Part 33
Ishita was still blushing after Raman left when vandu and her cousins came along with beautician to make ishita ready in as bride .As iyers had agreed for early marriage for Ishra they wanted to do Ishra marriage with Tamil rituals , Mr Bhalla agreed without any fuss as he wanted only wanted Ishra marriage nothing more than that .
Beautician started dressing ishita ,she at first dropped the orange kanjivaram saree with green border ,with golden zari work ,she tucked the saree beautifully then started doing makeup . She put dark kohl on ishita eyes ,did a Lil makeup as she already was looking very beautiful without any makeup , her happiness and blush was making her look more beautiful. After doing her makeup she braided ishitas long hairs in beautiful braid and decorated it with beautiful white flower strings .Then the beautician started making her wear all the jewelries, now Ishita was fully ready in her bride attire ,looking ethereal.
On the other hand Mr Bhalla took Toshiji to Mr and Mrs iyer and introduce toshiji ,iyers were happily shocked to see toshiji ,both the samdhans hug each other ,toshiji praised Ishita in front of her parents ,all were wondering how is hit a knew her from before ,then toshiji narrated the happenings of last day when she met ishita in market . Both the parents shared about their kids and then Mr Bhalla took toshiji to meet her with their relatives. All in bhalla's relations were shocked to see toshiji after so many years ,all started asking various questions ,like where she was ,why didn't she came back ,how come today she appeared suddenly like this there were many questions ,Toshiji just answered in one sentence that she was in coma till day before yesterday .She lied to avoid all the questions because she in hurry ,she wanted to see her son dressed in groom attire.
On the other hand amma came to call ishita for jaymaal and she was awestruck on ishita's sight ,she took some kajal from her eyes and spoke putting a black mark behind ishitas ears" aiyyo ishu you are looking too beautiful ,I have not seen such a beautiful bride yet ".
Saying so she hugged Ishra while her eyes got moist thinking today she has to leave her parents ,amma wiped the tears and spoke " ishu don't cry kanna , this day comes in every girls life ,you come to meet us when ever you want ".
Ishita wiped ammas tears also and spoke " you yourself is crying and making me understand. "
Ishita opened her arms for vandu who was also crying witnessing the emotional scene in front of her ,after a while they parted and amma instructed " chalo chalo get ready for jaimaal ,I will call you in some times ".
At bhalla's side Senior bhalla's reached to Raman's room to see him wearing s mehroon chanderi sherwani witg golden dhoti and golden pagdi .He was looking too handsome as groom ,their eyes got teary ,on his sight ,Mr Bhalla turned to toshiji and spoke wiping his spects which got moist with his tears " Toshiji this the one of the most beautiful day of my life ,you know I never ever thought that someday I will see my son in dressing as groom ,he was made himself so far from his happiness that I couldn't muster the strength to talk to him about marriage..
You know ishita had the power to change him from stone to human. its only her who made him talk and smile , Toshiji you can't even imagine how mesirable our lives was without you ,ishita is just your shadow who was picking the pieces of us and was mending .And she today she succeeded , my son is talking to me ,he is smiling and happy ,going to marry and ,and I have you beside me .Toshiji that girl had done much for us ."
Toshiji smiled fully and spoke " haan bhallaji she is very nice girl ,I must say you have chosen a perfect girl for my son .now let me admire my son , I m not getting enough of him ,he is looking way too handsome today.
Like this they talked for sometimes and when they were called for jaymaal.All headed towards the hall were the function was organized ,Bhalla family entered the hall happily both the parents were on side while Raman and simmi were in middle ,toshiji was holding Raman while me Bhalla was on simmi's side ,all were nicely dressed looking like royal family . All iyers and their relatives admired them and praysed Mr iyers choice for his daughter .Bhalla's directly went to the stage ,Mr Bhalla signalled Mr iyer to bring ishita ,Mr iyer says same to Mrs iyer ,she nodded and went to call ishita .Soon all saw ishita coming surrounded with many girls ,vandu and amma was walking beside her while ishita was walking slowly holding a beautiful varmala of roses .Raman saw her and was lost in her angelic look ,she was already beautiful and the bride attire along with her blush was adding glory to her look . She reached the stage and climbed the stairs ,Raman went to her and helped her in climbing the stage while all their cousins ,simmi , Nitin and Mimi's all hooted for them , Raman also gave a wide smile to them and encircled his arms around ishita without hesitation while she got embrassed on his action ,she tried to remove his hands but his hold was too tight to remove . Soon they were standing facing each other for varmala. vandu told ishita to put the garland on Raman's neck ,ishita obeyed her and raised her hands to put the garland when mihir and Nitin picked Raman up ,ishita looked up and saw him with confusing eyes when mihir told ," not so easily ishita ,my friend is very special ,you have to reach to him,ishita made puppy face when bala picked ishita in his arms and spoke " ishu now you can put the garland easily ".
Ishita smiled and put the garland around Raman's neck ,he too made her wear the varmala ,both saw each other and shared a brief eyelock ,while Raman winked at her ,she blushed and down casted her eyes .Soon they were put on the ground ,then elder blessed ishra for their happy life .After elders were done , simmi ,Nitin ,Mimi's ,their cousins ,bala vandu all gathered around the stage and told ishra to give different posses for pics .Ishita was shy but Raman was freely giving the posses, they spend much time in that .They were still busy in themselves when elders called them for marriage rituals .
Ishra went back to their rooms where ishita changed into her red madissar while Raman was given silk vesti .He made faces looking to it and spoke " what's this ,I don't know how to wear this ,that's why I will not wear this ".
B- that's not done Raman ,I m there to help you.
Raman told that I m good in my sherwani , but bala told that its ritual ,he also told Raman to be clean shaven , Raman again made faces and spoke " I m keeping this French beard from three years and now if I will remove it ,I will look like clown ."
B- nothing like that ,come I will help you in getting ready .
Saying so he took Raman and started making him ready ,while Raman was still making faces .Soon he got ready in vesti ,looking too hot and handsome in his clean shaven look . Bala took him to mandap with himself ,all saw him and praised that he is looking a perfect madrasi in his vesti look .Mihika saw Raman and went to ishita to tease her .
She reached in ishita's room and saw her waiting to be called ,mihika walked to her and spoke "ishu for the very first time I m seeing Raman bhai clean shaven ,I must say he is looking too hot and handsome in vesti.omg ishu I m too jealous of you ,kaash Maine thoda try kiya hota to may be I would have been getting married to him .
I- no meri jaan ,aisa nahi hota as he is mine .stop eyeing on him either aaj teri doli nahi balki teri arthi uthegi ,as you are eyeing on my Raman ,I will kill you got that.
M(teasing ); oops someone is too possessive ,but I must say he is looking too handsome .
I( excitedly)- tune dekha .
M- of course .
I- I too want to see him ,dressed in vesti .
M- tu yahin rah ,I m going again .
I(stopping her )- no miku ,no .if I m not able to see him ,you too can not see him .
M- ,(teasing more ); kis kis ko rokegi ishu ,every girl is ogling on him .
Mihika was still teasing ishita when she called simmi and instructed her to put a black mark behind Raman's ear while mihika laughed aloud listening to this .Here mihika was laughing on her there simmi too was laughing listening to ishita ,she too teased her and spoke " bhai is stitying in mandap and I m with nitin's mom ,so when you come ,you yourself put that black mark on him".
Ishita got irritated listening to her and spoke " simmi I will not spare you ,don't forget I m coming to that house only and after two days your marriage is there .yaad rakhna I will also not help you ."
S- (smiling )- achcha baba achcha ,don't get irritated ,ma already had done that but if you are not satisfied, you can also do that .
They were still talking when ishita was called to mandap, she went with vandu and mihika .She reached to mandap and panditji instructed her to sit in front of raman ,facing him .He glared panditji thinking he is doing wrong ritual as bride should sit beside him .He even called his mother and complained , toshiji told him that now kanyadaan ritual is going on and ishita will sit beside you after that .Raman nodded and concentrated on rituals ,panditji instructed Mr iyer to give ishitas hand on Raman's hand ,Mr iyer performed the ritual and gave ishitas hands in Raman's hand ,both father daughters eyes became moist .Mr iyer saw Raman and spoke " Raman kanna I m giving my most precious ,my little daughter to you ,hope you will keep her happy as she was in my house ".
Raman nodded while Mr bhalla's,spoke " aap chinta na karein iyer sahab ishita puttar hamari beti hai ,we will try to give all happiness to her .
Mr iyer smiled listening to him while panditji instructed ishita to sit beside Raman ,she did same and sat beside her .Raman pressed ishitas hand with his ,she saw him shockingly while he winked at her ,panditji was enchanting mantras ,Raman winked at her and signalled get to concentrate on rituals. Ishits shook her head in disbelief and tried to listen panditji, soon he told them to got up and take pheres ,ishra got up and took seven sacred rounds of holy fire . Raman held ishitas hand and started walking while ishita followed him till four rounds then she cane in front and he followed her .After the holy rounds they settled again ,panditji instructed Raman to put sindoor in ishitas partition ,he did same while ishita closed her eyes feeling the moment, then panditji asked for mangalsutra. toshiji passed it to him ,he did some puja and gave it to raman and told him to tie it around ishitas neck , he tied it while ishita smiled looking to him ,he too smiled back while simmi teased " bhai keep little patience, now ishita is all yours "
Ishita down casted her eyes feeling embarrassed while Raman spoke " so what can't I admire my wife ."
All smiled listening to him while panditji announced ishra as husband and wife and told them to take blessings from elders. Ishra did same ,everybody blessed them wholeheartedly.
