shra were sitting in the mandap taking nuptial vows. Pandit ji told Mr arora to give bride's hand in groom's. Mr arora did so and raman held her hand. Her hand was shivering thinking that she is betraying everyone when Raman kept his hand over her hand, he was holding her hand in between his hand sensing her shivering and said-i know u r also shocked like me, but I am very thankful to u that u didn't denied for the marriage. U know I badly want someone to hold my hand tight and make me realise that I can still live a normal life. Thank u for giving me that hope. Thank u for accepting me in ur life .i promise u, joh tumne mera haath Ek baar pakad liya hai, I will never leave it. He said softly in her ear making ishita smile but her smile wiped off when he said,thank u Shagun.
Ishita closed her eyes hearing Shagun's name from Raman's mouth and a tear fell off her eyes falling on Raman's hand realising him that she is crying. He put his hand under her veil and said wiping her tears-stop crying, warna mujhe lagega ki main andha ho gaya hoon, isliye tum ro rahi ho and I will stop the marriage now itself.
Ishita hold his hand and said-nahi raman, aisa nahi hai. Mujhe aapke andhe hone se koi problem nahi hai.
Raman -tum Shagun hi ho naa.
Ishita got scared hearing this and said-haan, par aapne aisa kyun pucha.
Raman -coz u said aapke, u never called me with so much respect naa, isliye.
Ishita-tab Aap mere pati nahi the naa, par ab hai, toh ab se main aapko, aap keh kar hi bolungi and I too want ki aap mujhe Shagun mat boliye, I want u to call me jaan. Aap bolenge naa.
Raman smiled and said-agar iss mein tumhari khushi hai toh main apni jaan ko jaan hi kahunga. Waise sach kahun, I did not had any feelings for u few hours before but after loosing my eye sight, when u didn't back out from the marriage, I started respecting u, jis tarah tumne mera saath nahi choda, main bhi tumhara saath kabhi nahi chodunga . He said holding her hand. Ishita felt a bit relaxed hearing this from Raman when pandit ji told them to get up and take pheras.
Ishra got up to take pheras. Ishita hold his hand tight not to let him fall,she was telling him and he was walking, soon ishita was in front of raman taking the rest three pheras, she put his hand on her shoulder and both walked together.
Bhallas were happy seeing shagun supporting raman while Mrs arora was happy that her daughter don't have to marry a blind man.
After the pheras,pandit ji told raman to fill her partition. Raman was searching for the sindoor box when ishita hold his hand, took it to the box. He took a pinch of sindoor in his fingers and ishita took his hand to her forehead. He filled her partition and she closed her eyes feeling his touch. Like wise with ishita's help Raman tied mangalsutra around her neck.
Soon the marriage got over and pandit ji declared as husband and wife. Ishita was happy and sad at the same time, happy coz she has become Raman's wife which was her dream and sad coz she is betraying Raman and his family.
Soon the vidaai ceremony started, Mrs arora didnt allow anyone to remove the veil of the bride saying, pandit ji has told to keep bride under veil till she reach bhalla mansion, it will be good for raman.
Bhallas too didn't force the bride to remove the veil. Soon the vidaai ceremony got over, ishita cried hugging Mrs arora but she was just faking tears .
Soon Ishra sat in a car and all the relatives in other. The car started and raman said-my eyes r paining. Can I rest keeping my head on ur shoulder.
Ishita -haan kyun nahi, saying so pulled him closer and put his head on her shoulder patting him softly and lovingly. Very soon he slept as he was mentally and physically exhausted. While ishita was patting him looking at him.
Ishita-raman, Aap nahi jaante aapki biwi banna Ek aisa sapna tha, jisse main dekhne se bhi darti thi. Aur aaj jab Aap sach much mere pati hai, I am not able to believe it. Pata nahi kal kya hoga raman, par jab tak main aapke saath rahungi, main aapse bahut pyaar karungi Raman. Kyunki main aapse bahut pyaar karti hoon. She said and pecked his temple softly while he snuggled into her making her smile. She wrapped him more into herself.
Soon all reached bhalla mansion,toshiji welcomed Ishra and soon took them to raman's room as raman was too tired, he want to rest. Toshiji make them sit in his room and went out.
Raman was looking for pillow with his hands when ishita make him lay down comfortably and said-aap so jaiye raman,u need rest . raman held her hand and said-ok I am sleeping, but u stay here only, close to me.
Ishita bend and pecked his temple saying-i am here only raman, u don't worry. Saying so she pat him again to sleep.
Soon he slept while ishita was just admiring him. He was sleeping like a baby keeping his hands under his head while his eyes were still under the bandage. She was caressing his face lovingly when Toshiji entered and said-arey Shagun, tu ab bhi iss ghunghat mein baithi hai. Hata de Isse puttar, saying so she removed the veil before ishita can do anything and got shocked to see someone else then shagun.
Toshiji-tu kaun hai, aur meri bahu kahan hai.
Ishita don't know what to answer, she start crying bitterly.
Toshiji -rona bandh kar, tell me where is Shagun.
Ishita-didi toh bhaag gayi shaadi chod kar, jab unhe pata chala ki Raman ji andhe ho gaye hai. Toh aunty ji ne mujhe baitha diya mandap mein. She said crying making Toshiji shocked.
Toshiji sat on the chair not able to take the shock and said-iska matlab raman ko shaadi Shagun se nahi tujhse hui hai.
Ishita nodded in yes crying.
Toshiji-raman jaanta hai yeh baat.
Ishita nodded in no.
Toshiji-tu chal mere saath. She said holding her hand taking ishita out but she stopped as her hand was entwined in Raman's hand.
Ishita-mummy ji, Raman jag jayenge. Woh bhi soye hai, unki aankh dard kar rahi thi. Let me be with him.
Toshiji was about to say something when Raman said-jaan, Kahan gayi tum. Tum yahin ho naa. He said looking for her with his free hand.
Toshiji looked at ishita asking whom he is calling. She looks down saying its her.
Toshiji left her hand and ishita went to raman. She hold his hand and said-main yahin hoon raman, ekdum aapke paas.
Raman -please mujhe chod kar mat jao, mujhe iss andhere se darr lagta hai. He said hiding his face in her tummy. Ishita caressed his face and said-main Kahin nahi jaa rahi, Raman. Yahin hoon main, bilkul aapke paas. She said and start patting him again.
Toshiji was shocked to see this, how in such a short span of time, Raman became dependant on her and why. She was thinking when Mr bhalla came to the room and asked-kya hua, Raman kyun chilla raha tha, he was saying when his eyes fell on Ishra.
Mr bhalla -yeh ladki kaun hai.
Toshiji-aap baahar chaliye bhalla ji, main batati hoon. She said and drag me bhalla out while they turn again to see Ishra lost in themselves, Raman trying to find solace in her while she trying hard to sooth her pain.
Mr bhalla -kaun hai yeh.
Toshiji -i don't know, she is telling that Shagun ran away coz Raman lost his eyesight so aroras make her sit.
Mr bhalla -aroras aisa kaise kar sakte hai. No I will not let them do cheat us like this. Main abhi call karta hoon unhe. Saying so he called aroras and told them to come asap.
Toshiji -haan call kijiye aap bhalla ji but I am not getting one thing, how raman got so much attached to someone in such a small time. Dekha aapne how he was looking for her.
Mr bhalla -haan ,I saw it, I think this is because Raman has just lost his eyes and he was trying to find solace and he found it in that girl, jisse woh shagun samajh raha hai.ab kya hoga toshiji, hum kaise batayenge raman ko ki yeh ladki Shagun nahi hai par koi aur hai. Agar raman ko sach ka pata chala ki Shagun bhaag gayi hai toh joh usse thoda sukoon hai woh bhi chala jayega.
Toshiji-i am also thinking same bhalla ji. Kaise batayenge hum raman ko sach.
Mat bataiyega, they were talking when they heard. They turn only to see aroras standing there.
Bhallas got angry seeing them and Mr bhalla said-kya kaha aapne, ek toh aap logon ne hamare saath dhokha kiya and now giving us this bloody suggestion.
Mrs arora-i know both of u did not want to listen to me, kyunki maine aap logon ko dhokha diya hai. But trust me I don't have any option.shagun hume bina bataye chali gayi, aur yeh bahut ro rahe the, I couldn't see him in pain, so not seeing any option I requested ishita to get married to raman just to save everyone's prestige, mere paas koi aur chara nahi tha, meri beti ne hamari izzat uttar di, mere pati ko heart attack hone wala tha, bahut beizzati ho jaati aur raman ka dil tutta alag. Iss liye Maine aisa kiya, waise ishita bhi meri hi bachchi hai, Humne usse bachpan se paala hai, ekdum shagun ki tarah. Woh inke best friend ki beti hai, unki death ho gayi thi saalon pehle aur tab se woh hamare saath hi hai. Woh bahut achchi ladki hai.
Toshiji -woh sab toh thik hai but what we will say to raman, how we will tell him that Shagun went leaving him.
Mrs arora -kya jarurat hai batane ki, he can't see ishita aur shagun se usne jyada baat bhi nahi ki hai, he can never differentiate between the two, aur rahi baat ishita ko toh, I will make her understand. Woh bahut samajhdaar bachchi hai, woh raman ko bahut khush rakhegi. She said and Toshiji said-but aise raman ko dhokha dena thik hoga kya. She asked and Mrs bhalla took them all to Ishra room. all peaked inside only to see Raman sleeping hiding his face in her tummy while she was patting him lovingly.
Mrs arora-see how they r comfortable with each other. Agar Ek sach chupane se Raman khush rahe toh isme kya buri hai, mujhe nahi lagta koi burai hai. Kyun Mrs bhalla. She said looking at toshiji.
Toshiji too saw Ishra together and said-i think she is right bhalla ji. Hum raman ko kuch nahi batayenge, par Kahin ishita,
Mrs arora cut her and said-dont worry, ishita chup rahegi. I will make her silent.
