Very rare but it happens

one of such movies from the past is Andaz Apna Apna: disaster but known as a cult now. So much so that almost everyone who watched it in late 90s or after assumed it was a blockbuster

Which movie from recent times which turned out disaster at the BO, you think may get that cult classic status in future

can it be rangoon? saawariya? bombay velvet? jagga jasoos? err shandaar? (i hope not) or anyone else..or may be none

Lootera , it failed to make money at the BO but has been widely appreciated since then. Ranveer and Sona did a good job in the film.

Tamasha - again failed to bring in BO numbers but has been appreciated . DP as tara was ❤️

Rangoon - It was confusing in places but it was good😊

Why is Shandaar hated so much? Everybody says they didn't like it. But I did. It's not a bad movie, pretty enjoyable and the story about two sisters is also nice. I thought it was like a fairytale in parts. But, on topic, I don't think that one can ever make cult status. People just hate it.

Rangoon should not. It wasn't that good a movie.

It didn't bomb at the BO, I suppose. However, for some reason, I feel it could be Kapoor and Sons. It's hard to explain why so I'll just say it in one word: Rahul Kapoor. Though people might find this laughable.
