Part 4
"You disgust me Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla.. chee" and rushed out
Tears were flowing continuously from her eyes.
From that day onwards both started to ignore each other completely. Ishita used to go for the clinic before Raman wakes up and Raman comes back from office after Ishita sleeps.
Like this two weeks passed, both tried to immerse themselves more and more in their work. Raman couldn't even face Ishita because of his guilt. Many times he decided to apologize to Ishita but he was afraid because he knew when angry he himself can't control his tongue and it may hurt her more. The thing he failed to realize was his growing feelings for Ishita.
The family too noticed that something is wrong between the newly wed. Next day was Sunday so IshRa were forced to stay back home. Ishita was working in kitchen along with Toshiji and Simmi while Mr Bhalla and Raman were watching TV and discussing some business matters. That is when Raman all of a sudden declared that there is some legal issues in their American branch so he has go there for a few months. Hearing this all were shocked except Ishita. She acted like she didn't even hear what he just told. He himself don't know why his heart pricked seeing her indifference. Everyone were showering alots of questions but his eyes were only on her. His constant gaze made her uncomfortable so she went inside in pretext was some work while the family misunderstood that she is sad because Raman is going.
"Raman tu Ishita ko bhi saath lekar jaavo" Toshiji said to her son
"Nahi maa mein vahan official kaam keliye jaa raha hum aur phir Ishita ki clinic bhi yahan hai.. let her stay here."
"Puttar aisa nahi.. woh tere bina yahan kaise??"
"Maa if you have any problem I will drop her to Iyers"
"Ye ki gaal kar rahi ho puttar woh hamari beti hai.. hume kya problem hogi if she stays here"
"Then leave it maa.. Mujhe tomorrow early morning flight hai before that mujhe office mein kuch kaam hai.. Mein aati hum bye.." and rushed to his office.
While in Bhalla house, Ishita was feeling guilty as she thought because of her her Mummyji and Papaji have to stay away from their son. Senior Bhallas were in their room discussing about IshRa and Raman's sudden business trip.
"Bhallaji jaroor Ishita aur Raman ki beech koi problem hai.. Abh hum kya karenge?" Toshiji shared her worries with Mr Bhalla
"Toshiji tussi tension chod.. Aisa kuch nahi hoga.. If there is a problem then also kuch din alag rahne se woh duno ek dusre ko miss karenge aur problem hai toh woh bhi solve ho jayega.." Bhallaji tried to calm his tensed wife
"Mujhe bohot tension horahi hai Bhallaji"
"Toshiji aap tension chodo aur sojavo"
and thus the old couple slept. Raman returned late night. He directly went to his room and saw Ishita sleeping. Raman went near her and sat on the floor and softly caressed her hair without disturbing her sleep.
"Ishita mujhe pata hai joh maine tumhare saath kiya woh bohot galt hai.. mein maafi maagne ka bhi layak nahi hum.. but mere paas maafi ke alaava kuch nahi hai.. I am sorry Ishita hosake toh maaf karde.." and went inside the washroom to get freshen up.
But unknown to him Ishita had heard everything. She opened her eyes the next second after Raman entered the washroom. She was confused, who is the real Raman, The Raman who just apologized to her seems to be very kind hearted polite, well, behaved person but the other one is very rude, arrogant, short tempered person.
Raman's self thoughts,"Ishita I'm sorry. I want to say this to you directly but jab mein tumse baat karne keliye aavungi tab tum'kuch bologi woh sunkar mein bhi kuch bolungi, and that will worsen the situation more.. So it's better I leave without saying anything to her."
When she heard the opening sound of the door she closed her eyes and pretended to be sleeping. Raman packed his things without making any noise as it will disturb her sleep.
Raman left early morning. He bid goodbye to everyone and left towards the airport. Mihir accompained him.
"Bhai aap mujhe batavo problem kya hai.. aap kyu aisa saab ko chodkar jaa rahe ho?" enquired a worried Mihir
"Mihir meine kahana aisa kuch nahi hai.. I'm good ..Tum apna dimag zyada maath chalavo samjhe" Raman tried his best to show Mihir that there is nothing wrong
They reached the airport, Mihir left after Raman went inside to check-in. Soon Raman was in his flight flying to US.
Bhalla house was unusually silent as they all were missing Raman way too much. This made Ishita even more guiltier. She made her way to the kitchen and made breakfast for them. While serving the breakfast she felt lil bit dizzy but she just shrugged it thinking it might be due to lack of rest and continued serving them. But the strong smell of ghee and everything made her even more uncomfortable. She felt nausea, she just rushed to the wash basin. This made the family even more worried.
"Kya huwa puttar? Bhallaji doctor ko bulavo" said a tensed Toshiji
"Mummyji iski koi jarurat nahi hai.. It may be due to indigestion..." before she could continue she lied in the floor holding her head unconsciously
"Simmi call the doctor immediatly" said Bhallaji taking Ishita to her room.
Soon the doctor came and checked her.
"Doctor kya huwa Ishita puttar ko.. woh teek haina?" worried Toshiji for her beti cum bahu
"Darne ki koyi baat nahi, khushi ki baat hai.. Congratulations aap dadi banne wali ho" Doctor announced
All were shocked, seeing their reaction doctor asked
"Ain't you happy that you are gonna be grandparents?"
Toshiji shared Ishu's medical history to her. Doctor advised them to bring Ishita to her clinic so that they can confirm her pregnancy. Toshiji and Bhallaji hugged each other tight in sheer happiness.
"Matarani ka lakh lakh shukriya.. Mainu bohot khushi horahi hai Bhallaji" Toshiji was getting excited like a kid
