Part 9
Raman cupped her face abd asked making her look at him " ishita are you pregnant "..
She was shocked listening to his sudden question but couldn't deny ,she nodded, hugged him tight and burst into tears.His eyes got moist listening to the most happiest and soothing news of his life .After shagun's continuous refusal and chasing him away from her ,he has almost lost the hope that he will ever be able to listen this news and because of his mothers continuous pressure having a grand child he has started craving for his own baby ,so this news is as important and miraculous for him as its for ishita ,he too cried hugging her tight though it was happy tears .After a while he pulled her from him and asked " aren't you happy ishita".
I(still crying )- I don't know how to react , I want to be happy as its a miracle which has happened but at the same time we can't forget that this baby is result of our ...
R- relax,don't take must stress.
I- but Raman I m pregnant, aap samajh bhi rahein hain iska matlab ...
R(keeping finger on her mouth)- ssshh chup, relax at first tell me did you had anything since morning .
She shook her head negatively.He made her sit in her chair and spoke passing her intercom , "order something for you. Ishita saw him with disbelief and spoke " Raman what I m talking and what you are saying ."
R- your health comes first ,rest we will talk later .
She again saw him and tried to speak something when he shushed her again and kissed her temple lovingly ,she became Lil relax and closed her eyes to feel his loving touch .After a while he parted and spoke making her look at him " at first you relax ,eat something then we will talk.chalo order karo ".
Ishita looked at him with questioning eyes ,he pressed his eyes to assure her and spoke " I m there ,you trust me na."
She nodded and picked the phone to order breakfast for her ,then she looked at him with questioning eyes ,he smiled and asked " you must be thinking how come I m here ".
Ishita nodded while he asked again " yesterday you went to doctors clinic ".
I- humm ,she only confirmed .
R- Mrs mehra from out society has seen you there ,today she was gossiping with another lady and I listened .
I(shocked )- haww they know I m pregnant, ab hum kya karenge .
R- nothing let them know ,waise bhi its baby we can't hide it anyway .
I-(narrowing her eyebrows )- what are you talking ,aise kaise we are not married ,this is wrong .
R(making her look at him)- just answer me aren't you happy .
I- happy ,not only happy I m happiest, its like a dying person got water in desert .Raman this baby is answer to all the mocking which I got from society, this baby has wiped the tag of infertile from me ,aap soch bhi nahi sakte ki ye baby mere liye kya hai . But you know I m so helpless that I can't be happy ,Raman main kush hona chahti hoon ,wanna tell this happily to everyone but can't ,but I can't Raman I m so unlucky that I can't be happy on happiest news of mine .
She again burst into tears ,he settled beside her and spoke wiping her tears ," Ishita stop this listen to me ,chup ekdum chup, no more cries ,rone se kuch nahi hoga ,are you listening to me ."
Ishita wiped her unshed tears and looked at him ,he spoke " ishita I don't like to talk in puzzles, I m a straight person ,talk straight and want my answer straight ".
R- I wanna spend my life with you and our baby ,do you want us in your life ,if yes then stop crying and be strong and if no then come let's go for abortion .
Her hand automatically went to her tummy ,she held it with both the hands as if safeguarding her baby . He smiled and spoke " I m waiting ".
I- I can't kill my baby .
R- think once more ,will you be able to bear all the question and mocking of society .
I- I can't live without you two ,mujhe aap log chahiye .I want you two in my life but ...
R- but what .
I- but though we want to live together but you are still married to shagun , kaise hoga .
R- I know it will be difficult, that's why I told you to choose .come we have to talk to your parents .
I- parents. no no raman amma will get angry on me ,don't know how appa will react .
R- I know but they should know about you more than that they should know about your condition and take care of you accordingly .
I- no Raman I can't.
R- you don't ,I will tell them .
I- I m so scared .
R- but I m very confident , I was not this confident ever .
At the same time someone knocked , ishita opened the door ,the peon has brought chole and bhature for her .He placed it in the center table and went ishita ordered him to bring coffee for them .The peon nodded and went , Raman sat ishita in couch and settked beside her ,he teared a bite ,dipped it in chole and forwarded it to her ,she had it . He smiled and spoke " ishita now you are carrying a life in you ,you should take care of yourself ,you should eat and sleep in time ,don't take much stress I m there for you .now smile its a big thing for us ."
Ishita passed a weak smile to him and asked " what about shagun ".
R- its just five months .
I- its not just five months .its five months ,my baby bump will get visible in some days ,what if she came to know about it and deny to divorce you .
R- she can't ,because she don't want to live with me rather she want her father's property which I will give her only if she will divorce me .
I- but then also ,these five months .
R- ishita we had not planned this baby its just god fulfilled our wish but in other way ,we have to plan everything accordingly. we both have to go through many things but I promise I will be there with you. bahut sun li logo ki ,they were not affected when our partners were cheating us ,they were not there when our partners were insulting us ,they treated us as s**t and bear everything just because of this society .now not more than this ,arey we also have rights to be happy .my parents choose wrong girl for me ,you were declared as infertile ,non of these were our fault but we had to bear everything na ,neighter these society people nor our parents had face those insults ishita ,it was us me and you had listened every damn mockings of our partners ,so I will not let my happiness go like this .I declare loud and clear ,ishita I want you two in my life at any cost .
Ishita smiled a bit listening to him ,he fed her some more when the peon bright coffee for them ,both had coffee together ,Raman asked ishita about doctor visit ,she informed that doctor has called her husband tomm .He assured that he is coming with her next day .Ishita was feeling much relieved and light after talking to Raman .They were talking when ,he received a call from his office ,he saw her and spoke " now I have to leave ,I have an important meeting ,in evening I m coming to your house along with you ."
I- ok, bye .
Raman pecked her temple lovingly and left not before instructing her to take good care of herself .Ishita nodded happily ,she smiled looking to his retreating figure and soon he went away .He was smiling fully,the happiness was quite evident on his face don't know exactly after how many days he is smiling .Soon he reached his office ,today he was happy and his day was also good ,his all meetings went well and he cracked the contract which he was chasing from many days .But in the middle of work he was again and again looking towards his watch as he was eager to go and meet Ishita .Finally the day ended and he went to her office and saw she was waiting for him .Both shared a beautiful smile and made their way towards her house to inform her parents .
