I actually liked Tubelight

am I the only one? May be But I actually didn't find it as bad as its being trashed .For me its better than many other Salman Khan movies with no head or tail or any kind of storyline like Kick. I mean I am not even a fan of Dabangg or Sultan.

I am basically not a Salman Khan fan because I cant like illogical action movies .Only Salman movie that I have liked lately was Bajrangi Bhaijjan because at least in the movie there was some kind of storyline and something that the director wanted to say, some emotions. Yes Tubelight isn't a great movie and yes Salman is not a great actor but atleast it has some kind of story line. There is something that director is trying to show and does succeed in some places. Even if not well acted emotions were there. So at least for me it was better than other Salman movies with no storyline ,where Salman is only well supposed to be Salman and nothing more. I don't know is there any one else who feels its not as bad as its being made out to be and is actually better than Salman's other big hits.

i have not watched it and i think most salman fans who are on the forum have not watched it yet. its weird the love and hate the movie gets. the flattery from the fraternity is so overboard and the hatred from the journalist reviewing the movie is so over board as well. on one hand we have love coming from ppl who love him coz he is him or they want to get close to him. and then the journos who are pissed that he disses them all the time.

1 for one think the journos are probably right about the directing of the movie. kabir is useless and can make very boring movies. bt they being unfair with salman they just hate him. bt i will reserve judgment until i watch

I liked it too 😆 The story tests your patience at times and seems far-fetched at the end but oh well, it did have a sweet message.

It wasn't Salman's best and definitely not his worst. He was quite good for most of the part. His scenes with Sohail at the beginning were lovely and the scene where Sohail leaves while Salman is saying bye even brought me to tears 😆 However, I feel that the movie would have somehow had more impact if the ending had not been what it is (those who watched might understand what I'm trying to say) but then the message they were trying to convey would have gone in vain so it is okay. Zhu Zhu was wonderful and Matin was adorable af <3 Om Puri was great, as always and will be missed.
