrived manner and then dragged on the trip/catch for so long? For what? To show the full panoramic view of the decor around them? 😆

Where are the Shivika who once TROLLED these cliches? The Anika who used to mock the cliche of "aap meri kalaayi marodenge aur humara moment ho jaayega"? Us Anika ko they are now showing just falling around without rhyme or reason like the ULTIMATE cliched "heroine"? Doesn't suit Shivika...I'm surprised that Shivaay hasn't mocked her for this yet cuz it's so freakin random how they make her fall even for the sake of so called "romance".

Just commented in another thread why don't they make comment her slipping all the time.😆 Shivika style me bhi karsakte hai. Only relief in such scenes is they don't start playing some 90s song.😆

Haha I actually loved the yesterday's dinner one. The way Shivaay was taadhoing Anika 😳 It made her nervous so she slipped 😆 And the cinematography was heaven

But agreed they are making it soo frequent. Looks like Rudy ka "RK pose" wala comment seriously lelia writers ne. The curtain one, the cake one, the Monday phone one and now dinner one. 4 RK pose moments in a month waah 😆

LOL yeah small mercies...cliched 90s song would make this all the more unbearable...O Jaana ke saath phir bhi thoda bahut tolerable tha but still all these contrived trip/catches being repeated with such frequency on Shivika don't suit them.

LOL he's given her way more "romantic" looks during his entire hormonal phase pre-seperation...tab toh kabhi itna slip nahin hui Anika😕😆...it looks pretty DUMB to show her slipping like this out of the blue...didn't look believable one bit.

You know AY, I actually have a mixed opinion on this. On one hand, this trip/fall and catch is a bollywood (by extension, desi shows) signature toh I sort of want to keep it like that 😛😆 and on the other side, like you said... I remember Annika's dialogue of daily soap (though not experienced in any other shows...but I kinda get the troll)... and absolutely LOVED the troll + badass avatar that she used to often put on so effortlessly. Of course resulting in some amazing SSO expressions (fumbling exasperated bill anyone?) 😆😆

Hahah... realise that this in hindsight became a rather pointless comment but thought I should add my own confused though process to the mix 😛😆

Haan but it was dark as well. Like I said logically its okay but the fact that they keep doing the RK pose makes it unreal 😆 I wish Shivaay teases her on this 😳

Yeah I'm not sure what you're trying to get at😕😆...That you enjoy the bollywood desi show cliche that this is? Ok then😆...I have low patience for this stuff to begin with...at the most I can tolerate it in small doses and if it's trolled then it's entertaining...yesterday was too dragged and just testing my patience.

Word! She's tripped like 4 times this week. And she never trips. Frankly Shivika are not that quintessential "eyelock" couple, so it's pretty awkward how they've suddenly changed into those cliches

At least put her in those heels from that Samar "date" episode to justify her sudden clumsiness 😆
