'Oh that's right...'' Said Raman letting go of Shagun's embrace

'Romi make sure that the security is ...'' Raman began

'Not to worry, no one who isn't supposed to be here will be here...'' Said Romi

'Ohh about that... I invited Simmi...'' Said Shagun

'What... Why...'' Said Raman pretending to be upset

'Because... She is your sister and I hate seeing you guys fighting like this. All because of that Ishita'' Said Shagun

'Like I told you, Ishita is only here because the kids needed tutoring'' Said Raman

'Can I just say we can hire someone else. No woman would feel comfortable having her husband's mistress in her house taking care of his and her kids... I don't like it...'' Said Shagun

'I know... But the situation demanded it...'' Said Raman

'I get it but the situation has changed. Aditya's grades seem to have improved and besides Aditya and Ruhi are in a good place, it will mean they do not need her around anymore. I can take care of them now and if anything is needed they have you and their grandparents, Romi, Rinky and even Simmi. You do not have to worry about it anymore...'' Said Shagun and Raman sighed

'Fine... We will talk about it after this. Just promise me Simmi won't cause any trouble...'' Said Raman

'I promise...'' Said Shagun smiling and he smiled back saying

Ishita who was standing at the entrance tried to look at what was happening but she felt like she her insides were burning given how jealous she was feeling. She was letting go but no one said it was going to be easy. Them breaking apart did not mean her feeling for him just disappeared, so as much as it was pretend, it still hurt

'You can leave...'' She suddenly heard Shagun say causing her to turn

'Excuse me...'' Said Ishita

'I said you can leave... You do not have to be here anymore...'' Said Shagun and Ishita looked at Raman instead

'Do not look at him, I said so...'' Said Shagun

'Actually...Actually she is here in the capacity of Iyer Tech President... Am afraid she can't leave. This event as much as it is for you, it is also a business strategy to clean up house. Iyer Tech president being absent may cause eyebrows to rise... We do not want that...'' Said Romi

'That bitch I swear...'' Said Shagun as she tried to follow Ishita but Raman held her back saying

Ishita who was trying everything in her power to make sure that she did not let her cover be blown walked to the parking lot waiting for Shlok to show up. He was coming with someone who was supposed to begin the whole thing. As she made it there, she could see Aditya and Ruhi talking to someone and they seemed like they were a bit uncomfortable, hence catching her attention.

'Grumpy...'' She called causing Aditya to turn and look at her a bit teary

'What is the matter...'' She asked as she walked to where they were only for Simmi to emerge

'Hey Ishita...''She said and Ishita took a step back and looked at her

'Cruella...'' Ishita said and Simmi smirked

'I am in a mood so good that not even you can distort it...'' Said Simmi

'What are you doing to my kids'' Said Ishita

'They are not your kids. They are Shagun's and she is inside waiting to renew her vows...'' Said Simmi

'Aditya... Are you okay...'' Ishita asked and he nodded in affirmation

'Come on let us go...'' Said Simmi as she took Ruhi's hand and tried to walk inside with her but Ishita stopped her

'If you think for one minute I am allowing you go anywhere with these children it means you have not learnt anything in the last couple of months.'' Said Ishita

'They are not...'' Simmi started but Ishita interrupted

'Oh I dare you... Try it...'' Ishita said and Simmi not wanting to create any commotion let go of Ruhi's hand and walked in

'Are you guys okay? Why do you seem upset'' Said Ishita as she took them and they sat together on a bench in the gardens next to the parking lot

'She said that you are leaving and not coming back...'' Said Ruhi

'What...'' Said Ishita a bit taken back

'Simmi Auntie said that you will leave us and never come back'' Said Aditya as he turned to her

'Is it true...'' He asked

'Don't lie to us...'' Said Ruhi

'She is right... I am going away for a while...'' Said Ishita and Aditya started to cry

'Is it because of us... We will be good please, don't leave...'' He pleaded

'Adi... Come on stop crying... It is okay... And this has nothing to do with you both you know that'' Said Ishita

'Then why are you leaving us, I thought you loved us...'' Said Ruhi

'I do... But ...'' Ishita started but they were not having it

'Is it because of dad...'' Asked Aditya

'No... I just need to...'' Ishita tried to find words to explain to them but she couldn't quite bring herself to say anything

'You're abandoning us... You're leaving us just like everyone else...'' Said Aditya turning as he ran back but Ishita pulled him back hugging him

'I am so sorry... Please do not think for one moment that I am abandoning you or that I do not love you guys...'' She said holding letting go as she held his hand and his sisters

'But why are you leaving then...'' Said Ruhi

'Right now you can't understand me no matter who much I explain it but just know it has nothing to do with you... Okay... Stop listening to your Auntie, she is crazy...'' Said Ishita smiling calming then down a bit

'Come on go back in, you have a performance to prepare for remember'' She added and they walked back in

Ishita watched them leave as she worried about them but did not know what to do. She figured she talks to Mihika asking her to keep an eye on them but she bumped into someone at the entrance.

'Oh Sorry...'' She said stepping back as she looked at him

'Its fine...'' He said seemingly absentminded before he eventually walked in

It didn't take long for Ishita to recognize who it was and so she took her phone out calling Varun because the plan was now in motion.

Raman saw Varun make the signal and he nodded taking Shagun's hand as he led her to the front of the room gathering everyone's attention. Shagun who was so out of it and so blinded by what she was about to achieve did not notice something peculiar about the people in that room until she was standing at the front staring at everyone.

That room was full of Raman's family, Ishita's people and every single person Simmi had used to get her into the Bhalla Mansion. Even Kushan who almost never attended such events was there. Something was off.

'Raman...'' She whispered

'Shhsss My lovely wife...'' Said Raman turning as he added

'My wife is getting a little impatient you see...'' And the room chuckled

'I am so grateful that I was given a second chance to have and live the kind of life I have always wanted. With my kids and the woman that I love all with me, I get so nervous sometimes it will all disappear again ...'' Said Raman his eyes on Ishita

'I know I have no reason to even ask this of your given how much you have had to go through because of my incompetence and indecision but I am hoping, I am praying that you will give me a chance to show you how much I love you.'' He said again his eyes still fixed on Ishita and people in the room where starting to notice

'What the hell is he doing?'' Whispered Shlok who was confused because this was not the plan

'He is asking for a Hail Mary...'' Said Mihika chuckling a bit

'What...'' Said Shlok confused

'If me losing everything I have means me having you back right here then I would gladly give it all away, without fighting because I know all that I can earn right back. You see am talented like that...'' He said chuckling faintly trying to take back the tears that had begun forming in his eyes

'Am not sure if you noticed but when we first met, I got so nervous that I sort of acted a little out of character...'' He said

'Out of character... Really ... Is that another word for ass...'' Said Romi and the room chuckled

'Raman... What is going on'' Asked Shagun who everyone seemed to have forgotten about

'I want to raise our kids with you, I want to spent the rest of my life loving you, I want to spend the rest of my life doing right by you and I know this is too much of me to ask but... I am begging you to just stay where you are and I will make my way to you... If you can't stay still ... I will wait, until your ready...'' He said his eyes still on Ishita who just stood still not saying anything

Any woman in her position would have faltered, any woman in her position who had felt like she had a one sided love for so long would have hesitated. But she had made peace with everything and had decided to just move on, so what right did he have to make her heart flutter again.

CHAPTER SIXTY THREE

None of them understood how hard it was for her to watch him put her last all the time. None of them understood how much of her she had given up to be there. She was not an idiot, people talked about her like she was a cheap wh**e, she left all her pride behind when she fell in love with Raman and all she wanted to do was leave with a little dignity and not be such an easy woman.

Where did he come off making her feel like she was one, again? Because everything he said made her heart flutter, reminded her of how good it felt when he loved her, reminded her of how much she had missed pretending she didn't care and what made her even angrier, she was still the woman in the shadows because as he said all this clearly to her, he was still holding another woman's hand.

Ishita lost in her own thoughts staring at Raman who was looking right back at her and in that moment with were in a world of their own. Shagun clearly angry at them for obvious reasons and was about to start creating a ruckus when suddenly Varun yelled

'Got him...'' said Varun

'You son of a bitch... You scared the shit out of me'' Said Priya

'Sorry...'' Said Varun

Everyone in the room turned to them not quite sure what was going but Ishita had been pulled out of her daze and she knew she had work to do.

'What is it now...'' Said Simmi as she turned to them and in the corner of her eye she could see him

She felt like her heart was about to pop out of her chest and she couldn't believe her eyes. She turned and tried to make her way to him but Shlok stood in her way and grabbed her bag taking her phone.

'What are you doing'' She yelled

'Shhsss... Shut up and enjoy the show...'' Said Shlok and he walked to the front where Ishita was now standing

'Okay... Looks like finally this faade is about to end...'' She said

'What is going on'' Asked Shagun

'Don't worry you're about to find out...'' Said Ishita turning to Mark

'Please take the kids and under no circumstances should you take them out of your sight. Understood...'' She said and he nodded taking Aditya and Ruhi out of there

'Alright then... Shall we begin...'' Said Ishita as she turned to Mark who in turn asked security to lock all the doors

'What the hell is going on...'' Said Simmi

'Now... Someone in this room has been screwing with my Billion Dollar project at the Alt... Pretty much everyone here knows about the Alt but just a few know what I actually do there... Screwing with my money I do not appreciate and so nobody leaves this room until someone tells me who the hell has been f**king with my money...'' Said Ishita

Raman looked at her after making the comment she did and he felt his heart melt but he couldn't say a thing. Everything would fall apart.

'Okay then looks like the hard way it is. I really did not want to do this...'' Said Ishita turning to Varun

'For starters I think threatening people as a way to do business is a bit cowardly and holding their kids ransom is even worse...So this makes me sick to my stomach'' Said Ishita as she turned to the projector

There was a live feed that was coming from a hospital; there was a security guard at the door and two inside. There was a nurse who was giving an injection to the patient and a doctor who looked like he was taking notes and a young lady who seemed like she was a caretaker.

'What is this...'' Asked Shagun her voice quivering as she felt like her heart beats through her eardrums

'Wow... You have taken a long time away that you can't even recognize your own child...'' Said Ishita

'What... Why... Wha... I... Please...'' Said Shagun as she began to cry

She couldn't believe her eyes and was in utter shock that Ishita even knew about that. She had done everything in her power to make sure that nobody touched her very sick child. This was not how this was supposed to go. Her husband should have been there, why wasn't her husband there with their child.

Mihika, Priya, Raman, Romi and Pratik had no idea about this because Ishita didn't tell them. Probably because she knew they would talk her out of it. This was a bit low even for her. Playing with a kid's life was not okay, regardless of the reason. Nothing could justify this and she was taking it too far

'I guess you're wondering where your husband is...'' Said Ishita turning to Shagun

'Funny story... I found out about him after I hacked that burner phone you threw away at the party, remember and his number popped up. After a few digging, he came up. He is a very jealous lover I tell you. I showed him these and you won't believe what he did to revenge that'' She added

'Showed him what...'' Said Shagun turning to Ishita

Ishita put her hand on Shagun's shoulder and turned her towards the screen and that is when the pictures of her and Raman popped up just as she had instructed Varun to do earlier.

Flashback

'So...What now... What next...'' Said Varun

'Get me screen shots of that, that night he and she... you know and also a video of her throwing shit around, manipulate that video and put that hugging in the living room just after the throwing shit and the kissing on the bed at the end of it...'' Said Ishita

'What are you thinking...'' Said Varun

'Oh am sure her husband is interested to know about this'' Said Ishita

Shagun turned to Ishita raving mad and she lifted her hand and swung it across but Ishita grabbed it saying

'Wait... Wait... I have a gift for you hold on...'' She said and Mark pulled forward Shagun's husband who looked a dejected man as he stared at his wife

'Look... Look... Look... My favorite one was this one... My god you were really into it...'' Said Ishita tauntingly

'Turn it off...'' Shagun yelled

'Why... I don't want to...'' Said Ishita

'Please...'' Said Shagun completely ashamed and embarrassed

'This is how you were planning of taking care of Aman... Like this...'' Said her husband

'It isn't what you think...'' Said Shagun

'Are you sure... You said that you were just going to con them into believing that you were his wife, get the money for Aman and we would disappear... This is what you were doing instead...'' Said her husband

'Baby please, listen to me...'' Shagun began

'Not interested... You seem to always find a way to get what you want. You seem to always do this...'' Said her husband

'What was I supposed to do. I needed to make sure that I played the part...'' Said Shagun but her husband interrupted

'By doing that... What do you take me for'' Said her husband

'Please...'' She cried

'Shagun... What is going on...'' Raman began playing his part

'Just let me leave... Everything you need to know about what Simmi and I are working on Ishita already has it. She is just doing this to humiliate me...'' Said Shagun

'What...'' Said Raman turning to Ishita

'You think I do not know you had been spying on me and hacking into my devices. I figured it out a bit late so there was nothing I could do. Everything I have on Simmi she already has it...'' Said Shagun turning to Raman

'Please let me go see my son...'' She added

'Not until you tell me what I want...'' Said Ishita

'Okay...'' Said Ishita turning to the live feed

'Everybody say hello to your friend here...'' She said and everyone in the room where her son was started waving much to Shagun's shock

'Nurse... How long has he been unconscious ...'' Said Ishita and the woman in the hospital put her hand out indicating five

'Five minutes... Okay... How long does it take for it to become dangerous...'' Said Ishita and the doctor put his hands up

'Oh seven minutes... Alright thank you...'' Said Ishita turning

'That leaves you with two minutes...'' She added

'You can't do that... You can't... Please he is just a child... He is just a child...'' Said Shagun in tears

'So were Ruhi and Aditya...'' Said Ishita turning to her

'Please that is my Child...'' Cried Shagun

He knew there was no way she would cause harm to that child that was not the Ishita he knew.

'30 Seconds...'' Said Ishita

He just kept on shaking and shaking while machines went off but no one was coming in to help and the guard just stood there as if nothing bug was going on

It wasn't because he did not think that this was wrong, it was because unlike most people in that room he knew Ishita enough to know there was no way she would let that happen to a child. There had to be another explanation. He refused to believe that the woman he loved was that hard hearted.

Shagun knew she was cornered and for the first time since her son fell ill she felt like she was given hope and there was no way she was going to let it slip her by because she was being loyal to a bunch of people who did not care if she lived let alone her son.

Simmi wanted to take RKB Fashions and still does but as soon as Ishita showed up and decided to work with Raman, they found how valuable she could be and how the Alt was lucrative. The Chandras did not care for RKB anymore and wanted to use it as collateral so as to orchestrate a hostile takeover of the Alt...'' Shagun began to talk

'If Ishita had not bought back all shares of the Alt from me and Varun... That makes her majority owner of the Alt and Shlok is only acting C.E.O until Ishita deems otherwise. So hostile takeover would not work ...'' Said Varun turning to Ishita

'It was suspicious how he was looking for a buyer for his company in Goa and also the rate and amount that was being laundered out of RKB and that paper company, something was off...'' Said Ishita

'Hang on a minute, if you knew all this why did we do all this'' Said Romi

'Simple... Confession... Do you know how long it would have taken for those investigators to gather what I gathered in a month...'' Said Ishita turning to the guys at the door

'Oh I am exhausted, do your thing...'' Said Ishita and everyone's attention turned

'Okay Simmi Bhalla, Amika, Jai, Kushan, you are all under arrest...'' Said one of the investigators and together with others all of them were handcuffed

'My child... I just to know if my child is okay ...'' She pleaded

Ishita looked at her almost as if contemplating whether or not she should bring her out of her misery or just tell her the actual truth. Lord knows she deserved it.

'Please...'' She cried

Ishita turned to the monitors as said

'Adi... You can get up now...'' And the boy who was in the bed suddenly got up removing the black cap that was on his head and there was Aditya. He turned to the monitors and waved

'What... What is happening...'' Said Shagun completely confused turning to Ishita

'Where Aman... Where is my...'' She added

'Delhi Hospital... That is where he is being treated last time I checked...'' Said Ishita

'What... But ...'' Said Shagun turning to the screen

'I just saw him... He was dying...'' She said

'No... You saw an image of something that resembled your son... That is Aditya... He is doing rehearsals for his audition for the drama club... Apparently there is a play and Nitya is a nurse so he wanted to be a patient... I told him I had a way to make his rehearsals seem more realistic and he accepted that we had a game to play. Since his dad was having a party he and I would use that time to have fun. So I may have built something in the back of this hotel to look like a hospital...Who knew grumpy junior would play the part to perfection... Kids with crushes, anything goes ...'' Said Ishita turning to Shagun

'Ishi...'' Shagun's husband began turning to her as he got on his knees

'Please... I am begging you... My son... I am all he has. We have no extended family, if we all go no one...'' He continued

'Stop... I know... And I am not as cold as your wife... Your child is on his way to Germany, that man standing at the door is taking you there as well...'' Said Ishita and the man just sat down on the floor tears streaming down as he looked at Ishita

'I am only doing this because I promised you when you decided to help me that I will take care of him. I am a person of my word in return...'' She said and he interrupted

'Should never cross your path again... I will leave like a nonexistent person... Thank you...'' He said touching her feet

'Thank you... Thank you...'' He repeated but Ishita just moved away and the man stood up humbly and walked out

'Wow... You have outdone yourself this time... 'Simmi began with her antics

'The only reason I am not suing your ass is because your brother Romi asked me not to otherwise you would be facing worse punishment than this. So I would advise you to shut the hell up and take your punishment in silence'' Said Ishita angrily as Simmi got handcuffed

'Raman... Are you just going to watch...? Raman ...'' Yelled Simmi

'Oh it isn't Ishita suing you... I am...'' Said Raman

'What... No you can't do that... Please... What will Mama and Papa say...'' Said Simmi still confident nothing would happen to her

'Well... Mom is actually the one who encouraged me to do that and dad is the one who filed the papers with me. No one is willing to take responsibility for your actions anymore...'' Said Raman

'You bas***d... You won't get away with this I swear... I will make you pay... I will not spend a day in jail. I am going to get out and I am going to hunt you down'' She yelled

'In case you hoping the Chandras will help, Jai was arrested two hours before this started and Mr. Chandra was arrested trying to board a plane to Africa. Your lawyer has been summoned. Your directors as you can see have been arrested and Kushan well...'' Said Ishita turning as Kushan was being dragged away

'Seems like you have no way out this time. I made sure of it...'' She added

'Just take her away...'' Said Shlok and the police proceeded

Simmi kept ion fighting yelling as she asked them to let her go but it all fell on deaf ears. There was some commotion in the room for a while before everything was eventually cleared. Ishita's statement and the rest of them were taken by the investigators before they also eventually left.

Mark and Shlok addressed staff from the Iyer Tech who had helped out and told them of the legal and security measures they had to take until the case was finally closed. Ishita thanked them before they also left leaving there just a few people.

'Well... This was a day in my entire career as a lawyer I will never forget'' Said Pratik

'Yeah... Tell me about it'' Said Romi turning to Ishita

'Seriously thank you...'' He said

'No problem...'' Said Ishita as she turning as she heard Aditya and Ruhi ran in

'Oh My God did you see me... See... I am going to be an actor... Salman Khan Status ...'' He said excited

'I know... Congrats...'' Said Ishita smiling at him

'He wasn't all that...I could do better'' Said Ruhi

'Is that so...'' Chuckled Ishita

'Nah Ahh... Your just saying that because your jealous'' Said Aditya

'Am not...'' Said Ruhi

'Are too...'' Said Aditya

'Okay... Alright ... You were great and you will be when you get the chance...'' Said Ishita bringing that argument to an end

'Hold on... I am going to call Nitya and tell her... Mark uncle said it was all recorded...'' Said Aditya

'Mr. ... Call me Sir...'' Said Mark uncomfortable causing Ishita to smile at him

'Why would we call you Sir... Your Ishita's friend and thus our Uncle... Simple ...'' Said Ruhi turning as she took his hand

'Come on... We need to go film my scene... It has to be better than Aditya's...'' She added

'Wha...'' He said

'Come on...'' Said Ruhi and she reluctantly pulled him away

'Hey if she gets anything better than what is mine you will be the worst Uncle in the universe...'' Said Aditya as he followed them

'Looks like I might leave Mark behind once I leave... It might make things easier'' Said Ishita

CHAPTER SIXTY SIX

'What do you mean leave...'' Said Mihika

Ishita and Mark probably were the only two people in that room who knew she had no intention of coming back to India again.

'Ishu...'' Said Mihika and Ishita sighed saying

'I need to figure out a way to leave on my own somehow...''

'What the f**k are you talking about...'' Said Priya

'I have actually never lived on my own in my life. I am always depending on someone or there is always someone taking care of me, or something. I need to learn to value myself more. I need to love myself more...'' Said Ishita

'Is it because of what my dad did... Is that it...'' Said Priya who was beginning to tear up

'No...'' Said Ishita

'Then what... Why are you breaking up a friendship that has lasted for a long time'' Said Mihika

'Because for once in my life I want to be selfish, I want to do something just for me without worrying about anything or anyone...As my friends you should be able to understand that'' Said Ishita

'I don't get where this is coming from...'' Said Mihika pulling Ishita's hand and forcing her to look at her

'I am getting married soon... You're supposed to be there... You are the only family I have... You're supposed to be there when I settle down. Have my first born be a part of their lives, and now you're telling me... No...'' She added

'Mimi...'' Said Ishita

'NO... I said No... You are not leaving...'' Said Mihika grabbing her bag as she walked out causing Romi to follow her

'Ishita...'' Said Priya who was in tears

'You all can hate me but I have made up my mind...'' She said something that came off very careless, like she didn't care about them

'This isn't right... And you know it...'' Said Priya as she walked away as well

'I will... Yeah ...'' Said Pratik as he followed her

Raman looked at her as she watched his kids from the monitor and he knew in his heart for hearts he knew she wasn't changing her mind about this. He was completely out of ideas on what to do or what to say to her anymore in regards to where they were coming from.

'So what does this mean?'' Said Raman his heart sinking to his feet because he could feel what was coming from her and it all finally coming to pass, something he dreaded the most.

Ishita just looked at him as she became teary her heart breaking but she knew as much as she loved him, as much as she would do anything for him, it was never enough. He needed to love her back; he needed to see her as a person independent of someone who was just replacing his dead wife. Not once had she ever felt that he saw her that way. Painful as it was, leaving was the right thing to do.

No... No... No... We are not doing that...'' He said looking at her as if he could see through her

'What...'' She said

'We are done you thinking somehow this has anything to do with Shagun, the real one. We have already established that. I think even if she came back to life tomorrow unbelievable as it may sound I would still choose you and that is a fact...'' Said Raman

Ishita turned and looked at him in disbelief not certain whether what she had heard was he had actually said or not. He had a way with words when he wanted and this could have been one of those moments.

'What... Do not look at me like that, you know deep down that is the truth. I just do now know what you want me to do anymore...'' He said

'Nothing... Do nothing Raman...'' She said

'So are you breaking up with me, is this official'' Raman said

'We have been broken up for a while...'' Said Ishita

'No... We have been having a nasty fight for a while... You are supposed to stay and love through the hard times...You told me that'' Said Raman but Ishita just looked at him

'Ishita... Please... Don't leave me...'' He pleaded suddenly his voice breaking she could feel his heart break

'Why... Give me one good reason for me to stay...'' Said Ishita teary

'Because I love you... I LOVE YOU'' Said Raman

'No you don't... You're just afraid of being lonely... I love your more than you love me and that is fine. But I can't give myself away any more than I do... if I do that it might break me'' Said Ishita

'What can I do to prove it... Okay one month, give me one month and I swear to God I will prove to you...'' He said but she just nodded her head saying

'No...''

'Ishu... Please...'' Raman pleaded as he stepped forward taking her hand in his, leaning forward placing his forehead on hers

'I love you Ishita, I don't know how else to say it...'' He added

She knew what he meant, she even felt it and she knew she wanted to stay and be with him and just be with the person she loved. But her heart, it felt heavy, it was like she was afraid to let herself go and love that way again. The people she cared about the most in her life when it mattered somehow all disappeared. Raman and Mr. Kapoor were a betrayal so big that she probably did not realize it until he said those words to her and her heart did not weaver or her resolution to leave.

'Raman...I can't go back to how I used to feel. I do not think I have it in me to walk down that path again. In order for me to be able to say I am happy, I need to get away from all this...'' She said her voice breaking

'Ish...'' He pleaded

'I know... And trust me I love you more than you know but I just want to be away from it all. I am always fighting something or someone or being blamed for someone else, or pushed under the bus for the survival of another. Since my mother died I haven't had a day where I have lived for me until you...'' She said and he looked at her anticipating what she was about to say

'But you... You shattered my heart with absolutely no regard and somehow you expectant that I will just be forgiving and be okay with it and take you back like nothing happened, am sorry I am not that evolved...'' Said Ishita

It was the first time he had ever really understood where she was coming from. She wasn't very trusting of people but she went out of her way and let him into her world. Somehow ever since that happened, everything started falling apart, her father, her stepmother, Raman, his siblings, Mr. Kapoor and mostly her friends.

They were coming from a good place to try and fix everything but because all of them thought she was strong and could take it, none of them was really there for her and subconsciously they chose other things over her. And that must have been the first time she realized she was really alone and running away was the only thing she could think of.

'I thought once all this ended somehow you and I could finally get the chance to be happy. I never really considered what you must have been going through. How did it all go so wrong Ishita? If I hadn't been such a coward, I would be marrying you ...'' He said giving in and realizing he had to let her go

'You can't do that... You can't say stuff like that to me Raman...It is not fair'' She said

'I know...'' He said as he pulled her in surprising her

He looked at in her eyes placing his hand on the nape of her neck and leaning in. She knew what he was about to do but was too exhausted to stop him. He slowly ran his fingers on her lips before leaning in placing his lips on hers. Tears streamed down her face as she realized that she was finally letting go. He pulled away putting his arms around her, tears streaming down his face as he said to her

'I will wait for you Ishita, even if it takes me a life times I will wait...'' And with that he let go of her and walked out of that, and that was the last time they saw each other

Raman made it out to where his kids were looking at them as they somehow managed to create a rapport with Mark. He was somehow tolerating them and helping them with whatever they wanted without complaining, something that he was grateful for.

Aditya saw him looking at him and he made his way to where he was excited as he told him about his acting and how Nitya loved it. Raman smiled trying to hide his pain and worry as he listened. He had no idea how he was going to start telling them that Ishita was not coming back.

'Where did she go...'' In came Mihika looking at Raman

'Who...'' Asked Raman

'Ishita, where is she...'' Said Mihika a bit panicky

'She left...'' Said Raman disheartened

'What do you mean? She was here 20 minutes ago...'' Said Mihika

'Well... Now she isn't'' Said Raman

'Papa...She left already'' Said Aditya looking at his father teary

'I am so...'' Raman began

'It is okay... She already said goodbye...'' Said Aditya leaning in as he hugged his father

'She said that I should give you a hug every time you are sad...'' Said Aditya letting go as he called his sister

'Ruhi...''

'Yeah...'' In came Ruhi

'Papa is sad...'' He said

'Oh...'' Said Ruhi who leaned in and kissed her father's cheek

'And what was that for...'' Said Raman looking at his daughter

'Because you're sad of course...'' Said Ruhi smiling as she leaned in hugging him

'Aren't I the one supposed to make you all feel better...'' Said Raman hugging his daughter

'She is really gone...'' Said Mihika teary

'Sorry... I can't help but think that this is my fault...'' Said Raman

'No... It is hers; she was the one who left. She is the one who chose to leave. She is the one who gave up on us...'' Said Mihika who in all honesty had felt betrayed by Ishita

After everything they had been through together, she thought their friendship and bond deserved much more than that. They had been there and loved her through her flaws and pain; they had been there for when she could barely hold on after her mother had passed. She grew up with the two of you, Mr. Kapoor and Bebe as the only parents she knew. Then life happened, you all grow up and life starts to change. She had to inherit a billion dollar business left by her mother while protecting it at the same time and as if that was not stress full enough, she found the most indecisive man on the planet and fell for him..." Said Mark

"What is your point? Are you saying it is our fault now..." Said Mihika
"No... No... All I am saying is see it from her point of you. You and Priya have been working at the Alt for a while and Shlok and Varun took care of business at Iyer Tech, Mr. Kapoor f**ked up and for a couple of months they have been under investigation. She was to leave earlier but she could not because of that. You and Priya thought you were helping her when you chose Raman but you can understand why she felt alone... And to make it worse you two did things behind her back. This one slept with the crazy ass woman..." Said Mark
"I did not sleep with her..." Said Raman
"If you say so..." Said Mark
"I swear... Just for the record when I went into that room that night you guys drugged me...'' Said Raman

'None the less, just to set the record straight, I didn't sleep with her...'' Said Raman and Mihika turned to him and frowned a bit as she said

'Ishita... She was standing outside staring at my window... It was so weird it was like she was there but then she wasn't...'' Said Raman

'She wasn't...'' Said Mark looking at Raman amused

'Anyway I excused myself went to the bathroom didn't come out coz I passed out...'' Said Raman and Mihika even with all the anger she was feeling found herself chuckling

'Oh Raman, I swear...'' She said

"You're an idiot. Why did you not tell her" Said Mark
"I just thought she would trust me...? Or I don't know." Said Raman
"Like I said... Idiot... No Offence but you lost the right to ask that of her especially after calling her you punishment like seriously..." Said Mark shaking his head
"I did not mean that... I was just upset. Believe me I regret that so much..." Said Raman
"Where is she going" Said Monika

CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT(LAST CHAPTER)

To be fair it had been harder than she sort adjusting without everyone she knew and loved. Bebe popping in and out all the time gave her something to talk about and not miss everything so much, not miss everyone so much. Those seven months had been hell, she missed her friends, she missed those kids and she missed him. More than she led on, more than she cared to admit.

She was stubborn and was never going to admit it, even to herself but deep down she knew how miserable she was. Her life was planned out to the tee after she become Ishita Shergill she knew what she was supposed to do and when to accomplish it. Her friends were supposed to be on one side and the father she grew up knowing Mr. Kapoor was supposed to be on the other. Raman, he was supposed to be next to her holding her hand with the kids next to them. How did everything turn out to be so bad? She should have been braver by now, she should have started to let go but it was turning out harder than she thought.

'I do not get why we are doing this...'' Said Ishita still complaining

'Oh God stop nagging... We are already here anyway'' Said Bebe as she got out of the car

Ishita walked out and she could see it was quite a huge house and it made absolutely no sense why they were even doing this. Maybe this was Bebe growing old and Ishita allowing her get away with whatever she wanted but this was one of her most ridiculous idea ever.

'Mark... Grab her things...'' Said Bebe bring back Ishita from her stance

'What things...'' Said Ishita shocked as Mark carried her suitcases out

'Wait... Wait... Why is my stuff here...'' She asked

'Because we moved out of the penthouse today, I could not wait... Hate that place, it wasn't homey at all...'' Said Bebe

'Home... What...'' Said Ishita completely baffled causing Mark to chuckle as he struggled to hide his smile

'Come on...'' Said Bebe as he grabbed her hand

They had been planning this for months, if this didn't work they were all probably dead. A lot had gone into it and a lot of parts had to move for this to happen so if it didn't, Ishita was going to feel betrayed. Bebe was moving on the fact that she knew firsthand how miserable she had been for those months and this is what she wanted.

They made it and Ishita could see it didn't look like a mansion they were moving in. It looked like a place that already had people living there. There was something weird about the living room because as she looked around, she started noticing a few things off.

There was a photo in a frame of her mother on one side of the wall, as she made in further inside, she could see Mihika and Romi's wedding photo, Priya and Pratik, and there was Aditya and Ruhi as well as their Grandparents. And right down the middle of all that was her and Raman.

It was so bizarre because she couldn't even remember when it was taken but when she saw it she felt like something was stuck in her throat but not because it was painful; it was because it made her unbelievably happy.

'Bebe, what is the meaning of this...'' She asked completely engrossed on the photograph in the room that she forgot her surrounding until she heard him say

'Are you okay...'' Raman causing her to turn and look at him completely confused that it took a minute for her to realize he was actually standing there with Bebe and Mark already disappeared

'Ishita...'' He called he again stepping forward but she stepped back

'Wha... Whe... How ... Why...'' She said stammering but Raman just stood there looking at her allowing her to compose herself

"Are you okay..." asked Raman

"What... Why... How are you...? She said completely confused as she looked at him

Raman watched her as she tried to make sense of what was going on and just found himself smiling. He had missed her too much that even her standing there looking at him in that confused state brought him immense joy. Ishita completely puzzled as to why he was there took a deep breath and finally said

"What are you doing here ...?

"Well, turns out, waiting is very hard. I wanted to see you as soon as possible so I came." said Raman

"How did you know that I am here" Said Ishita

"Ishu... Are you alright..." He asked again stepping forward as he tried to wipe the tears that were filling in her eyes but she stepped back still in shock putting her hand on her face and it was when she realized there were tears streaming down her face

"You are a very hard person to get a hold of. It feels like I searched for you for forever until four months ago when everything fell into place" He said looking at her as he smiled

"Wow it is really great to see you..." He added

"Raman... Talk... What is going on" she said composing herself

"I missed you... Too much ... I could not wait anymore. So here I am..." He said chuckling nervously

Raman knew this was going to come as a shock to her that he was standing in the Livingroom that was meant to be hers and Bebe. She wanted to run away from all that happened and he understood that because it was always the easier option but he did not want easy. She meant too much to him for him to give up because it was easy. She had done all the sacrificing since they meant and he knew the minute she chose to leave, it was his job to go to her. He was betting everything he had on her and hoping she could see that.

"Actually funny story... but before I tell you what or how that happened. Can I just ..." He said before he grabbed her hand and pulled her into his embrace

"My God, I really missed you ..." he added. She just stayed there not moving worried that her beating heart would give away how much she actually wanted this. Only she understood how much she had longed for and imagined that moment but even with all that she knew she had to keep her cool. She did not want to be the easy Billionaire Nanny he used to know and take for granted

"Ram ... "She tried to call him

"Just a moment ... Just let us be... just for a moment." said Raman as he pulled in holding her tighter

They stayed there in silence with Raman tightly holding onto her as the people upstairs waited patiently on whether or not what they had been doing for the last couple of months had actually panned out. Ishita in all honesty could not understand why Raman was there. He had no reason to be. Her mind began playing tricks on her as she analyzed every scenario in which he came to her and neglecting the most obvious reason, she panicking pulled him from her hold and said

"Oh My God, Are the children Okay..."

"What ... "Said Raman confused

"The kids, is something wrong?" said Ishita

"Why would you think something is wrong with them..." said Raman

"Why are you here then ..." said Ishita and Raman looked at her not sure what to say to her

'Ishu...'' He called her stepping forward but she instead took a step back saying

'I do not know what Bebe told you or what you expect of me but please go back... You have two kids to take care of'' Said Ishita

'Actually they are out back...'' He said

'What...'' She said

'They are by the pool area, they wanted to see you but I did not want to surprise you so much so I asked them to wait while I talked to you...'' Said Raman

'Why would you...'' She said sighing in frustration

"Because I miss you, I Love you, and I am so sorry ... He said

"Raman, why are you doing this to me? I am just starting to move on why would you do this to me?" Said Ishita

"Because I do not want you to move on... I do not want you to forget about me. I do not want you to love any other man..." he said

'You selfish bas***d...'' She snapped

'Yes... I Am selfish I know that and I am shameless as well because I am asking you to take me back'' Said Raman

"Raman, Go home ..." said Ishita turning as she tried to walk away but he stood in front of her saying

"You ... You are a genius, Right ..."

"So ... " Said Ishita

"I read that genius like logical reasoning...Right ... "He said and she frowned a bit looking at him like he was crazy

"Just allow me plead my case ..." he added and she took a step back arms crossed across her chest

"Okay ... Okay ..." Said Raman sighing before he began

"The reason you left was because a) l was an asshole to you, b) took you for granted treating you like you did not matter, c) my crazy sister almost drove your company to the ground and because I am selfish l expected you to save her and look the Other way, d) I made it seem like you were an easy woman which was cheap on my part and the most important of them all, I made you feel like loving you caused me pain and that I did not love you to see beyond my grief which was wrong ..."

"Why are you..." said Ishita but he cut her off

"I am trying to be a better man, a better father and so being an asshole to you is something I PROMISE will not be happening again." He said

"Are you ... She said

"Trying to give you reasons why we should get back together ... Yes" He said

"When you say you have put everything on the line, what do you mean "said Ishita

"Well, I moved here..." He said

"What do you mean" She asked

"I mean I moved here. I sold the company and moved here ..." he said

'Raman say things that make sense for God's sake..." She said

"Okay... I maybe I did not sell it but I am not the one running it. "He said looking at her before he added

"If I sell it will it move your heart a little..."He said

"What..." Said Ishita confused

"No... It was worth a try..." he said

Ishita looked at him in all fairness at a loss of words because whatever he was saying or doing in that moment did not make sense at all. It was so out of character. The Raman she knew was way too careful to just do things based on impulse. It was majorly why they were there.

"Why are you looking at me like that Asked Raman

"What are you doing? Does this even make sense to you? What about the kids? Why are you here? I seriously do not understand" said Ishita

"Don't you want to see me" He asked

"No, I mean yes I mean ..." said Ishita Causing Raman to smile as he came to her

"You miss me ... Just admit it. I miss you and so I came. I thought about wasting time and wait but then I missed you too much and could not wait. So I concluded whatever needed to be concluded, Romi will handle the company while I will stay here until you are ready to come home with me. .." Said Raman causing Ishita to frown a bit as she looked at him

"Are you moved ..." Said Raman

"Don't play, just leave ..." said Ishita who thought he was just their playing games

'Oh come on honey, please ... Let us get back together and take care of our kids. Come on, Please ..." Said Raman pulling her in again but Ishita pulled away this time

'Why are you doing this to me...'' Said Ishita starting to cry

'I told you, the night you captured Shagun, I told you I would come to you... If you lose the courage to love me I will come to you... So here I am. I know your heart is with me, I have always known, so please Ishita just...'' He said stepping forward to where she was and he got to his knees something that took Ishita completely by surprise

'Please, just love me...'' He added his voice breaking looking down as he found it hard to look at her, causing Ishita took a step back with complete disbelief

'I want to raise our kids with you, I want to spent the rest of my life loving you, I want to spend the rest of my life doing right by you and I know selfish of me to ask but... I am begging you to just stay where you are and I will make my way to you... If you can't stay still ... I will wait, until your ready...'' He said his eyes still on the ground and Ishita remembered this was word for word what he had said to her the night Shagun was caught

Raman who realized hiding his emotions was not helping anyone decided to just let it bear and put everything out in the open. He finally looked up at her still on bended knees as tears filled his eyes

'I said I would wait but it seems that I can't. I fear that the more I stay away the more you go far away from me so I am scared to let that happen...'' He said chuckling embarrassed as he wiped his tears

'With my pride out the window and at your mercy Ishita please, just give me one last chance, I am begging you. I do not know how to make you believe that I love you except ask for a chance for me to prove it. So please... Let us try again... Let us do this right... Marry Me...'' He said

'Wha...'' She said

'Marry me Ishita...''He said and she just became teary and looked at him

'People break up because they have fallen out of love with each other and there is no way back. We love each other, everything else that stood in our way is gone, why can't be just be happy together?'' He said

She saw him literally begging her to love him and her heart faltered a lot. What woman's heart would not? She realized he was probably having it harder than she was and he had pretty much uprooted his life for her, something she did not see coming. She loved him and it was hard enough being away from him as it was, seeing him there loving, honestly loving her and she felt weak in her knees.

She got down to where he was and found herself placing her arms around his neck as she tears streamed down her face not even sure what she was to say to him. He in turn placed his arms around her and they just stayed in each other's embrace not saying a word both knowing no words were needed. She cried and so did he knowing whatever had been happening would all just disappear as long as they were together.

'I have a few things before I say yes...'' She said letting go

'Okay...'' He said

'First... Do not be ridiculous we are moving back to India, I miss it too much,'' Said Ishita and he smiled sitting back

'Okay...'' He said smiling

'Second, No more secrets... You tell me everything no matter what'' She said

'Okay... that goes for you too'' He said

'And...'' She said hesitating

'And what...'' He said

'This time be sure, be sure...'' She said as tears formed again

'Be sure this is what you want. Do not wake up in the morning and change your'' She began but he cut her off by kneeling forward placing his hand on the back of her neck and pulling her in as he placed his lips on hers kissing her. The feel of his warm lips again on hers still sent her heart fluttering almost making her light headed.

She raised her hands placing them around his neck as she pulled him in missing the feel of how perfect this was. He could feel her eagerness with every kiss that he found himself chuckling as he pulled away placing his hands on her waist looking straight at her but for whatever reason she could not bring herself to look right back at him.

'Ishita...'' He called her in a voice so gentle it was almost a whisper but she didn't respond

'Hey...'' He said leaning down trying to meet her eyes but she looked away

'I hate that you have this hold on me... ' She said causing him to smile

'I promise not to take it for granted ever again...'' He said coming forward and she frowned a bit curious as to what he was about to do

With a big goofy smile plastered on his face he pulled her in for a hug leaning down as he nuzzled her nose before pressing his lips on hers. It was so gentle and so innocent almost as if he was if he did anymore she would break. He took her hand fingers intertwined as they got lost in there world almost forgetting Bebe and a bunch of other people were in the room

''EEEhhmmm...'' Said Pratik as he rushed in

'Kids in coming... Sorry...'' He added as he stepped away from the entrance from the door that lead to the backyard to the living room where Ishita and Raman was

'Ishimaaa...'' Screamed Ruhi was she ran to the open arms to Ishita who was now on her feet

'I missed you so much...'' Cried Ruhi and Ishita held her tight saying

'I missed you too so much...''

'Ishima... You are very bad...'' Said Aditya who wasn't so far behind

'I know...'' Said Ishita

'You said... You said...'' Said Aditya crying as he found it hard to talk

'I know... I am sorry... I am so sorry...'' Said Ishita as he took him into her embrace

'I missed you so much...'' She added but Aditya just cried and stayed in her embrace

Raman stood up hands across his chest as he looked at them content that he was slowly bringing his family together. Priya and Romi made it in as they watched Ishita fall for those kids all over again and couldn't help but smile. This was how this story was supposed to end; this was how it should have been. Bebe who was standing at the bottom of the stairs smiled as she watched Ishita turn into a completely different person, the Bhallas as much as she had her reservations about them, they were like a beam of light in Ishita's life and regardless of how she saw them, Ishita loved them.

In a way they became a family for her that she always yearned having while she grew up and Bebe had to admit, she was grateful to Raman for allowing Ishita into his life and most importantly into his kids' life.

'Ishima...I have so much to tell you'' Said Ruhi as she stepped in front of Ishita

'Oh really...'' Said Ishita

'Oh yes ...'' Said Ruhi as she leaned forward wiping Ishita's tears

'I got an A in math you know. So as my nanny, I want a present... Also Aditya ...'' She began again

'No... LALALA... She has nothing to say... Tuttle tell...'' Said Aditya holding Ruhi's mouth causing Ishita to chuckle but with her eyes welling up again

'Not cool...'' Said Aditya and everyone laughed

'See...'' He added taking Ishita's hand as he sat her down on the couch as he continued to talk

Ishita looked up and she could see everyone was there, Romi, Mihika, Pratik, Priya, as well as Bebe and they were all standing there looking at the very excited kids who spoke to her with no grudge, no resentment almost as if they expected her to be there. She looked up at her two dear friends and wanted to say so much to them but they both just smiled at her acknowledging that they understood her and words were not needed

'I am sorry...'' Mouthed Mihika and Ishita did the same

'Hey... You realize you kids are lucky to have a Billionaire for a nanny, Right...'' Sad Priya sitting across from them

'Hey... Who says she is a nanny...'' Said Raman

'Uuffo Priya Didi... She is Mom... MOM ...'' Said Ruhi

'Ahh I see, my apologies...'' Said Priya smiling at Ishita whose face was beaming

'See she kept on saying that I wasn't so good at...'' Aditya started again

'Are too...'' Said Ruhi and Ishita who had missed the silliness smiled as she listened to their bickering like it was music.

Raman came where she was sitting next to her as he took her hand in his and they both smiled looking at their kids who seemed like after a long time had no care in the world, no worry in the world except that of being kids.

'I love you...'' Mouthed Raman

'I love you too...'' Mouthed Ishita smiling at him before she turned her attention to her kids
