HaYa-When Expectations Lead to Disappointment & Heartbreak

This above dialogue by Harman is the root cause of Soumya misunderstanding him ..

First let me talk in Harman's defence.. If u see it from a normal POV , then Harman is absolutely right .. He cannot really fall for any random kinner , in fact why just any kinner , he cannot even fall for any random girl either , because its only Soumya in his heart 😳 ..How can he love anyone else other than his Soumya .. This is what Harman meant that he cannot fall for any other kinner but can only show sympathy for them ... He indirectly meant he can only love Soumya😳 ..And when he spoke about loving her beauty , it was more of a compliment for Soumya and not insult .. Its natural that initially we do get attracted towards the outer beauty of our lifepartner and then eventually we fall for that person's inner beauty too .. So when Soumya asked him if he only loved her beauty , he tried to explain her that every man and woman does look for beauty initially and he too did the same when he first met her and was unaware of her identity , so its not really a crime to fall for someone's beauty but we know that today he is still with her despite knowing her identity because he has fallen for her inner soul too .. Unfortunately he could not tell her the later part about loving her inner soul too because by then Soumya already assumed the worst about his love and he too was caught up by his fear of loosing her , reason why he could not tell her how much he loves her identity too as he was trying to protect her same identity from the society for her safety , which Soumya is unaware of



Now let me talk in Soumya's defence ... Before confronting Harman , a seed of doubt was already put in Soumya's mind by Preeto that Harman will never reveal her identity to the society because he has been running away from it .. Preeto further said that Eariler things were different as his family too dint want it but Harman kept saying how he will tell everyone because he knew well that his family will never agree , so he will never hv to face such a situation but today things hv changed as his family is ready to face the truth but Harman never really wanted this to happen as there is a difference between saying something and actually doing it ..In short Preeto made it look as if Harman is just a bol bachan(hypocrat) who only says big things but will never really act on it ... Even after hearing all this Soumya dint really believe Preeto but wanted answers directly from Harman ..So she dint really fall for Preeto's words before confronting Harman ..But yes once a seed of doubt is planted in someone's mind and its not cleared , it does give rise to misunderstandings and heartbreaks .. Same happened with Soumya when Harman too said exactly the same that Preeto said .. He too said earlier things were different , but now it has changed , exactly what Preeto said .. He then said about loving her beauty ,exactly what Preeto said .. So what is Soumya suppose to believe then ?? .. We as viewers know Harman was indicating the horrific market incident when he said things r different today and not what Preeto indicated but Soumya is unaware of it and so its obvious that she assumed things r different today equals to Harman running away from her truth ..We as viewers know Harman was indicating his heart just beats for his Soumya only when he said how can he love any random kinner on the road but Soumya is unaware of what he is hiding and so she assumed not loving any other kinner equals to loving only her outer beauty and mayb if she was not beautiful like other kinners , he would hv never loved her .. Even then she kept asking for clarification .. She wanted to know the reason behind his changed attitude .. But he kept quiet and just kept repeating that he will not reveal anything to anyone which finally resulted in her heartbreak as Harman himself kept confirming her doubts by giving twisted replies to hide the truth about the market incident ..


In short whatever Harman said was perfectly right but his timing was completely wrong as Soumya was already very excited to finally free herself from all sort of lies and get the much needed acceptance from everyone especially when she said "Your Gulabo is tired of living with fake identities , she too wants to live with her real identity now " 😭 , so when he breaks this dream of hers and not even giving her any valid reason for it , end result was heartbreak , anger ,disappointment and feeling of betrayal 😭 .. Also whatever Soumya assumed was perfectly right on her part but her timing to ask those questions to Harman was completely wrong as Harman's answers would hv been completely different if she had asked all this before the market incident 🤔 ..

And this is why I feel this HaYa separation makes complete sense as Soumya's identity was always a sensitive subject and so separation/misunderstanding based on this core subject does make sense especially after this strong confrontation and some really strong dialogues coming from both 👍🏼 . Both HaYa were right as well as wrong .. In the process of hiding the truth about protecting her , Harman ended up saying bizzare things to her and in the over excitement of getting acceptance from everyone , Soumya ended up assuming the worst about his love



Last nail in the coffin was as usual put by Preeto when she told Soumya how his love will completely vanish once she grows old and looses her outer beauty 😡. . She made it look like Harman only has sympathy for her identity but otherwise he only loves her beauty and earlier Harman's words about how he can only sympathise with other kinners , added to the whole effect 😆.. Its a case of how expectations lead to disappointments and heartbreaks ... Soumya expects a lot from Harman now as a wife and this is where her anger , hurt and frustration will come .. She expects her husband to recognise her by her identity in front of everyone which somewhere we all girls want when we marry , isn't it ?? Otherwise she feels that he is only doing a favour on her by keeping her as his wife but dont hv the guts to reveal his wife's identity to the world .. This feeling in Soumya has arised today because he loves Harman like a wife now unlike earlier days when she only used to worship him .. So her expectations from him is also like a typical wife now .. Harman understands it but he is only safeguarding his wife's identity from the cruel world , something that he is unable to explain her .. If he was really embarassed with her idenity , then he would hv already asked her to go for treatment as Soumya herself wanted to do it once but Harman firmly said no .. Wish Soumya does remember this during their separation phase and starts thinking on those lines .. And meanwhile I also wish Harman tries to clear his stand about her safety to Soumya , he needs to tell her the truth 🤔.. Though I will ask both to take their time so that we can get lots of intense , passionate and longing moments between them 😉😳..Just being selfish here as HaYa fan 😆


Right now Soumya is blinded with Preeto's words and I dont blame her for it .. first time someone spoke about revealing her identity and making her free from that fear .. so she was naturally very overwhelmed and excited about it .. but when Harman refuses to do so , her dreams come crashing down .. what we see next is her inside frustration and disappoinment .. she almost lost her sense of thinking and feels cheated with Harman .. this happens when you start expecting from your love .. its a good sign as it shows Soumya is a lady in love now and so when there is love , there is bound to b anger and tashan too 😉 ..

One thing to b noted here .. Soumya clearly said she will confess her love for him once he reveals her identity .. So its clear that till now she dint confess her love because she was living a lie as his wife ..Now that she feels she can b his wife with her real identity , she will feel more confident to confess her feelings to him without any past baggage of guilt of her identity .. This is a future indication that post their reunion , we will b getting Soumya's love confession for sure and it will b even more passionate as Soumya will realise how much her Harman ji loves her 😳😳

Before the heated confrontation scene between HaYa , I loved how Soumya went to their room and fixed Harman's shirt button like a typical wife and then checked if he was fully ready .. These small things sort of give us an idea how their relation has progressed today beautifully 😳.. Harman too noticed that there was a special glow on her face today and asked her about it 😳 ; Harman assumed glow was because of his birthday and also they r going abroad for Adi but Soumya gave him the biggest shock by telling him about how she wants him to reveal her identity to the world today as his family has no problem now ; Moment she said it , I could see that fear in Harman's eyes .. Fear of breaking Soumya's trust as he wont b able to fulfill her wish for the first time 😭 ; But from here itself Harman's sudden change in expressions started giving doubts to Soumya .. He was all romantic and naughty just a while before but the moment she spoke about her identity , his expressions completely changed ; Again we viewers know the reason but Soumya had no idea about it 😭 ..

See the way Harman always admires his Gulabo and makes her blush 😳



What I loved here was even when Harman was in such big dilemma and his mind was somewhere else , he still does not forget to hold his Soumya's hand while taking her for cake cutting 😳 ; He will never leave her hand , no matter whatever tsunami comes his way 😳

Loved how HaYa came downstairs holding hands together like a royal couple .. How beautiful both r looking in this picture


Harman feeding cake to his Gulabo and vice versa was again a sweet moment though we could see that tension on his face as he was well aware of whats coming and he so dint wanted to disappoint his Gulabo on this day but sighh his bad luck as protecting her was more important for him than giving her temporary happiness .. Preeto was in a real hurry to start her drama of making the announcement 😡 and so only option left for Harman was to walk out from there so that Preeto stops her drama 😡 ; But his walking out obviously gave a wrong impression to Soumya as she felt Harman is running away from her truth , something that Preeto too said ...Actually Harman ended up doing the exact things that Preeto told Soumya , only difference is his intention behind doing those things were totally opposite to what Preeto told Soumya about which only we viewers know ...


In the last part , I liked how Harman directly told HarPreet that they r responsible for this mess 👍🏼 .. So at least Harman knows who hv put all this suddenly in Soumya's mind , though I wish he knew the real intension of Preeto too behind putting all this in Soumya's mind ; I dont think Soumya will open the door at night .. She is too hurt and angry to again confront Harman , so she might just leave in the morning without telling anyone when Harman might b asleep while waiting for her outside ..

Last but not the least , take a bow Vivian and Rubina .. Such powerpacked and restrained performance from you both 👏👏 .. Such a heartbreaking confrontation scene would not hv left such a fabulous impact if the performances were not strong enough to hold our attention .. But u guys simply nailed it with your expressions , dialogue delivery , voice modulation , body language everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ; Soumya's change in expression from her inner excitement to feeling that disappointment and rejection from her husband was flawlessly portrayed by Rubina 👏👏 ; Harman's change in expression from a content happy man smitten by his wife's glow to that sudden rise of fear followed by going into denial of accepting his wife's identity for the sake of her safety and ending up saying things which he shouldn't hv was flawlessly portrayed by Vivian 👏👏.. Whether its emoting through eyes or bringing that pain in voice , both Vivian and Rubina simply nailed every single dialogue ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...

A round of Applause to our dialogue writer Sharad Tripathi too for giving good convincing dialogues to both Harman and Soumya , thus making sure the misunderstanding and separation looks convincing .. Dialogues can make or break a scene .. In this case dialogues left a long lasting impact and made the whole scene worth a applause 👏👏

Overall best episode of the week with some commendable performances coming from the leads .. Yes it was heartbreaking to see how two people who madly love each other r going through such pain , but this is part and parcel of a daily soap and also relationships to become more intense .. It will only make their love stronger 😃

Coming to the precap , quite scary but bring it on .. This tashan phase will b interesting 😎... If Soumya is stubborn , then Harman is no less .. He will cross all limits now to bring his Gulabo back from the kinner house and this is gonna b really intense and passionate 😳 .. At least we wont hv to see just pulao and food romance now


Harman was completely taken aback seeing her in this rebel mode .. He must hv never imagined it .. But once again Rubina nailed the rebel Tarana act and Vivian nailed that shocked expression seeing her 👏👏 ..And one more thing , Soumya dont hate Harman .. She is simply very hurt and angry with him .. She feels as a wife she has that right to show her anger on him until and unless he tells her the reason for his denial ..
