ShivOmRu's Merger.

Okay, seems like the merger news had shaken the forums up huh?

Its not about which couple is a hit, flop, who has better chemistry, who is a better actor, who needs whom more.

IB/DBO are a part of each other.. OBros are a part of each other. One cannot exist without the other. No Shivika, No Rikara, No Rumya/Ruvya can match up to the chemistry Obros share. (its a FACT)

This merger is good for BOTH the shows. Just because they are merging DBo with IB doesn't mean that the spin off was a flop or the jodis aren't a hit. Like shivaay said in a recent episode, 'Om k bina ShivRu kuch nahi, Ru ke bina Shivkara kuch nahi and Shiv k bina Omru kuch nahi. This is the only show where male leads are given importance than the female leads.

This story started as the story of the brothers, how them being so different from each other yet are connected by love. This is a story of their Ishqbaazi,, and how it changes them and their lives.

Personally, when the spin off happened, I was sad. I had always wanted a 1 hour of IB where all the three bros will get to be the ishqbaaz. and it IS happening. So I am excited. (Can we have the promo and montages already) I would have been sad if they had tried to squeeze 3 couples in half an hour. But they are giving us 1 hour. So technically nothing is gonna change.

There are lot more positives than negatives with the merger. Unnecessary characters will not hog the screen space (Bye Buama, Kamini) I agree some episodes Shivika might get more attention, some tracks will focus on Rikara and some plots might revolve around RuvYa. But all the time all these characters WILL be connected with each other. That beats everything in my opinion.
And really, the producers, channel realize that Nakul, Kunal & Lee are the assets of this show. The characters they play made this show what it is. They wont be compromising one for the other, (anymore) . So I feel all the three love stories will be getting equal screen space. I believe Lee once wanted to quit but he stayed back because the PH & channel must have promised him something. Right? Otherwise he wouldnt have stayed back. They wont be making the same mistake again. The show wont run without ShivOmRu/NaKunLee. Period.

I for one am looking forward to three handsome eye candies lighting up my screen (ugh some people are fighting over who is more handsome?) , teasing their wives for their ajeeb Hindi words, lots of obros moments, OBahu moments, kitchen scenes, some Devars-Bhabhis & Bade bhaiya moments, vanvas tracks, sisters track, their unity in such adverse conditions. And ofcourse the romance. Lots of it.

I request the fandoms to stay united and cut with the bashing & name calling. All the three bros are equally important. IB isn't the same without OmRu in it and DBO misses & craves Shivaay's presence too. Can we all accept the fact?

When did the show IB ever focussed on brothers or bonding or Omru for that matter ? Never ever they from day 1 focussed on Shivika and even now Shivika will hog all limelight like before so just dialogues dont make it up there were only dialogues Omru never had tracks from day 1

We fans made the spin off happen. PH n the channel know it. I dont think they will compromise on any character. As I said some episodes/tracks/plots might revolve around particular. The point is every couple will get their due. I believe. :)

By knowing how harneet fangirling sso and shivika, gul post about shedding tears about Shivika separation but not a single post about leap in dbo, how dbo was adjusted according to ib storyline, how during mahasangam we get less rikara ss and whole pinky saas bahu drama,

Well, Rikara are as popular as Shivika now. Initially only Shivika were there as a couple. But now the other two bros have their own love stories , their pairings are popular too. So they will try to make ALL the fans happy. And if they dont, the actors may decide to quit and the channel ir pH can't afford that.

I dont understand why will Shivika fans have problem and wat is with like before pls pray tell wat like before Omru being chamcha chamchi and being help to bhaiyaa with no plot for themselves and SS of 10 mins no wonder no Shivika fan is dispaointd it is only Omru/Ruvya/Rikara fans disappointed bec their favs wont get any track like before

Ishkara became popular with few scenes and was mercillesly sidelined same with Rumya so pls not this rant also why will Shivika fans have problem they will get them for 30 min now 😆It is always Rudra/Om fans who suffer
