Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. But I dont think the hero (Saif) treated her as an object. He asked her what she wants and broke his alliance only with her consent. šŸ˜‰ Same with Chandni, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Dil Toh Paagal Hai.

And what you said was applicable for movies like KHNH. This is why Kal Ho Na Ho pisses me off. Anyways Naina would have married Rohit after a few yrs if Aman didn't do that whole drama. I didn't find it attractive one bit, heroine crying buckets while getting married and giving looks to her lover than focussing on her groom .

Movies where the third wheel were actually GREAT not to create hoopla about his obviously-not-going-anywhere one-sided love OR tried their best not to act Mahaan but act human/selfish and won our hearts - Saagar, Dhadkan, Tanu Weds Manu, Tum Bin, Rangeela, Lagaan, Mere Yaar ki Shaadi hai. šŸ˜†

Kal Ho Na Ho: Main ja raha hun isss dunia se, main kisi tarah Naina aur tumhari setting karwa dunga, ab tum meri naina ko sambhal lena, usse shadi kar lena, lekin agle har janam main Naina meri hogi.

Impressive. I must say you are quite a movie buff. Totally agree with the charity in KHNH, Aman's illness/death has no bearing to Naina's life. He shouldnt have to decide whats best for her especially when Rohit wasnt himself and just taking lessons from Aman.

Rangeela also another dimag ki dahi movie because she was pretty much a gold digger, she wasnt into Aamir only because she was bedazzled with Jackie.

To be honest I felt like Ajay was kinda calling her bluff as she knew he will come back. He was like I aint gonna win her by being hard, so must improvise and use deceit. šŸ˜† I think the same happened in Bewafaa movie? Anil plays her like a beat and then acting all guilt ridden.

Thats why I dont find it as romantic as its made to be. Yes it had some good bits but there were some major plot holes. Naina was literally made out to be some bakri who was tied from one pole to another because as some independent grown up woman living in New York she had no voice of her own.
