Happy Fathers day
Aarti we have celebrated five years of marriage all of which has not been great but we made it. I am married to you longer than I was married to Aripta.
Yes, Yash the beginning of our life together was rocky but we made it and we have our five kids to prove it. They were in their room sitting on the love seat arms around each other looking at the many pictures on the wall. Yash do you miss the old decor of this room when you had Aripta ji photo everywhere and all her clothes and stuff in the cupboards?
No baby I don't I live in the present now and only think about the future with you and our kids. Aripta was a part of my past she is the biological mother of our girls and my first wife but our relationship was not meant to last she was just a bump in the road I had to cross to reach to my true life partner you my sweet. Tell me my love do you still miss Prashant?
Hell, no are you crazy Yash I admit I was under a delusion that we would get back together because he still loved his parents and for Ansh. That bubble burst the day before our marriage remember when you found me at the temple I had met him there hoping that he would take both Ansh and I back but he was only interested in getting back into his parents' house he told me that he had married the woman he left me for and was very happy and insulted me calling me a selfish bitch. Yash how stupid could I be the man both physically and mentally abused me had an affair with another woman left me pregnant and divorce me yet I wanted him back all because I believed in tradition and wanted a family. My girls are going to be smarter than me they will not put up with that crap if their husband abuse them then it is divorce with no turning back and they will have my full support to be independent not that bullshit to return to your husband and take the abuse because to have to please society, family and maintain tradition.
My JKR cool down no man will abuse our girls beside we have years yet before we think about their marriages and until that time they will learn what is right and what is wrong. We will be their example about marriage and relationships.
You are a good man Yash, a loving father and husband you approach your responsibility with a calm head that is just another reason why I love you so much.
Speaking about being a good father tomorrow is father's day I wonder what our imps are planning?
In the girl's room eleven-year-old Ansh, almost eleven Palak her birthday was a few days away, nine-year-old Payal, four-year-old Aayu and one and half-year-old baby Aarushi were finalizing planning their father's day celebration.
Vidhi's kids joined them and a plan was made to have an early morning cricket match followed by lunch now the kids had saved their money and decided to have lunch catered, dinner the Scindhia ladies would cook, breakfast would be made by the kids with the help of the servants.
The following morning the kids got up early before the ladies and made breakfast each Scindhia men had their favorite dish. Then Dubey nanaji, and Aripta's papa who was now married to Maya had his made also along with Paridhi's papa who also was invited for breakfast and the fun filled day.
G3 who was now wheelchair bound the second surgery on her knees did not help resolve her problem. Using crutches helped her to move around the ground floor and outside but sometimes it was just too painful and her knees would give away under her.
Aarti is the ever helpful bahu taking G3's responsibility wheeled her outside for the cricket match even the servants were part of the teams.
Lunch was served under the tent in the garden then the kids give the dads and granddads their gifts, all the men received gifts even the male servants because the kids called them uncle too.
After lunch all had a rest Yash, of course, wanted to be romantic with Aarti but she stopped him and told the kids to come into their room and they all made a bed on the floor and the kids slept with their papa while Aarti slept on the bed Yash was not happy but Aarti made him understand that today was about him and their kids and this is what their kids wanted.
In the kitchen, the ladies cooked and laughed mostly about their husbands. Maya was a very happy woman being married agreed with her "buaji how is married life asked Paridhi
"Very good bahu I have traveled to different parts of our beautiful country and this time it was not for pray. I am having my own credit card and my husband don't mind tagging along for shopping , in fact, he chooses my clothes and I must say I like his style
Paridhi "yes he has good taste you look younger now
"Paridhi! shouted Vidhi
"Vidhi bahu I don't mind what Paridhi bahu is saying she is right I look and feel younger now. What I missed out on in my youth I am lucky to have found a man who is also young at heart and has the stamina to take me to new places and experiences
Aarti whispered to Vidhi I wonder if she is talking about in bed and they giggled
Dinner time was pleasant with lots of jokes and stories told, after there was dancing and lots of pictures were taken to be stored in the Scindhia albums for the next generation.
