RuMya were too modern for Gul. She started something really good but hit a brick wall because she only knows one way of doing this. She might blame it on the couple not having a fan base or that they can't gather TRP's, but we all know that's a load of bs. She just doesn't have the balls to admit that she doesn't know how to go about this unless the ML is an AYM and the FL a lesser educated, self-sacraficing, chirpy, problem solving saint.

Yhm is very gud show, even it was trp topper, lead ishita is also mahan & sacrificing but she never fails to show raman his mistakes, she was well educated woman, she was not chirpy or bubbly. Indian viewERS very well accepted d character of ishita. Ishita's character is a slap 2 those producers who think only less educated, chirpy bubbly grl can get trp.

Self sacrifice ki devi thi ishita..😆 You know, since episode 1 i was a regular follower of YHM and continued watching it till they brought that lady who had kidnapped Ishita's biological daughter when she was just born and then came the horrible leap and i stopped shipping Ishra..

Yes i agree that ishita was undoubtedly a very educated woman who used to manage her clinic and household chores side by side pretty well but there in most of the tracks EK never gave too much scope to Raman to behave like a true savior.. Whenever any problem had raised in family or regarding Ruhi or Adi, it was only their ishima who was the idol for the show.

Raman was off course important but only for making the leads fall in love with each other and for the romance dozes.. whereas Gul's shows give equal weightage to both the leads in almost all the cases..

you see, starting from Maan to arnav, shivaay and now Omkara in DBO, the MLs play such an integral part of the the everyday episodes..

aur aise shows ke all the PHs of Indian soaps choose a too rich arrogant business magnet and a medium or uneducated FL.

In other shows of EK, this purane idea continues.. that the hero will be too rich, too fluent in english and the heroine is nothing in front of him in terms of education.

YHM was unexpectedly accepted and loved too much by the audiences..

But in most cases a poor bubbly heroine is accepted by the damn TRP viewers and offcourse this shit TRPs is all that the Serial makers care of.

Gul should have made an infinite series of IB and DBO as a web show and not a Television item..
