I remember when Mohini caught the pair of them in a room together and asked Preet what her name was. Preet didn't say anything because she didn't want to reveal her name but Raj looked at the calendar and got the name 'Preeti' from it. To my knowledge, she never corrected him about the name.
When Manu's pagdi fell off in the reveal scene, Raj said 'Preet' in a shocked voice. Who told him her name was Preet though? This is such a blooper! When Preet came to his room to talk to him later, Raj snapped at her about her duplicity by saying sometimes she appears as Sardar, sometimes as Manu, sometimes as Preeti and sometimes as Preet. Who told you about Preet? Didn't he find it odd when she let him continue to call her Preet? I would be surprised if I thought up a nickname for someone and it turned out to be their real name but the 'issue' wasn't addressed here.
It is possible that he realised her 'girl name' would be Preet from Manpreet but still...
