Vivek Oberoi attends acid attack survivor's wedding in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi attended the wedding of acid attack survivor Lalita Benbansi to Rahul Kumar in Mumbai. Vivek took to Twitter to wish the couple and share photos from the wedding.

While posting pictures, Vivek Oberoi wrote, "Amazng luv stry of my lil sistr Lalita Bansi,an acid attack survivor,gt married 2day 2 n amazng man Ravi Shankar who luvs her fr who she is!"

"Lalita is a true hero cz she proves 2 1000s of acid attck survivors nationwide tht this isnt a full stp,jst a comma,lyf hs mny possibilities." he further tweeted.

According to reports, Vivek Oberoi has gifted Lalita Benbansi an apartment in Thane.

26-six-year-old Lalita was a victim of an acid attack in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. In 2012, her cousins threw acid over her due to personal enmity. Owing to complete face burn, Lalita underwent 17 surgeries. Her treatment will now resume post her wedding.

Lalita and Rahul's love story is no less than a Bollywood romance. It all started with a wrong number when the latter dialed the former's number accidentally. The two got along like a house on fire, and after two months they decided to get married.

27-year-old Rahul works as a CCTV operator in Malad.

Designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla designed Lalita's wedding dress and presented her a necklace.
