Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum, though not a new member on IF. I started watching the show a few days back. Though I havent watched all the episodes from the beginning, I did understand what the story is all about in the last few ones.

Madhav seems to be an aspiring politician, who falls in love with Kamini, a beautiful actress. Well..well, no doubt a great love story.

However, there is a big hurdle. Madhav is MARRIED!!! With a Kid!!!

Now Madhav's wife Vijay Lakshmi is an extremely shrewd and intelligent woman who hails from a powerful political family.

Yes, the CVs are doing all they can to portray Vijay Lakshmi as the 'evil wife' 😈 to justify Madhav's extra-marital affair, but despite their efforts, the messed up morales of the lead characters have not lost in translation for me. 👎🏼

Today, there was an altercation between the 2 fathers. Father of Kamini and father of Vijay Lakshmi. Now this show is based on Madhav and Kamini. So, obviously, Kamini's father has to be the 'winner' in the argument and come out victorius by blaming Rana Sahb of being a scam-driven corrupt politician. Needless to say, he walked out of the house victorius, having defeated Rana Sahb in argument with music of victory playing in the background.

How cleverly, the CVs portrayed...it is OK for a man to cheat on his wife, if her father is a corrupt politician.

But today...the fight was not about political scams. It was about the institution of marriage. Granted Rana Sahb is a cunning man, but TODAY, he was right, in my opinion. Madhav may have brought in Kamini, but the latter too is not innocent in this. She is willingly engaging in extra-marital affair. And surprisingly, her 'Sanskari' parents are supporting it!!!

On the other hand Vijay Lakshmi, though a supposedly 'evil' woman is actually the one who is trying to save her marriage by hook or crook. But unlike the other Sanskari bahus onscreen, she isn't screeching or giving out lectures on how 'Agni Ko Sakshi Maanke' Madhav had married her. Instead she is handling the situation like a boss, deftly covering up inner emotions all the while.

I came to this forum to check if I was the only one feeling. But I was disappointed to see not a single post on this topic.

Nonetheless, my question is...How justified is this? This extramarital affair?

Are the CVs trying to portray it is alright to cheat on your partner if he/she is more shrewd than you?

Please note...I love fresh concepts. What I dont love is glorification of warped morales.

I absolutely have nothing against the actors. I like Keith and Sanjeeda. This post is to know the opinions of you all...

I am not watching from the start but there should a reason why madhav wants divorce his wife.

Agree though their love is not hustfied, Madhav is not even legally seprated. Yes it is a extra-material affair

Good post... I often watch this show... It was not good to showcase extramarital affair as truest form of love... Fresh stories are always welcomed, but extramariral affair not have any morals in it... Actors are doing great job, and i like all actors in the show...

It is good that this has come up.

I was also thinking about the same. Also they are showing that divorce has been filed but still Madhav & Vijaylaxmi are still in the same house !!

There has to be some other reason for Madhav to have an extra marital affair.

But all the actors are doing their job in an excellent mannner.

I do not support Madhav and Kamini s stand here. It is absolutely degrading:
1. Love is natural and it happens. But these two lovers could have waited till the divorce is completed. Instead Madhav invites them in the same house to see her TO BE SASURAL. Madhav is the typical MAN who does not have any feeling towards other's feelings - he does his way. His mother is a spineless WOMAN. For Madhav - it is quite natural to bring Kamini in the haveli and he can insult RANA SHAB to prove his point. At the end, he has maharaja.
2. But Kamini - how come she accepts it and so her parents. Her parents are as shameless as her. Over it, they are recklessly making love in the haveli where the parents are also present. There has to be some LOC for me.
Both Kamini and Madhav's character is very selfish and disrespectful.
If Kamini's sis comes in will Madhav fall in for her as well and then ditch kamini.

i m not a fan of extramarital dramas

Makers are trying hard to justify the character of madhav and kamini by degrading vijyalaxmi and her father.(like kamini was poisoned by vijyalaxmi in todays apisode and showing her father as corrupt and evil mam) But they are failing to justify their characters.They are disrespecting the institution of marriage.They could have waited till divorce and madhav should also think about madhvi. He is blind in the love of kamini. Knowingly or unknowingly kamini is breaking so many relationships. Though such things happen in real life too but that does not justify this kind of track in a show. I am watching this show because of preetika rao. i read that she is playing sanjeeda's daughter but writer is now saying that she will be sanjida's sister.I hope her character

will not be like kamini. Though i like sanjeeda sheikh but not the character kamini

Its an affair simple as that n no justification of evil wifey or true love can change it. Just coz kamini came into his life later he should finally decide to end his marriage because his true love justifies everything else?

If they had started with madhav unhappy in his married life and trying to end it and then meeting kamini while separated their love story could maybe be accepted coz then though not legally free at least their relationship would have started on a less scandalous note. Kamini willing to be with him despite his marital status and kid makes her look so bad and stupid coz in most cases the guy never leaves the wife. Madhav also has his mom, his future political career, his powerful FIL and the most important factor his daughter to think of.

What madhav and kamini r doing and how stupidly her parents r supporting this makes it look so bad. So what if vijaylakshmi n her dad r the bad guys n have their own interests madhav is also wrong in having an affair without ending his marriage or at least being legally separated before engaging in his affair of true love lol

Love stories which we root for might have millions of obstacles but they r worth it coz they r pure coz their isnt any destruction of other ppl in its wake. It can be single, divorced or widowed ppl but it should be justified n make sense not im unhappy but hey lets have an affair n then flaunt our love in front of my family who i still live with lol if madhav was right he should have already had ending this marriage right away or when he couldnt try anymore not coz he found his tru love coz this makes them look bad.

If kamini left him and he came to her after getting a divorce it would have been better then they could start fresh but her family n her acting like fools while his wife n daughter live in the palace and rana guy also gets insulted coz he is corrupt so his daughter deserves this is ridiculous lol

I hope the cvs take care coz im not finding any reasons to root for madhav n kamini at all right now.

I am glad that I am not the only one who finds Kamini and her family too selfish or Madhav to be an indecent guy.

He was planning to make love with his gf when his wife is still present in the house!! Such a selfish outlook.

No matter how much the CVs try to justify this by villifying Vijay Lakshmi or her father, this so-called Love whose intezaar Madhav was doing is absolutely wrong. He could have divorced his wife first and then brought the new girl home.

Rana Sahb might be a corrupt politician but I absolutely agreed with him yesterday. Kamini's father conveniently covered up his daughter's mistake by bringing up the scams of Rana Sahb, but viewers are not idiots.

Extramarital affair can never be justified. Cheating is cheating. There is no justification on why you cheat your spouse. If you want to cheat then don't get married in the first place. Marriage is a committed relationship and when you enter it with sacred vows then you should try your best to fulfill it. Madhav seems to be an arrogant guy, who only thinks about his own happiness. Oh my! the way he was talking to Rana sahib was disgusting to the core. So what if Rana sahib is a corrupted man, he still is a father of his wife and he cares about his daughter like any other parents. But the way Madhav treated his wife's father was pukeworthy, I hope nobody gets a son in law like Madhav. This guy doesn't have an ounce of respect for his wife. He is playing with her feelings openly. I feel sad for her and the kid. And this so called actress Kamini and her family have so easily blinded their eyes, they can't even see that they are destroying life's of many innocent people involved in this. And the most funny part is the makers are trying to justify it showing the wife and her father as dangerous people. To me the most annoying characters are Madhav and Kamini not the loyal wife who is hellbent on saving her marriage.
