Kissa (almost) kiss ka

All my lovely ladies and a few gentlemen,

Pardon me for making a post on such a (possibly) inappropriate topic.

There are so many fun posts are being made on almost, wished for and did not really happened kinds of kisses. :-D

Some of us even went ahead and asked the leading man for a kiss (albeit, on behalf of the leading lady's character).

Some of us are specific about details too. :-D

And that made me write this post. My experience with ITV in it's post Ekta avtar is far and few in between. Pre cable era, the romance was more of a implied thing than expressed. And I am not sure what is allowed, or expected or is even a norm.

I noticed that everyone assumes that the kiss on forehead speaks of tender love and is logical first step. At least in Television romance.
And a lot were asking for a kiss on neck. I found that highly surprising. A kiss on neck is lot more intimate in real life.

And about that almost kiss, I felt that in the fire sequence. The kiss starts in eyes and then reaches lips. Almost kiss is the one which begins the journey but does not complete it. So let me stop this wandering post here and let's hope to see the journey in the show.
