Yash Narayan memory loss

We already saw that he remembers the mantras
But he has forgotten his daughter
How is that possible ?
Does he remember only work related things ?

That's a big question... But he does remember things for some moment... And also we did't get to see him reciting mantras, so no idea if he remembers it or not...

The way he confidently came down after Chandni told him what he has to do
I thought he remembers all the mantras perfectly well as that is is job

We arent sure whether he completely rem those mantras or not cause he didnt reach there ..i surely think he plays huge part in whatever happened sixteen yrs before

I want him to be innocent
The whole family is in this plan
I want some one to be an exception

Alzheimer is something like loss of short term memory first but they will remember things they studied, worked on etc. Gradually they don't recognize their own stuff and people too.

People with Alzheimer's cannot remember events which happened just 5 mins ago but can remember certain events or memories from the distant past. But as age increases, gradually they may not remember the things from the long past too. Yash (dunno if he is affected with Alzheimer) may remember the mantra because that was an integral part of his life.

But again it could be him faking the whole thing convincingly.
