The show is disappointing, if that is the reason to complain and feel let down, then let us do a reality check to justify one way or other such a feeling!

First, have a look at what were promised!

It is a romantic thriller! - Romance is still there & thriller -may be, as many mysteries are yet to be revealed!

It is beyhadh! - So far it is ok, but still a long way to go! So hopefully beyhadh will be achieved at final climax!

Hadh se zyadha kuch bhi achchha nahi hota, pyar bhi nahi! We are witnessing beyhadh pyar! - Is it good or bad? The jury is still out!

The story revolves around three persons highlighting two shades of love. obsessive love & pure/selfless love! - Yes the story revolves around Maya, Arjun & Saannjh! we are seeing obsessive love! we are yet to see any pure/selfless love!

So, by and large, can one say that things are going as per plan!

What were not promised but might be still presumed as central theme!

It is a story of a mentally ill person& there should be some social message for child abusers!
The story revolves around the life of only one person & should have a positive ending for main leads!
Revenge killing is justifiable! Crimes can be condoned, if it is an act of self-defence or pre-emptive defence!
The above might be some expectations which were definitely not promised!

If it is indeed the case, can anyone feel let down?

Nothing to discuss, show is dragging, no progress whatsoeve. Same thing going on for a while. This shuld have been a 50 to 100 episode show.

The show and forum are not pathetic but the mentality of indian audiences/choice of favorite serials are pathetic.they can't digest anything else than romance or saas bahu saga

What you are saying might be true for some people, but I did not have any expectations from Arya. And also the show cannot be called a psychological thriller, because it is hardly so. There is literally no thrill, in the beginning there was some now it is stale af. I was watching it for the thrill element and for me it is gone. So I have more or less quit watching.
