Part 12: Evening Game
Hearing her little sister, Chakor starts her train of thoughts 'I never thought about marriage and family but is it something for me? No! Sports is and will always be my life! May be someone from sports? No even they can be bipolar when it will come to their wife Or daughter! May believe
"Didi! Tell me! Have you ever thought about your future?" She interrupted her sister's thought.
"My life I'll be you and only you until you go to your in-laws then my career in sports."
"This is not acceptable! Did you like someone during your trainings or competition?"
Chakor went silent for few seconds before replying to her sister "Don't work your brain a lot and make our dish waste! Go and put the table!"
Around 7:30 PM, Vivaan came and informed them that his brother will try to make it here before 8, else they can start without him.
He went towards the photo frame of the girls' parents and prayed before joining them to finish the last touch up on the dining table.
"Both of face resembles to your mother." He says and they smile "But her eyes are similar to someone I know, but I can't put my hand in that." They look at him questioningly "I'm not sure about it, so no tension!" He make a peace symbol.
The trio waited until around 8:15, as there was still no sing of Suraj, they started the dinner.
"I'm not feeling like eating." Chakor answer to her sister's question as she saw her elder sister just pic few things here and there.
They didn't question Chakor more as she was the one who lived more with her parents and their void will never be filled with anything.
Once dinner finished, the trio settled and started down in the hall.
"Why not play a game?" Vivaan asked wanting to change the mood.
"Sure" Imli!
"What kind of game?" Chakor questioned.
"Truth or Dare!" Lover said in unison and Vivaan added "Simple normal rules!"
"I don't like this game!" Chakor.
"Didi! It will be just between us, so no problem!"
She nodded for what her sister said but she was reculant.
"I will arrange the bottle!" Saying so Imli went inside the kitchen and brought ab empty vinegar bottle.
"Let's start!" Vivaan.
The bottle spins and stops in front of Imli.
"Truth or Dare?" Chakor.
"Truth!"
"Is there something else that I should know but you never told me?"
"Hmmm Didi!" She went near her sister ear, so she doesn't embrasse herself or someone along with her "Vivaan and me shared room whenever we went out on trips or hmmm tours."
Imli closed her eyes expecting her sister to scream or do something to her but what her sister asked shocked her
"Vivaan! What do you think about marriage?"
"But it's not my turn!"
"I'm asking this as Imli's elder sister and her only family member."
"Since the time we started to be together, I wanted to marry her but she always says, hmm studies first then my brother's marriage and then her sister's" he receives a glare from Imli "marriage and finally us! So I'm waiting for that day!"
"Have you ever spoke about this to your brother?"
"Didi! Game now! Questions afterwards!"
The rest of the people nodded.
Imli spin the bottle and it was Vivaan's turn.
"Have you ever lied to me?" Imli asked him as he choose truth.
"Once!"
She looked at him questioningly.
"You called me when I was planning your birthday surprise, so said that I was with Sam!" Chakor smiled while Imli patted his cheek after realising that she can't do PDA in front of her sister.
Then it was Chakor's turn and Vivaan questioned "I don't know if it's appropriate or not to ask this but I'm doing this for Imli." He prevented even before asking the question "Have you ever had crush or something for someone you know like in real real?"
After taking all the courage she can, she left a big amount of breath and answered "Yes!"
"Who?" Imli poked with a question immediately.
"My turn is over!"
The second round started and the first one to do the task was Vivaan.
"Do 10 push-ups with me on you!" She ordered.
"I can't do 10 normal push-ups and you want me to do it with you over me."
"What to do? It's one of the things from my todo list to torture you!" She smiled mischievously for which Chakor shook her head smiling as the couple proceeded for the task in their hand.
"One" Imli counted.
"Two" and Vivaan fall flat on his stomach and both the sister laughed.
"Baby!" Vivaan.
"Yes!" Between her laugh.
"You have to reduce at least 5 pound!" He said as he got up and ran as he was followed by Imli.
"I will not beat you!" She said stopping as they were running and jumping around the hall while Chakor was a spectator.
However she got elbowed him in stomach before settling down.
Then Imli's turn came and she has to cry like a baby as Chakor said that's what she misses to see a lot as she was a cry baby when she was a toddler.
And finally, Chakor's turn came.
"A simple hug to the first person who crosses the main door of this house!"
"What ?" Both the sisters exclaimed.
"A friendly hug or a daughter hug! Nothing serious in that!" He said.
The trio got up and made their way to the main door and waited outside.
They saw the teacher who joined along with Chakor enter the compound but he stopped 3 bloc before theirs and Chakor left the breath she didn't know she was holding, than an older man came and went back blabbering things.
Chakor checked her watch and said "It's 9 now! If no one is here in less than 5 mins, I will hug you both and we end the game."
"Okay!" They said as they weren't sure if there could be someone who might come at this time.
3 minutes passed and No one!
Another minute passed and a car enters and parks in front and the trio knew Whose car is that.
As the person climbed out if the car, Chakor's heart heart started to run marathon.
