Neerja filmmakers accused of criminal conspiracy.

Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja impressed
both audiences and critics with its
impeccable storyline and Sonam's par
excellence acting in the film. The film was a
biopic drama about late air hostess Neerja
Bhanot who saved the life of travellers
during a terrorist hijack of a Pan-Am flight
and eventually dies.
Rumours of Neerja Bhanot's family having
issues with film had been doing rounds.
Now, according to a leading daily, Neerja
Bhanot's family has filed a petition against
the makers of the film in Chandigarh High
Court for criminal conspiracy.
Talking about the same, Bhanot family's
legal advisor Hemant Saini, shared, "The
parties entered into an agreement which
promised the family 10 per cent profits,
over and above the initial stipulated
amount. Now, the producers are indicating
that the contract referred to the percentage
made by Bling alone, and not by both the
producers. They claim that the amount the
family is demanding belongs to Fox, which,
they say, is not a party to the agreement.
They say most of the profits have gone to
the studio and they can only give what they
have.
It's sad to hear that movie is recently
making news for all the unwanted reasons.
