At last, Aanand L Rai has found the 2nd heroine for his film with Shah Rukh Khan. Past few months, many speculations were doing rounds as to who will be Shah Rukh Khan's leading lady in the film besides Katrina Kaif?
And now the suspense is over as Anushka Sharma has come on board.
Reportedly, SRK plays a dwarf in the film, Anushka plays a mentally challenged character and Katrina plays herself. SpotboyE has learnt that Anushka's role in the film is far more impactful and stronger than Katrina.
We also hear that after Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt were unable to commit to the film, Aanand approached Anushka. The actress found the role challenging and agreed to do it. She also shares a great rapport with SRK and Katrina, and decided to come on board instantly.
Aanand L Rai was spotted visiting Anushka Sharma's house two weeks back, now we know what the reason was.
Interestingly, this trio has worked together in Yash Chopra's last film-Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Also, it will be 4th time we will see Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan romance each other. Anushka's debut film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi was with SRK, and then the duo worked together in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and now they are completing Imtiaz Ali's untitled next.
It's being said that Anushka has to sort out her dates yet as she is busy shooting for her home production Pari.
Meanwhile, SRK has already started shooting for the film as it will require a lot of VFX work.
