I am so late but better late than never!

Hi everyone,👍🏼 I don't even know if there is any regular member or not! My name is Iptida and I am a crazy fan from Bangladesh. I am a new Fan into IF.

(i have no idea if anyone will read this lol)
I have been a silent reader of IF mostly from 2007. The reason I am posting my backstory is because of nostalgia!😃
I was a devoted kash fan but didn't use IF much then , only till 2008 and Then forgot my ID pass and all. 😭
Why I am telling you all this? Again nostalgia. 😉As I have said I was a loyal KaSh fan aka dmg fan, I was at my teens so after that shock when shilpa left I was not much into any indian show. But yes I for some reason watched Geet until she lost her child. After she lost her child I don't know but I lost interest but I used to watch geet in bits and pieces. When I remember the Maaneet from my memory of 2010 i recollect that they had all the scenes which as a kash fan I would have dreamed off. 😭
Anyway when starone got revamped I was very Sad cause Geet was ending along with it.
by then ipk was airing at SP and there was a mutual disliking for ipk fans. To be very honest I stayed away from forums cause of the intense illogical bashing and I was regular at fb.

Anyway I had some maaneet friends at my fb id and I want to say after seeing ample fan bases from 2007 till 2012 I felt Maaneet fans were superbly classy, I have never seen them cussing any other fan base without any reason. At 2012 I started to miss maaneet very much.Also I loved Gurmeet and i watched whole JDJ5 only because of him. My personal Life has a bit to do with that 😉 ... Anyway at 2013 I was rewatching all dmg and geet so i ended up downloading almost 200 Episodes of Geet from Youtube. I have this nostalgia disease lol So i love to have a collection of my own.
I started watching them in 2015 again. I watched the whole show from episode 1 to episode 470 and boy it only needed me to wait till episode 11 when Gurmeet Aka Maan Entered.
So this is 2017 and I have been Suffering from maaneetiac disease from a very long now. I use to think nothing can replace KaSh chemistry but nah Boy Was i wrong?
From 2010 till 2017! A silent fan emerged deeply within me! I think most of Maaneetians who were teenagers and all have grown and might moved on or lost all their hope But people like me who have the entire Geet collection and and rewatched this awesome show in one go without ads and all you might feel suffocated by the nostalgia and love.
2017 and still no show like Geet in the indian daily soap , although i have don't watch them but i would have known from other people if there were any! Love like Maan and Geet happens very rarely! Chemistry as such happens equally rarely!
Geet was aired into indonesia i Know Geet loyal fans know this and GurTi didn't meet! Yeah huge disappointment for me! This triggered the fan in me very much. So after all these years I have finally joined IF just to know if anyone's still out there!


huge post , sorry for this but are there Maaneet readers who still reads Maaneet ffs if so I have just started writing one and want to post. So if some one guides me would be great!

Welcome to IF and more specifically Geet forum... yes the front runners of making this forum popular and happening place are more like the silent readers now and often have disappeared but there is still abundance of talent and imagination here.. I am not sure how much into reading Fanfics you may be but uff there is so much good work here that even months after you will still have some amazing stories to read..

Some of the forum members have created lists to make things easier for us all...

there is a lot of activity around here and the buzz is there with the right readers if you catch on to their threads...

I have many favourites here but you can decide as you browse through the forum and pick your own. Trust me you will make some great friends and find muse even worth inspiring ...Some of us are readers and some writers and some both... I have started to write too but still very early in its inception.

As per me, I have read mostly ffs from 2010 to 2013/14
The absolute new one's I have no idea about! Because in google search mostly old ffs appear! However, my intention of opening this IF id was to reach you all and during mid sept 2016 I was creating VMs and all of them got copyright strikes lol. But I got good response within a very short time so I knew Geet fans are still there. 👏

About my writing, I can't say how awful 😕 I am but once my head is occupied with anything I do that so I will just post a few parts after that if I get some response then only I might continue. (else won't torture anyone😉)

And one thing I know about this forum very well is that maaneetians have the best writers ever ❤️so after so many years actually writing something for a newbie is a very bad idea,🤔 idk even someone hasn't already written the same plot already who knows! 😕❓
