The hunt to find the grown-up Durga has been on for a while. And now we at IndianWikiMedia.com hear that popular actress Eisha Singh is on the verge of signing on the dotted lines to play the protagonist.
Yes, you heard it right!! Eisha who has played lead roles in shows Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, will in all likelihood get into the shoes of the athlete post the leap.
As per sources, "Eisha fits the bill to play Durga. Though the contract has not been signed yet, the decision has been taken to get her on board.

As we know, Meri Durga is the story of a girl from a small town who moves to the city to realize her dreams of making it big in the sports field. If all falls in place for Eisha, she will take over from child artiste Ananya Agarwal as Durga.
