I also agree Om is dumb sometimes, but no dumber than most guys who are used to having their way and when they "wish" they can have tunnel vision. His feelings for Gauri are very complicated. He HAS feelings, and even he knows he has some connection with her. Finally, we had a 1-minute monolog for him the other day where he said "Don't know what relationship aka rishta I share with her. No matter how many times I try to break it, it comes back again" or something like that. So he knows things are complicated, and even he doesn't know what to do about it. That is human. He's not some God, he's just a guy, and one thing I like about Om is he's not perfect. Kunal plays him to perfection and I love watching him. Shrenu too is spot on as Gauri and the girl can act. Love their scenes as they both elevate each other's performance.Rudra is always entertaining and even his story though I am not sure of it right now, seems to have some good points to it. The best point is that he is getting some focus. The villains too are good in their roles and Sushimita Ji as Bua Ma is chilling. Rahul Dev as Kaali Thakur was fabulous and Reyhana as Svetlana has a good screen presence too. Tej and Jhanvi are the icing on the cake. There are MANY things great about DBO, and that is why I still watch it. Yes the story feels off sometimes, but I honestly think they are trying. I am watching just for the acting, the actors and their chemistry. As long as that's there, I will watch, unless the story becomes intolerable. Heck we watched Multi Lana and her fridge and Dr Dang with Hologram story. Can it get any worse?? LOL

People are complaining that why om not believing gauri but bua maa. But logically speaking anyone will do same in his shoes. Especially om who blindly trust and distrust both.
Remember how he blindly trusted ishana till shivru bring proof to him.
And how he blindly distrustful of Tej in cd case even not giving benefit of doubt to him.
He is extreme character. He will show emotion to extreme. He will not take one second to sacrifice himself for his family whom he love. But he will not take one second to cut off the person from his life who betray him. He asks sorry if he thinks he has done something wrong and he can be aggressive when he thinks someone is hurting his loved one.
He can be calm like ocean but he can show tsunami if provoked.
He is complicated. This guy will always have trust issues.
Only trait that has got butchered in dbo is om intelligence , understanding and his dignified language.
I hated the language that he spoke to Gauri like characterless , gold digger. Because that was out of character for him.
In ishaqbaaz shivay distrust Anika whenever she tried to bring out truth of Tia and nafratbaaaz.
But here atleast om trust his bua maa whom he love after jhanvi but people are reacting how can he.
How can someone imagine that his mother like figure who love him so much want to harm him. It will be illogical if Om would have believed gauri not bua maa.
He does not trust gauri enough to put her up to bua maa.
