Anu Malik used to openely copy hit songs of South films in 90s. Bollywood made the remake of "The Gentleman", hit film from South. (A.R. Rehmaan was famous in south then but not so popular in Bollywood). It was amusing to find Annu Malik's name on Hindi song, ARR's on South version simultaneously.

Pakistani musicians unnecessarily feel, they are discriminated by Bollywood.

Copied? Yes. Discriminated? No.

Bollywood always had the same policy. Be it Pak, Bengali or South. It lifted shamelessly. Now that it has gone global and other countries have strict rules, they have started to realise. They have to pay money.

But as long as they can copy, they are happy.

At least, RD did not loose his creativity fully while copying. Though he copied Mama Mia song, there are many original features in "Mil Gaya" song. It is not 100% copy like Anu Mallik. Don't know, what is the border between copying and "inspiration".

No idea about Pak musicians's "inspiration". In the above song, we know It is Iranian 😆.
