CDI girls winning best supporting actress

Someone please explain how they can give an award for best supporting actress award to like a bunch of girls (12 of them). How do they measure the performance of 10 against one?

That was the most ridiculous award ever given in Indian Award shows and trust me they have had some really bad awards. Example - Most searched actress on the internet.

lol it's like that time when Upen Patel was given best debutant award, with Siddharth opposing 😆

ya I don't know why they did what they did. I guess it's cuz of the movie's assets

yeah but upen winning is okay, i mean thats nothing new, giving awards to undeserving.. that happens a lot

but this time it is very very strange, even for indian award shows standards

Why couldn't they start a new category "Best ensemble cast" if they were so desperate to award those girls? 😆

I think Tisca Chopra was good and so was the lady who played Akshays MOM in Gandhi - My Father.

Also i feel sorry for these girls. They are always together and wear very unflattering dresses and stick to each other like 10 siamese twins. They also act like their respective CDI characters.

Like the Punjabi hockey player acting aggressive in real life. Why do they ahve to play the character irl as well, can't they be themselves?

They will probably have no career (collectively and individually) so they are making the most of their 15 mins of fame.

that is true... they do stick together often. If not, it's usually Vidya, Sagarika, the Punjabi girl and the oher main character who're mostly seen. They could've done with an ensemble cast award... at least Stardust could've done that since it's a new category. I mean, they had the whole "hottest producer" thing, why not a more reasonable one?

yeah i found it rediculous!! i think tisca chopra of tzp, or the lady from gandhi my father deserved it the most...i guess popularity counts as well...and they did create a biggggg dhoom wen the movie came out..

they all wanted their seperate award instead of sharing one 😆
