PART 14
Raman went to sleep in the study while ishita was just looking at his retreating figure. She was confused at Raman's behaviour, at one side she was feeling that Raman is really not physically fine and thats why they r not able to take their relationship to the next level but on other side she couldn't stop herself from thinking that may be Raman is running away from her intentionally.
She was thinking and thinking and thinking and finally got up feeling restless. She walked to and fro in the room and then stand infront of the mirror. She looked herself thourougly in the mirror and said-itni buri toh nahi lag rahin, ki raman don't even want to touch me. Infact he caressed my face and said that I am looking beautiful. I think I should go and ask raman only, that is there any problem. Haan yahin thik rahega. Thinking so she went to the study and looked around but couldn't see Raman anywhere.
Ishita-raman, raman Aap Kahan ho. She was calling him when she heard noise from washroom.
She ran to the washroom and knocked the door only to find it ajar. She went inside and got shocked to see Raman standing holding his head with both his hands like he was in great pain.
Ishita ran to him and said-kya hua raman.
Raman -dont know, I wasn't feeling well, so I came to wash my face and then suddenly my head start spinning, bahut dard ho raha hai, ahh. He said falling on ishita.
Ishita hugged him tight and take him out of the washroom shouting for romi and simmi. They came running hearing ishita's shout asking-kya hua bhabhi maa. And next moment they got worried seeing raman.
Simmi-bhabhi maa, bhai ko kya hua. She said almost crying.
Ishita-nothing beta, I think he stressed himself much, that's why he is not feeling well. Romi come and help me. Raman ko thik se letao.
Romi came running and helped ishita to make raman lay comfortably. Till the time they reached the bed, raman was lost her senses feeling immense pain.
Romi and simmi got scared to hell seeing Raman's condition. They were standing side by side holding each other's hand feeling scared.
Ishita checked raman and found his bp was very high. Ishita gave him injection and said to romi and simmi-ur bhai is absolutely fine now, I told him to rest but he was go on working, go on stressing himself and that resulted in high bp which increased his pain in his head to no end. Actually he is not very fine to handle all the stress so his condition got worse. But now he is OK and resting. U two also go to ur room and rest.
Romi-hum yahin rahenge, bhai ke paas. He said scared of seeing Raman's condition.
Simmi-haan bhabhi maa, hum bhai ke hi paas rahenge.
Ishita-i told u naa to rest, I am with ur bhai. I am not only his wife but doctor too. I will take care of him. Tum dono rest karo, kal college bhi jaana hai naa.
Romi and simmi nodded and was going but both turned and ran to her. They hugged ishita tight and asked -bhai thik hai naa bhabhi maa. Asking so they cried.
Ishita could feel their restlessness, she caressed their back lovingly and said-tumhare bhaiya, ek dum thik hai. Kal kab uthenge naa toh danttna unko, aise koi darata hai apne chote tindey ko. She said smile meekly making them smile too.
Soon they broke the hug and went back to their rooms to sleep while ishita sat beside raman and pecked his temple softly.
Ishita-aise koi darata hai apni ishita ko, u don't know mujh par kya beeti, I was half dead seeing u in that condition. She was caressing his hair softly and was saying when he said in his sleep, I am sorry ishita.
Hearing this ishita realised the reason for his tension. She caressed his head and said-aisi koi itni badi baat nahi hui thi raman that u took so much stress.i am ur wife, mujhe bura nahi lagaa tha, it's really OK babu, aap please khud ko tense mat kijiye, she said and slide next to him and very soon she too slept hugging him tight. Raman too kept his head on her chest and cuddled more into her.
Next morning, raman got up feeling softness under him. He open his eyes only to see ishita sleeping next to him hiding him in her arms, he too was sleeping carelessly in her arms like that place is just for him. He raised his head and start admiring her, she was sleeping peacefully with a contented smile on her face.
Raman smiled seeing her smile and said-i will never let this smile wipe off ur face ishita, tum mere liye sab kuch chod kar aayi ho, I will try my best to keep u happy. Tumhare aankhon se ek bhi aansu nahi behne dunga, I promise I will try my level best to give u what u deserve. He said pecking her temple softly.
Ishita wake up feeling his touch and saw raman looking at her.
Ishita smiled and said-good morning Raman.
Raman -good morning. Slept well.
Ishita nodded and said-aap the jinki tabiyat kharab thi and u r asking me whether I slept well. I told u naa not to stress urself but aapne apni tabiyat kharab kar li.not fair, iss tarah koi darata hai apne biwi aur bhai behen ko. U know romi simmi were crying. Main bhi kitna darr gayi thi.
Raman-sorry ishita, I don't wanted to but ho gaya, aur waise bhi agar biwi doctor ho toh thoda faayda toh uthana hi chahiye, now see I don't have to pay u anything. He said winking.
Ishita made a perfect O hearing him and said-matlab faayda uthane ke liye aap mujhe aise pareshan karenge.
Raman -ofcourse, infact I will bother u more like this. He said smiling making her smile too.
Raman saw her smiling and said-but jokes apart, I am really sorry about yesterday, he was saying when ishita cut him and said-no need to apologize again and again raman, infact I am sorry to make u uncomfortable. So I have decided that we will not move ahead in relationship till u feel comfortable. Koi zarurat nahi khud ko stress karne ki, mere har cheez se jyada important aapki health hai. She said looking deep into his eyes. Raman too look at her, they shared an eyelock which got broken by knock on the door.
Ishra composed themselves and ishita went to open the door. Romi simmi came inside in a jiffy and asked hugging raman tight, how r u now bhai. We were so scared for u
Raman hugged them back and said-i am perfectly fine baba, kuch nahi hua mujhe. See I am all OK. He said and they sighed in relief, raman saw ishita looking at them smiling, he called ishita also and hugged the trio tight while they closed their eyes feeling happy.
Slowly days start passing, everything start becoming normal in bhalla house. Romi and simmi start going to their college. Raman started going to his office. His business condition was too bad, ashgun had taken much money from his business making it financially weak, so raman had to work harder to take his business back on position. In between all this ashgun trial also started and after many trials they were convicted and sentenced lifetime imprisonment. Everyone got happy that finally ashgun got what they deserved.
Everything in bhalla house is back on track except ishra's relationship.it was still on the same place where it was on the first day. Yes they have been married for more then a month but Raman never tried to come close to ishita and fearing his health ishita too never tried to get intimate with him.
One day, she took raman for test as he always complain of weakness whenever she talk about taking their relationship ahead. .doctors did his test and told to fax the report as soon as they get it.
Ishra came back and raman went to his office while ishita was sitting in her room waiting for the reports .
After waiting for long, she finally got the fax.she opened it in a jiffy and read it, only to read that Raman is physically all good with no problems.
Ishita sat on the couch thinking-raman ki reports to ekdum normal hai, then why he is going to saying that he is feeling weakness and need time to go ahead in our relationship. It's been more then a month since our marriage but we hadn't even kissed properly forgot about anything else. Aakhir aisa kya hai joh raman bhaag rahe hai mujhse, is something really wrong with him or I am overlooking something obvious. She was thinking but couldn't get any proper answer.
That day when raman came back, ishita tried to talk to him but he went to his study in pretext of working on some project.
Days start passing, slowly raman distanced a little more from ishita. Though he never fails to pamper her with gifts and his little gestures but he wasnt interested in doing more then that, making ishita confused and sad day by day.
Though all were showering their love on her, still she was feeling empty without Raman's love.
One day, raman and mihir was working on a project in Raman's study when mihir said-bhai, I wanna ask u something.
Raman -haan bol. He said looking at the file.
Mihir-whats wrong between u and bhabhi. He asked meekly making raman look at him.
Raman closed the file and said-ishita ne kuch kaha kya.
Mihir-nahi bhabhi kahan kuch kehti hai. But we all can feel. Woh ab kam bolti hai, kam hasti hai. Is everything alright between u two.
Raman nodded in yes.
Mihir -romi was telling that u two sleep in different rooms. Koi problem hai kya. He said cupping his alive making raman look at him in anger.
Raman -tu apne kaam se kaam nahi rakh sakta.
Mihir went close to him and said-i can see something is wrong with u. Tell me kya problem hai, trust me bhai, u can share ur problem with me.
Raman look down and said-i am not able to keep her happy. She want me to take our relationship ahead but I am not comfortable.
Mihir looked at Raman with questioning eyes.
Raman looked down and said-i don't wanna hurt her but the truth is I don't love her. He said looking down while got stunned hearing his confession.
