(Omkaara had been in bad shape when his brothers and wife reached him. He was curled up on his bed with the shaking and sweating as he was before. His paints were in the floor with two or three of the sculptures broken. Perhaps, he had been searching for the white powder everywhere in his room but found nothing as Gauri had taken it to the brothers. Pieces of glass pierced in Om's feet 😵😒...his brothers & wife must be going through hell seeing him tormented & badly injured from both mental & physical aspect...😭

Gauri's hand holding & ShivRu's tenderness gave Om peace...😊🤗

OM was given sedatives...ya truly that shows Om's condition deteriorated...😭😭 But atleast he slept for the time being...

Rudra's last word made her teary-eyed. At least one person in the house ad accepted her. She still didn't know what fate had in store for her or her relationship with Omkaara but she was not even thinking about that at the moment; she, like his brothers, wanted Omkaara to get better.)---- Rudy is the darling as ever...even in midst of darkness, he managed to sooth Gauri's heart with hope...True that Shivaay won't let anything happen to his brother...& now Rudy's also beside him...🤗😊 That's like our selfless Gauri...she never thinks about herself...Om has always been her priority & he will always remain in the no. 1 position in her priority list...😳

Gauri gave the amlas to the doctor for examining them ...good lord she did that...yippee!! GKS...no...no...it's GOSO...a.k.a Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi...is the best...🤗

Om love his brothers more than anyone else 😃...he was tired but the idea of cooking with his brothers gave him all the energy he needed to keep moving...

(Shivaay was already in his apron and hat; OmRu grabbed theirs soon. And Shivaay gave the task of cutting veggies to Omkaara; something he was really good at. Then, he looked at Rudra pondering over what task to be given to him.

"Arre main toh sabse important kaam krne wala hun."

"Khane kaa?" Both said in unison

"Nahi; gaane ka! Humara OBro song!"

Both facepalmed themselves mentally. Rudra came in between his brothers and put his hand on their shoulders.

Zindagi mil ke bitayenge

Hum tho saat rang hai

Shivaay joined Rudra in the third line. Omkaara looked at them emotionally. It was such a long time since they had done this.

Shivaay looked at his brothers to join in with him and they did exactly that.

And then he saw his bhabhi standing on one side, smiling at them; perhaps, so lost that she didn't notice Rudra observing her.

"Gauri bhabhi, aap bhi aao na"

Shivaay felt it weird that Rudra was so soft-hearted towards this girl. He glared his younger brother as he thought Om would get angry at that. Exactly what Gauri was thinking and precisely the reason she did not respond to Rudra's call.

"Gauri! Come!"

For some reason, he had felt like calling her too. He remembered her holding his hand in the morning and the way that it gave him support and made him feel stronger. She hadn't asked for anything from him; instead she was by his side, in the time when apart from his brothers and sometimes his sister, none from the family could ever console him. The behaviour should have been opposite, had she been a gold digger- but she had been near him; trying to pacify him without any fear. Both RiRu became elated at him calling her in their moment. Shivaay was sceptical but as always; he was happy if Om was.

Rudra chanted;"Dil bole

Everyone (including Gauri): Oberoi"

She felt as if a part of him had accepted her as his wife today.)----- This scene just took my heart away😃... The way Rudy called his Gauri Bhabhi...& then surprisingly even Om called her after thinking about her behaviour since morning, thinking about her support & care ...Gauri was on cloud nine, after all her Shankar ji answered her prayers even if not fully, still partially as Om called her in the Obros moment...😃😊 Appy, this scene was damn touching & emotional...you nailed it...👏

Doctor-ShivKara scene was full of important information on the contains of those amla...& how Gauri helped to Shivaay to uncover the secret behind those amlas...😊😃

Om's analyzation about Gauri's behaviour & ways & even Shivaay giving credit to her makes him fall for her, but he fears to love her 😳...the hesitation is clear when Om's POV is considered...Appy, perfect choice of words to describe the feelings...👍🏼😎

Shivaay got convinced to leave for his room after OmRu persuaded him & Rudra mentioned Gauri...Shivaay totally trusts RiRu for looking after Om...😃😊

Om's struggles increased as his condition worsened 😒...Rudy panicked & decided to run to medical store to buy sedatives...& Gauri went to give him the prescription...inn sab mein Om k room ka darwaza band ho gaya, now he is alone again...oh no!! even I am frightened like RiRu...😲

That Svet came back to OM!!!😡😡 And from where did she enter Om's room!!? 😕😲

Svet got successful in breaking OM's determination to fight the darkness...& she managed to touch his weakest spot to break him...she gave him overdose...😡

Finally, Om's door was threw open, but they were late...😭😭

Appy, you just broke lots of hearts with this update...have to read the other update right now or else I won't be able to sleep...😒😭

Appy, hats off for doing complete justice while writing this update 👏👏...when we read it we can feel the turmoil & tension🤢...don't know what you must have felt while writing this shot!! 😲 must have been difficult for you to write it as it is so perfect so i guess you must have lived every emotion while writing...😭

Tej reached hospital too...crying & shattered 😵...he does need to learn a lesson 😡😡...but, as Janhvi thought, not at the cost of Om's life...😒😔

Gauri is broken & in angst 😭😭...Rudy supported her & shared the fear & turmoil😭 together...

Janhvi, finally akal aa gayi iss aurat ko...ab jab beta maut k muh mein hai toh she is giving divorce to her husband 😲🤪...I mean, are they serious..Om is fighting between life & death & his parents are playing the divorce game right now!!!😲😡

And even if TejVi signed the divorce papers right away, they won't get a legal divorce until 6 months toh jab itna intezaar kiye toh Om k thik hone k baad ye sab drama kiya hota...!! Om is in death bed & see his parents conscience!! Divorce ki padhi hai inko...😡

Janhvi should have taken that step long back if she would have got sensible & strong before...And Tej...!! I don't even want to speak about that creep...😡😡😡

But on a serious note...TejVi never understood Om properly...whatsoever Om says, he actually cares too much for his parents relationship...he wants to see his mom & dad smiling together & happy with each other...that's why he has been trying long to stop Svet & the likes of her to reach & tough his parents married life...but gradually he started giving up on the fact that Tej can change & love & respect Janhvi, so he was doing everything for Janhvi...par pata nhi kyun aisa lagta hai, Om does want to see his parents smiling & in love again someday...& then he may get peace properly...

I am back to my writing at least for some more time! I am so g;ad that you guys have supported me so far. To those, who are waiting for the other story- that also I am going to update soon. Hopefully, I haven't made the track OTT but its necessary because drugs can actually have far worse effects and that really needed to be dealt with properly. That's where this SS has come from. I haven't sent PM's this time, sorry for the same. Enjoy!

Shot-6

This was another shock to the two brothers- something they were scared might happen. Shivaay looked apologetically towards Omkaara from the small window on the wall; who was having hard time breathing at the moment- he had failed him as the protector yet again. It looked as if everything was going out of hands.

She carried an expressionless face: no doubt she blamed herself, for having falling weak, for not having shielded her son from the hurts caused to her by her so called husband. The brothers could not gather enough courage to ask or say anything to her at the moment. They mentally decided that the priority for now was the one who was in a life-death situation. Rest could be taken care of later.

Dr. Sahni: Mr. Shivaay, a good news, we can carry on the surgery. The patient's blood pressure is under control. I need you to sign the papers while we prepare or it. We do not have much time to lose.

Her statement breathed some life in the Oberois. Rudra and Gauri had hopped near Shivaay to hear what the doctor had to say. However, Shivaay's hands were shaking as he took the papers.

"Mai bacha nahi paaya usko"

She knew that her elder brother-in-law had not accepted her; however, observing Rudra also losing his composure and Anika bhaujayi at a loss of words- she spoke up.

"Humne Rudy bhaiya aur Omkaara se suna tha, ki aap is ghar ki deewar hai. Aur ye deewar itni aasani se toh nai giregi na? Omkaara ji thik ho jaenge- aakhir unke bhai unke sath hai; sankar ji pe bharosa rakhiye"

Shivaay raised his brow and looked at her. She surprised him always with her confidence and made him chuckle on her words- the great wall became deewar.

Anika and Rudra put their hands on Shivaay's shoulders. He knew he needed to catch a grip on himself and sign the papers. It broke their heart to see him covered with various tubes, almost looking lifeless as they shifted him to the operation theatre.

"Bhabhi, hum Shankar ji se pray karenge toh O thik ho jaenge na."

His calling her bhabhi every time made her smile, though this time, his innocence was another reason today.

"Haan, Shankar ji apke O bhaiya ko thik kar denge"

The doctor came in with an elated face. The middle Oberoi brother was saved, however, yet to come into consciousness. In all the hustle-bustle, no one noticed Tej Singh Oberoi, sitting in one corner. Jhanvi was sent to home by the brothers with the promise to be called in as soon as Om was conscious. She left the hospital with Anika without even glancing at him.

He hadn't opened his eyes, yet. He could feel himself breathing and some murmuring. He could feel Shivaay caressing his head and faint voices of Rudra. It felt as if he was very far.

"Bhaiya, I promise, mai O ko kabhi akela nahi chodunga. Mai..."

He couldn't comprehend much but he knew his family was hurt. He promised himself that he would not do any such stupidity again. He wanted to grab both his brothers and tell them that he was fine and that no matter what he would never leave them. He was engulfed with guilt. He tried opening his eyes but the lack of energy in his body didn't let him.

"Omkaara ji jald hi hos mei aa jaenge"

Tej came to the real world and looked up to see who was talking to him. The petite frame girl who had saved his family by being his daughter-in-law stood in front of her. Didn't she hate him as much as the others?

"Sab galat hogya, meri wajah se. Aj Tej Singh Oberoi haar gaya par sach kahun toh mai Omkaara se bahut pyar karta hun just like every father. Pta nahi ye sab kya hota chala gya. Apne ego mein, maine apne hi bete ko maut ke munh mein dhakel diya"

Shivaay got a call on his phone as he and Rudra sat next to Om. The change in his mood from desperation to seething anger was palpable. He went out to take the call.

As Rudra looked at his brother going out, his eyes went on Gauri, looking anticipatively at his brother. She had all the rights, as of now, to see her husband; with that thought he invited her inside.

Her heart melt once again to see him in that condition. For some time, she forgot about her not being accepted by him as wife. She took his hands in hers.

He was oscillating between consciousness and unconsciousness. Shivaay's hand was no more caressing his head though someone seemed to hold his hand but it couldn't be one of his brothers- it was soft.

"Jitne charges laga skte ho laga do iss par. She should never get out of jail. She has not only lied about her family but made my brother consume the drug!"

Svetlana should have thought who she was messing up with. Now that his brother was fine; he would do everything possible to make her life a living hell. She had no idea what Shivaay Singh Oberoi could become when it was about his brothers.

He then called his wife to know badi maa's condition. Though, she said that badi maa looked fine- it only left him more worried. He sighed deeply and went back to the I.C.U. The scene brought a little smile on his face. Omkaara looked peaceful in his sleep as did his two other attendants- Gauri, on one side, and Rudra on the other- his head touching Om's shoulder. Shivaay pulled a chair for himself and took one of the sides for himself.

(Around some 6 am)

Perhaps, it was early morning. Everything was quiet near him. His hands were still in those softer hands and he could feel someone's head near him. He liked the voice of cuckoo which he heard distantly. Finally, he opened his eyes to see his two brothers sleeping near him. They looked exhausted, perhaps, from all the mental stress that his condition had caused them. He caressed Rudra's head slowly.

"O! bhaiya! Bhaiya! Dekho O uth gye"

Shivaay and Gauri woke up with a start on hearing Rudra's voice. Gauri went in to call the nurse.

"Tu fikar mat kar, tu thik hai ekdum."

Omkaara struggled to speak. Since his voice was unclear, his brothers bent towards him to listen to what he had to say.

"Na... raa...z hai... muj...se?"

Shivaay's eyes became watery on hearing this- this, which hadn't changed since childhood. Om would always ask this question whenever he did something self-destructive.

"Nahi.. bas thda sa khud se hun; ki ye sab mere hote hue hua. Par ab tu fikar mat kar. Mere liye, pehle mere bhai aur phir aur koi ayega."

Om weakly smiled at him. He noticed her standing on one corner looking at him- was it her hand which he held since sometime- probably two hours or whole night- he had no idea how much time had passed.

The doctor came in some half an hour. Being an Oberoi had perks, he was given the best treatment and doctor had come in early only to check upon him.

Shivaay, Rudra and Gauri waited in anticipation; however, it was only Shivaay on whose face, stress was clearly etched. They all got up as the doctor came.

Dr.Sahni: The patient is out of danger, however...

The however made Shivaay's heart sank. In past two days that Om was in the hospital, he had read all kinds of articles about strokes and they had scared the hell out of him.

Shivaay: However??

Dr. Sahni: He has partial paralysis in his lower body. Theres' nothing to worry though- I know a person who gives a therapy and it doesn't look very bad. The only thing is that he charges a huge price but I am sure that you can manage that.

Shivaay: Ofcourse, I can! Just send him right away. I'll double the amount and pay him.

Dr. Sahni: Breathe, Mr. Shivaay. Your brother is fine. And he appsalutely will once he gets the therapist. All you need is someone, maybe a nurse who can be with him all 24 hours for next 3-4 months.

The doctor made an exit after speaking. A wave of relief came over the brothers and Shivaay asked the youngest to inform badi maa. He needed someone trustworthy for his brother.

"Bade bhaiya?"

"Haan kaho?"

"Kya hum Omkaara ji ka khayal rakh skte ha jab tak wo oori tarah thik nahi ho jaate?"

"dekho Gauri..."

"Bade bhaiya, hum kisi umeed ke sath ye nahi puch rahe hai. Jaise hi Omkaara ji thik honge hum khud chale jaenge; ye waada hai humara. Par abhi ke liye hume unke paas rehne dijiye."

She asked him with such innocence that he couldn't say no. His NKK rbelief had already been shaken by Anika. And this girl, was constantly making him believe of how much she loved Om. He noticed the brightening of her face as he agreed to her proposal; however, he didn't know whether Om would like it.

He peeped in the ICU where his son lay alone as of now minus a wardboy whom Shivaay had asked to stay till the brothers were back- they were called for some hospital formalities. Gauri went to a temple nearby to thank her Shankarji for saving Omkaara's life. Half asleep and closed eyes, he asked for water.

Tej took the glass; supported Om's head with one hand and lifted the glass to his mouth with the other. He was glad that his son didn't open his eyes- probably because of the medications and weakness or he would have gotten hyper. This was the only time when he could see him- with no one in the vicinity and when he was tight asleep. As he rested his head back on the hospital pillow, he apologised to him a 100^th time as he had done in past two days in his mind.

Shivaay and Gauri who had reached by the time looked on silently at the father-son duo while Rudra still doing some payments at the counter. They looked at each other agreeing to the fact that Tej Singh Oberoi did love his son deeply and deserved one more chance to mend his relationship with his wife and son.
